Very comfortable, clean & well equipped lovely holiday cottage. Great views, relaxing to hear the sound of the sea. The location is superb with easy access to all of St Ives & the beaches. We found parking easy, so not having parking with this property wasn’t a problem. We had a wonderful stay here & would definitely stay again.

Our second visit back for two weeks this time to this property. We absolutely love Sea Dream, especially the location. This is a traditional fisherman’s cottage and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My only suggestion would be a larger bed. We will be back one day again I’m sure. Thank you :)

What an amazing find, Sea Dream lived up to all our expectations. Everything you need for a relaxing break in St Ives and the Aspects team were local to answer any questions we had.

Fantastic views, you can hear the waves as you lay in bed which is lovely.

Very comfortable for the two of us, 4 adults might be a bit of a squeeze.

We'll be back x

Beautiful property in gorgeous location Accessibility could be an issue for some Steep stairs and low roof points

Thank you for your helpful feedback. We are sorry if this had not been clear on the website. We have now added additional information to highlight that stairs are steep and ceiling heights low in some areas of the property. We are glad you liked it here and hopefully we will have the opportunity to welcome you back again one day. Tanya, Customer Services

I had a lovely week staying here. Like all similar fisherman’s cottages, the layout is compact and quirky, but that’s part of the charm. The location is sufficiently out of the way to be away from crowds and noise, but it’s still only a short walk from everywhere in the town. The bed was super comfy, and the sound of the waves lulled me to sleep at night and gently woke me in the morning. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely week in Sea Dream - the snug is a great place to sit and look at the sea - and the location is perfect for the harbour attractions while still quiet and away from the crowds. There are 3 points in the property where anyone over about 5' 3" will have to mind their heads, and being on 3 floors, you'll be going up and down stairs a lot especially as the bathroom is on the ground floor. But the owners have kitted it out well for a very comfortable week, and being able to see the sea from your very comfy bed is fab!

We are glad that you enjoyed your time at sea Dream; the owners have certainly tried to think of all their guests needs. A lot of the traditional fishing cottages have quite quirky layouts, steeper stairs and often areas where ceiling heights can be lower. The character and quirkiness are part of the attraction of staying in these properties, and what helps to make St Ives so charming, but the location of the bathroom from the bedrooms and being over 3 floors is something that some may need to consider. The height going in from the front door and down to the kitchen at Sea Dream is a bit on the low side, but taller guests will be fine through most of the property. Thanks for sending in your feedback and we hope to see you back again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

If you like beaches and sea views sea dream was perfect a short walk across the road down some steps and your on the beach. It’s really close to the quay and yet tucked away so it’s quiet the seafood restaurants are amazing I definitely recommend it

Amazing location, compact but perfectly adequate house, clean and well presented. Stairs are steep so not ideal for small children or anyone with mobility issues.

A lovely cottage in a great location. Sea views are lovely and a few minutes walk from the harbour and all the beaches.

Beautiful property, allows you to be in the centre of St. Ives. Couldn’t see the see as much as I assumed but tilt your head or walk out the door and you’re basically on it, ready for the day! Parking was unfortunately a nightmare so we had to walk 20 mins in from the furthest car park in the end. Wasted a fair few hours waiting in closer car parks and checking them all out before we worked out this was easiest than driving around the one way system as it gets very busy. The rover parking ticket was helpful for this though! The property itself was all good; just the hob had issues remaining on but as didn’t cook many breakfasts inside it wasn’t too much of an issue. Overall I would definitely recommend; cute property in an ideal location. Few mins walk if that and you’re amongst the bars and restaurants. You can hear the sea at night but it’s peaceful enough you don’t tend to hear many, of any, other people.

Beautiful cottage in a brilliant location! Minutes from stunning beaches and the harbour with so much to do on your doorstep. Lots of character and more than enough space for a family of 4. Comfy beds and well equipped kitchen and beach extras. The only issue we had was car access and parking, but that’s the price you pay for the location. We stayed in August so parking was challenging and there were road closures in town during the day which I imagine is not all year round. We would highly recommend Sea Dreams for couples or families with older children and would stay there again!

