The Shiralee was perfect! I stayed here 34 years ago and, even though it was beautiful then, with Aspects it has certainly improved. The cottage was so well laid out; the kitchen wall has been knocked into the living room, giving it a more airy feel. The living room was wonderfully cool in the heatwave. The rooms were furnished tastefully with attention to detail and the kitchen, although compact, had every appliance possible, as well as loads of dishes, plates and casserole dishes! In the cupboard under the stairs, there were even a windbreaker and a parasol. The bathroom is modern and clean. It was particularly useful for it to be downstairs near my parents' bedroom as they are in their 70s. We loved it, and made use of the small bistro set in the courtyard. I'm coming back!

What an amazing 5 days we have had. We arrived at St Ives at 7.45am after leaving kent at 3am. We parked in Barnoon to unload. You can unload closer but as we had a space we decided not to risk losing it x The property is amazing. Very well equipped and like home from home . Location is perfect so close to everything but still quiet. We will be back. Thank you Aspects.

A great location right in the heart of town.Has downstairs bathroom and bedroom for those with limited mobility. We are family of 5 and we had ample space (which was needed as Lockdown happened during our stay). Really lovely and quiet cottage.

Cottage is in a superb location, with Fore Street and Porthmeor Beach only moments away. It is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday.

Just back from a great week at Shiralee. It had everything we needed and more.

Lovely cottage everything you need. Plenty for the kids to do. Bathroom let’s this property down really badly needs a refurb.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that you feel that the bathroom lets the property down; especially when it sounds like everything else there worked so well for you and the rest of the family. We try to offer a very wide range of properties that will suit the different styles, tastes and budgets of individuals. Some properties or areas within properties may be more dated in appearance than others, but we will always try to show this as best as possible within the photos. With inspections taking place each year, we ensure that owners are keeping the properties well maintained and we will always pass on guest's suggestions regarding any upgrades, to the property owners, for their consideration, so thank you for your helpful comments. It is great to hear that Shiralee had everything you needed, and we very much hope that we will see you again soon. Lucy, Customer Services

Great quiet location, but very close to fore street. Everything you could ask for in the property!

Brilliant for families, very well equipped, perfect location

Highly recommend this property, modern, clean and in a great location away from all the hustle and bustle.

Shiralee is a stunning property with so much history behind it it’s located in hicks court. The property was of a nice size for a family of SIX plenty of space and also in a great location. The property had everthing you needed for a two week stay.

Brilliant location if you want to be situated less than a 5 minute walk to the back street where all the shops pubs restaurants are. Also excellent that you can walk out your door and be on Porthmeor Beach with in a couple of steps! also a little walk to the other lovely golden sand beaches.

Comfortable and pleasant cottage: our second year did not disappoint. Location is perfect and cottage amenities are great. Would stay again

Fabulous cottage in an amazing location. We could even hear the crashing waves on Porthmeor from our bedroom! Very comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of space for the whole family to relax (including the dog) after a bracing winter walk on the beach :)

Beautiful cottage, comfortable clean and had everything you needed plus more! Lovely location with a great historical factor! Definitely will return! Great for a family with disabled/older generation as bathroom and double bedroom (one of three) on ground floor. Great for family holidays.

Great convenient location. Accessible accommodation which is hard to come by, and a well appointed kitchen. A great place to stay!

Very good location, comfortable cottage. Would stay again.

Loved the fact that you thought to provide coffee, tea sugar and milk for arrival at cottage, was very much appreciated thank you.

We were very sorry to hear of the issues that you reported during your stay. The owner was informed and will be fixing the window so that it closes and locks properly, he will also fix the broken tile and has already arranged a meeting with the builder. The issues with the tv and dishwasher were rectified immediately. I know that we have since discussed everything in more detail since your departure and want to thank you again for bringing these to our attention. Tanya, Customer Services.

A lovely place to stay. The stairs are quite steep so if you have any mobility problems this should be considered, it was fine for us. The WIFI and smart tv made our kids holiday 100 times better than last year.

fab place great location would stay there again

Great family accomodation with downstairs bedroom suitable for elderly guests, steep stairs do lead to further bedrooms though.Lovely cottage in an excellent location, comfortable and in great decorative order.
