The view from The Focsle is breathtaking. If you love the sea, this is the place to be. The property itself is comfy, warm, roomy, and has everything needed to feel at home. When you walk into the lounge every morning and see that view and hear those waves, you won’t want to move from your comfy seat by the balcony. It was very difficult to leave that view at the end of the week. Perfect for chilling out, and a lovely base to return to after exploring St Ives.

I did not want to leave this place…..that speaks volumes. Amazing.

What an amazing property. Wish it was free the same week next year as we would definitely be back. Everything has been thought of and the well stocked beach cubby meant we didn’t need our own chairs, parasol, boules, buckets, spades, boards etc. Thanks for a week to remember.

Lovely apartment with fantastic views over Porthmeor beach from the lounge. Fab kitchen, really roomy and well equipped with everything you could need. Two generous sized bedrooms downstairs with a lovely modern bathroom. Peaceful and quiet.

Absolutely loved the service from Aspects, so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Have booked through Aspects before and will continue to - definitely the best agency in St Ives!

Lovely property, clean and comfortable and very spacious. Stunning views over the beach and the Island. We need to bring a pair of binoculars for whale and dolphin watching next time. The property is well equipped and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay - would love to come back with the kids in the summer to enjoy the outside space and that magic door to the beach.

Super situation, well stocked kitchen, lovely thoughtful decorations for Christmas, super book selection. Enjoyed off season holiday and surf watching.

St Ives and in particular Porthmeor Beach are for us the ideal holiday location, which is probably why we have now been holidaying annually here for the last 19 years. In all of that time, we have stayed many different places but in the Focsle, we have found a perfect family base for a beach holiday. Stunning views, easy access onto the beach, comfortable apartment and easy access into town - we recommend it highly.

Aspects are a great company to deal with - extremely helpful and any problems are dealt with promptly.

What an amazing property. My only disappointment is that it is so popular I haven’t been able to re book.

Here again for our third December pre Xmas week. Nice to be here after Covid cancellation last year. Nice new furniture too! Realised on second day that the TV aerial had apparently disappeared- blown away in recent storms no doubt - but Aspects dealt with it incredibly quickly and only a few hours later, a new one was installed. Thanks Aspects for the voucher and also the owners for theirs so we had a nice little sum to spend at the deli on a bagful of treats. Despite some Covid restrictions St Ives and the surrounds were gorgeous as ever. Great lunches at Porthmeor Beach Cafe and the Seafood Cafe on Fore St.
We'll no doubt be back next year.

We had a terrific week - the sun shone, the accommodation was exactly what we wanted, and St Ives was its usual fantastic town filled with little independent shops and cafes. We love it so much, we continue to come every year!

We knew Focsle down under would be special because of the location and the view but it was more than that. The experience of living so close to the sea with all the amenities that we needed close by was amazing! The voucher for The Allotment was a very nice gesture and we thank you for that.The bonus we did not expect was that we were not woken by the seagulls we just did not hear them! We had a lovely holiday and have booked again for next year! A really spacious and comfortable cottage. A real Gem in St Ives crown!

Absolutely beautiful and in one of the best locations in St Ives. I stayed for 5 days with my elderly mother and it was perfect as even on dull days she could look at the stunning view while I went for a walk. Spotlessly clean and an unexpected voucher to use at the local delicatessen which was a lovely surprise. Will definitely book again, my only complaint is how difficult it is to find a free week because it is so popular. :)

This is the perfect location for couples or family. Just for view and fact that it has the perfect location in St Ives between the two best beaches (and beach cafes - awesome food). A short walk to Tate, galleries and high street and handily a new grocer which saves the otherwise longer walk into town.

Second time in this fantastic house. Cannot beat the location. We saw seals every day including a pup that came up on the beach right in front of us, looked about and then waddled back in..... also saw dolphins at Porthgwidden. You need a bit of a trained eye though! House is cosy and well equipped and appreciated the lovely new bathroom. Did have a leak but was sorted same day no problem at all. Great service so thanks for everything.

The Focsle is one of the best positioned properties in St Ives. With it’s Juliet window onto the beach, you can sit and enjoy the spectacular sunsets each evening. A private gate onto the beach (height of sand allowing) makes this an ideal location for families hopping on and off body boards. The Focsle is spacious and comfortable, and is guaranteed to provide a relaxing holiday for anyone.

Thank you to the owners for sharing their gorgeous house. We stay in St Ives every Easter and this was our favourite house by a long way. The location is perfect and the space is brilliant - we loved the sitting room and the large kitchen with its high ceilings. The house was very well equipped and we really appreciated the use of the beach equipment - we used the boogie boards every day. The bathroom is obviously newly done and was beautiful - the bath was huge and much appreciated by my tall husband! It was a privilege to stay at the house and we hope to come again.

Wonderful property, best location ever. Loved watching the seals every day and the surfers. Warm cosy and welcoming property, felt at home at once. Loved the kitchen diner when we could tear ourselves away from the window. Great service and friendly company. Will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Focsle Down Under. It was very comfortable and warm, which is what you want in November. Although the weather wasn’t very kind to us we were more than happy to sit and watch the world go by through that amazing window.

A really comfortable, spacious cottage, gorgeously close to the beach and a gentle stroll away from the town. Well appointed and cosy, it feels like a real home from home. Our little girl adored her stay here and we will definitely be back!

Simply superb cottage with breathtaking location, clean, well equipped and central to everything.

Foscle down under is the perfect location for those who love quick and easy access to the beach as well as only a cockstride from the harbour and town with all that has to offer. The outdoor shower for our exclusive use was a huge bonus when returning from a dip in the sea. The property has a perfect view over Porthmeor beach and we enjoyed listening to the waves crashing on the shore. It is very well equipped for a family and we would definitely stay there again.

It was specially nice to have a large range of beach equipment to use. We've stayed in St Ives many times in nice cottages but this one is special. From the visitors' book it's clear the same people come back again and again and no wonder!