It was lovely to hear just how much you enjoyed Sea Dream; it really sounds like it suited you down to a T. Unfortunately, many of the traditional villages here were just not designed for today's traffic and parking needs, but for many, that is part of the charm of such a town or village. The traditional streets and buildings with the added bonus of stunning beaches within a short stroll, makes for a perfect holiday spot, so we hope that you found the compromise worthwhile; it certainly sounds like you did. There are car parks in and around the town and a few private parking options available, so please do not hesitate to contact us for advice on parking options before booking again; we would be happy to help. We really enjoyed staying at Sea Dream, location was perfect for getting to Porthgwidden beach and only a short walk to the shops and bars etc. The snug is a great place to watch the tide roll in and out. We would definitely be returning to Sea Dream.

We have had yet another amazing trip to St Ives - Sea Dream is perfectly situated to allow easy access to all the beaches shops restaurants and car parks. The sea glimpses from the bedroom and snug windows are amazing [the one time I wished the weather was a little rougher so we could watch waves crash on the rocks - but we were again lucky the weather was amazing]. The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, kitchen with all you need for a weeks stay. There is storage for surfboards etc should you need it in the utility room where you will also find the microwave! Please note that this property is on 3 floors and due to the age of the property the ceilings are very low in places.

Adored Sea Dream - fantastic property with homely touches and fantastic location. I would highly recommend this property

Sea Dream is a lovely little gem of a fisherman's cottage in a beautiful and quiet location just a moment from the harbour. The staff at Aspects were excellent as always - so helpful - which is why we keep coming back since we discovered them.

Website very helpful

The cottage name Sea Dreams just about sums this place up....Wonderful going to sleep on a comfy bed listening to the sounds of the sea, sea views from all windows, great location , would recommend !

Perfect location. Lovely cottage. Very comfortable.

Lovely location with very close proximity to the harbour front, Smeaton's pier, the island, Balamuz and Porthgwidan beaches, and only a couple of minutes further to Porthmeor beach. Lovely comfortable beds - i wish I could have brought the pillows and mattress home with me as it was the best sleep I've had for a long time. Sea Dream was cosy, well equipped and cheerful. Great to find a welcome pack containing essentials, and the fact there were laundry capsules, dishwasher capsules, washing up liquid and a host of other little things provided that one usually has to buy. That was a great benefit. Lovely to open my eyes in the morning and watch the rising sun break through light clouds to shimmer over the sea without having to lift my head from my pillow. Although the daytime was a little busy with people going to the beaches and St Ives museum a few yards away, it was never noisy, and the evenings and nights were quiet and tranquil. No negative points at all. My daughter-in-law and I were fine as we are both under 5ft 4, but my 6ft 2 husband, and 6ft son had to remember to duck going up from the kitchen area to the first floor, but they soon learned! ?? That's not a criticism, as it's a historic typical Cornish cottage and it just added to the prettyness of the place. We'd all definitely return there again!

This is a brilliant property.

It is one of those that you have to actually stay in it to fully appreciate in terms of the views and the sounds at night due to the proximity of the sea.

Has something special about it this property which I can't quite put my finger on but even in the stormy days sitting in the kitchen at night felt magical.

Really liked it and one of those properties that deserve to be successful.

Delightful cottage .Very well equipped ,close to all beaches, restaurants and shops and very few cars pass by which at the height of the season must be a huge bonus,

Great quirky cottage with everything you could need. The sea view from nearly all the rooms was fantastic and the fact that the beaches and the harbour are on your doorstep was amazing. We will definitely be back to Sea Dream!

Its a really good property, exceptionally clean, close to amenieties and great place to stay.

Lovely cottage in great location

Excellent everything you would need for a wonderful holiday a perfect holiday cottage.

Brilliant cottage in an excellent location close to town, beaches and car parking. Would highly recommend to anyone stopping in St Ives
