This was our third stay at Lobster Pot, now having our 3 month old daughter with us we wanted to stay somewhere we were familiar with and that we knew was comfortable. It really is a home from home, equipped with most things we needed and with plenty of space for the 3 of us.

A lovely cottage in the heart of St Ives, near the beaches, cafes and resteraunts. Lobster Pot is clean, well looked after with everything you need,a veritable home from home ??

The Lobster Pot is a conveniently situated cosy cottage. Tastefully decorated and a good sized master bedroom. The second bedroom is tiny and only suitable for kids. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a standing room only shower room with separate toilet and situated behind the glass panelled glass door so offers no privacy. Would only recommend for a couple.

We absolutely loved our week stay at the Lobster Pot. Early December is a great time to visit st ives, as it’s quiet and peaceful. Though when the town was busy, it was great to be able to escape home where it was hidden away in the back alleys away from the hustle of town. But still close enough to all that it has to offer. The house itself was beautiful and cosy with a great added touch of a Christmas tree. Only down fall was that the cleaner clearly had a day off when needing to do our cottage. Though this was not at fault of Aspects theirselves, as the cleaners are employed by the home owners. However, when brought up with aspects an offer of another cleaner and a vast amount of sorry presents was amazing and Nikki was great. If visiting St Ives, make sure to go over to Godrevy and meet the seals and wild ponies who came within metres of us. As well as Phillips pasty shop at Hayle. Thanks again for a great stay.

We are so pleased to hear that you had a lovely stay at Lobster Pot, it really is a great home-from-home for your stay, offering a cosy base after spending the day exploring the local area. We can confirm that the housekeeper had attended the property, as usual, before your arrival, but we are sorry that the level of cleanliness did not reach the standard you would have expected. We, the owner, and the housekeeper of the property never like to hear of disappointed guests, and we always want to rectify any issues such as these as soon as possible. The offer of getting the housekeeper to return was not taken up by yourself, but Nikki did bring you a selection of goodies from Aspects to try and make up for any inconvenience caused. We are glad you enjoyed your time in St Ives and the surrounding area, and that you enjoyed a pasty or two! We hope to welcome you back very soon. Katy, Customer Service.

Property is exactly as described. Ideal location, just a few steps from beaches and shops. Welcome pack very welcome. Lovely decor tasteful and appropriate. Overall ,well appointed for a comfortable stay, with all that could be needed for self catering. Location is very quiet despite proximity to shops and beaches. This is compact property which is ideal for a couple or a small family. Our stay was not blessed by ideal weather, but the location was so convenient, when a dash to shelter was required. However, the weather being what it was, resulted in some spectacular surf and entertainment watching the brave souls riding it. We had a great week, thank-you.

Perfect cottage, near Porthminster and the harbour, always a very high standard of cleanliness , a pleasure to stay there

A fantastic cottage, very well equipped, very suitable for a young family or just a couple like ourselves. In an excellent location, a maximum of 2 minutes from the beaches and the shops. We will definitely be returning soon

The Lobster Pot is a lovely cottage with many positives but the cleanliness of the property really did let it down enormously.

Be mindful of parking in peak season, it is very difficult as parking spaces are limited even after purchasing the Rover Ticket - this does not gaurantee you a space to park!

We were so sorry to hear of this. We would expect that properties are cleaned to a very high standard for guests, so you should not have arrived to the issues that you did. Whilst this is certainly not the norm for this property, with the feedback usually being rated very highly, we have since passed on your feedback to this owner's housekeeper and we will very closely monitor this. Thank you for letting us know. Parking is in very high demand in the town, so for those properties without this facility, it is always worth looking into parking options beforehand on the local council website and looking into private parking availability, particularly for peak weeks. There is also a park and ride facility which some find useful. Please feel free to contact the team for any advice. Thanks for your comments, and we hope that you still enjoyed your time here. I stayed at The Lobster Pot with my Mum for her 80th Birthday gift.

The Cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and well equipped.

A stones throw from Porthmear, the Harbour and shops.

Very lucky that we had fantastic weather, although Cornwall is stunning all year round and whatever the weather.

We had such a lovely relaxed week, really didn’t want to leave!

Hope to come back soon.

Katie and Mum, Maureen

It’s a lovely cottage in a perfect location. We have stopped in St Ives for several years and we were worried how we would load/unload given it’s location off The Digey, but we shouldn’t have worried as it was easy to park near St Eia for a very short period before moving the car.

It was find for two but not for four

We are sorry if this was not as spacious as you had hoped. We appreciate that it may be a smaller property than what some are used to, but with enough beds to accommodate 4 (a double bedroom and a twin bedroom), along with a dining table and seating for 4 and a corner sofa, it has everything required to accommodate 4 guests. We try to ensure that our photos and description accurately reflect the seating and dining arrangements and space available, so we are sorry if this was not what you had expected. Stayed at the Lobster Pot, it’s a great cottage, well presented and central, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else ??.

We had a fantastic stay in the lobster pot the cottage is well equipped and beautifully presented throughout the welcome gift was a lovely little touch after such a long journey and the location is just amazing we would definitely stay here again

Lovely little cottage close to beach and all amenities.

Lovely property.

Nicely furnished and well looked after.

Really quiet property as well which is unique being situated in the heart of St Ives.

Perfect size for a family of 3 but can imagine would be ideal for couples and a family of 4 also.

Decor is lovely, nice little touches in all rooms, location is excellent. Only downside for us as a family of 4 is the small bathroom which is also downstairs. Also unloading/ loading the car proved to be a bit tricky as you just hope you don’t get blocked in ( as we did) or are able to reverse up the Digey without having anyone right behind you ( which we did)

Thank you for your review, we were really pleased to see that you liked the décor of the property and the little touches to the rooms. We were sorry to see that you found the shower room to be a little small for your family of four; we do try our best to capture the size of the shower room in the photos but we appreciate that it is difficult to fully gauge the size from pictures alone. Unloading and loading the car can be tricky, due to the narrow roads in this fantastic location, right in the heart of the town in one of the most popular locations within St Ives. We hope that you agreed that its location well and truly makes up for the difficulty with unloading and loading, and that you had a fantastic time here. We do hope to welcome you back to St Ives again soon. Ben, Customer Services.

We were satisfied with every aspect of the holiday cottage, and would recomend it to our friends and family without hesitation.

Lobster Pot is right in the centre of St Ives so you don't have far to walk to get to the beaches or the shops or the cafes. It's only two minutes to the Tate.

The cottage was very clean and well furnished.

Quiet cosy cottage, close to shops cafes and bars, superb chill out place.

The lobster pot is located perfectly next to the main shops and the beach. It is extremely comfortable, decorated beautifully and provides you with all the equipment you need for the week. Thank you for a lovely stay, will hopefully return very soon! Harry and Emily
