1st time at Smeaton's View, what a view! Feels like home from the moment you walk in. Very clean and tidy and comfortable. Great for couples or families, and only about 5-10 minutes walk from St ives harbour/ Town depending on route. Apartment is on 2nd floor so stairs to climb- a consideration for anyone with mobility issues. Overall a great place to stay.

Another excellent holiday at Smeatons View, the weather was fantastic which made the view from the apartment even better, if that is possible.

Great location, amazing views we really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. We felt the furnishings were a bit dated and the whole place needed a bit of a deep clean. But we did enjoy our stay in St Ives.

Beautiful located flat with excellent views and parking

A lovely property with a great view of St Ives harbour. Not recommended if you struggle walking up hill as the property is located above the town centre. No central heating so it was a bit chilly at times in the cold weather. Low ceilings in places can be a problem if you are tall. But overall a great place to stay.

Our stay in Smeaton's View was wonderful and the view from the living room balconies are to die for, The appartment is uphill from the centre of St Ives and may be a bit steep for some, but an easy route to get to the shops, restaurants and seafront. The only reservation was the bathroom that is in need of a bit of a refurb (especially the worn bath), but it was a lovely base for us to enjoy St Ives and explore the rest of Cornwall, returning the the fab view both during the day and through the evening.

loved our stay at flat 5,the views were stunning,nice having two parking spaces so no door knocking,we found a less steeper route in to town which made life better for our knee's, we will be back again,( hope the cost of petrol will be down by then !!)

The views from all windows were amazing. We loved the location of the apartment too. The initial arrival with all the luggage and lugging it up several flights of stairs wasn't fun, but once you're settled, and you get to sit and enjoy the views, it makes up for it.

The sloped ceilings took a little getting used to, but after the first concussion, you get used to it. The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs; the only small niggle was that there was no rack in the grill pan for cooking breakfasts. Tin foil in the cupboard would be a nice little extra touch.

All in all, this place was a very pleasant stay. If we can afford to come and stay again in the future, I'm sure we will be back.

Beautiful views of St Ives from the balcony and worth waking early to watch the sunrise which is stunning. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. The parking spaces a bonus. The bus and railway station are both close by which were very useful for visiting other local attractions/areas.

You will not be disappointed with the stunning views from this apartment. Washing up was a joy . Very comfortable bed , we slept well . The walk down into town was easy , walking back up was hard , but after a couple of trips much easier. Not a modern apartment inside but the views made up for this .

Lovely apartment with excellent views. Spacious and comfortable with very convenient parking. We've been regular visitors to St Ives for many years and it's one of the nicest places we've stayed. High above the town, but with plenty of step free routes to the town.

Booked smeatons view,to visit my brother who lives in st ives,absolutely beautiful views,apartment,well presented and clean,couldn’t fault smeatons views ,my daughter in law and myself have booked with aspects holidays for next year,a different location,due to needing an extra room,excellent service from aspects holidays,so Thankyou so much .

This is our second visit to this property and won’t be our last. Yes you do have to be prepared to walk back from town but there’s a good bus service or taxi if needs be. To get the outstanding view from this property is worth it. Get up early and see a sunrise from the balcony in the living room is breath taking or a stunning sunset. It’s in a quiet part of town which is nice when you want to get away from the busy centre. Well kept garden with lots of seating. Another great plus is it has two parking spaces.

Lovely apartment with lovely views, but a bit tired in places. Enjoyed our stay but probably will not return here, too old to cope with all the stairs.

Smeaton's View is probably in one of the best places in St Ives to get a view, you can see into the harbour and right across the bay. After a busy day in town the balcony is the perfect place to sit with a drink, unwind and watch the world go by.

Smeaton’s View provides amazing family accommodation and the best views of St. Ives that we have seen. We loved our stay and will definitely book again.

A great place for a stay in St Ives - especially as it had two parking spaces. Very convenient for the town centre and we had some wonderful panoramic views as we sat on the wicker chairs on the balcony! We were a 15 minute walk away from the Tate on one side and Porthminster Beach on the other. The steep stairs back were manageable by our mixed aged party although we did discover a slightly longer and more gradual ascent which we used more frequently. The beds were very comfortable. You certainly need to heed the 'Mind Your Head' sign as the eaves could take you unawares. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful views from main bedroom, kitchen and sitting room. Very therapeutic to sit on the sofa and watch the sea. And a pleasure to look out the kitchen window while washing up!

Lovely stay over christmas here. Lovely location. Amazing views. Facilities provided were fantastic. Needed a better clean before arrival. That did let it down as the cleaner had not cleaned the sinks or bathroom properly. I cleaned it all myself to get previous peoples hairs up.

Smeaton's View is becoming a second home to us.Don't believe there is a nicer property in the whole of St Ives!

The views from Smeatins View is awesome, it was difficult to tear ourselves awsy each day. The accommodation has two parking spaces which is a premium in St. Ives. Unfortunately I personally feel that the accommodation decor looked tired in places ie Hallway, artexing in kitchen and 2nd bedroom, some of the bedroom furniture could also do with replacing as well as the carpet. Walking into Town and back isn't for those with mobility issues, access is via steps or steep hills, however a taxi is £6 or there is a bus service 50 yards from the property which runs regularly to and from Town. Not sure I would return for the cost in its current condition.

Another great holiday at Smeaton's View, breath taking views, a great place to sit and watch the world go by and the tide come in and out.

We had a brilliant two week stay at Smeaton’s View, it is a lovely light and airy apartment with the best view of the bay. Ample parking and plenty of room for everyone. The children loved having the garden to play in whilst we relaxed on the balcony. We walked down into town in a couple of minutes using the steps, although we soon found a quicker and less vertical route!

Just had a wonderful week at Smeatons view, spectacular views, made all the steps into the town worth while. Very clean and tidy, would recommend it and would be happy to stay there again next time we are in St Ives.

A beautifully decorated property with a stunning location. It was difficult to tear ourselves away from the balconies and the views but when we did it was really cosy and welcoming. We hope to return again in warmer weather!

We had the most fantastic week in Smeaton's View - so good that by Thursday we had been and booked for next year! The views are wonderful, and if you don't want to go anywhere - just sit and look at the view!

we didn't need the television with views like that. Rain or shine stupendous sunrises and sunsets what more could we ask for.

Smeatons view is a beautiful holiday apartment. The views are amazing from all rooms in the property. The property is well equipped and has everything you need for a break away. I have stayed in other property's in st ives and nothing compares to smeatons view. I have stayed there 4 times now and would defiantly like to stay there again in the future. I would certainly recommended this property to family and friends it's wonderful. I should also mention that this property is only a short walk from some great shops, bars and restaurants.

Amazing views on a clear day of all angles of St Ives.

Fantastic views and comfortable flat with two long convenient flights of steps to get you down into the town, in 5 minutes, which are a decreasing challenge as your fitness improves on the way home!

We enjoyed our short break at Smeatons View. Location was superb for us. Weather was kind and the views were amazing. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful views

Smeatons view is an amazing place to stay. My first stay was 3 years ago and I have returned once a year since. The views from the property are out of this world. The property is very clean and well equipped with things you may need on your holiday. The town centre is also very close to smeatons view roughly 10 minutes walk. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the town centre. Over all my stay at smeatons view has been great and no doubt I will be returning there next year.

The views are amazing, you are away from all the crowds in the town and the walk back up keeps you fit!
