This cottage was amazing! Our 2nd time staying here, it’s so perfect for a week away, amazing location and could not find any faults at all, would definitely recommend

charming cottage in perfect location, did not need to use our car at all, amenities right on the doorstep. Very good that we could unload our car outside the property as roads are so tiny. Interior beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches. Brand new kitchen & bathroom. Furniture and decor extremely delightful. Ideal for two adults and a small dog. Local shop supplied good quality food and wine. Perfect for art lovers and potters. Cannot wait to go back!

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.

Growing in size and popularity, the St Ives Food Festival features top chefs, quality Cornish goods, sandcastle competitions for children and food demonstrations.

For two weeks only, Adventure 001, supporters of Cornwall Air Ambulance, will be bringing their helicopter experiences to St Ives! Choose from a 6 minute flight from £35 to a 30 minute flight from £96 and take in the incredible views across St Ives bay and beyond!

Bakehouse Cottage is a compact, cosy and homely cottage with everything that you need and would suit a couple or a family with young children. The cottage is nicely decorated and furnished and is in a good location for Porthmeor and Portgwidden beaches and is very close to the harbour. It is also dog friendly which is fantastic.We would definately stay again.

Great for a long weekend, warm and friendly with good facilities. Well furnished with amenities required for a stay and the location is very appropriate with what we were looking for from a long weekend - food, restraunts and beaches to walk the dog

Bakehouse Cottage has a lovely happy and relaxed feeling. We loved all of the personal touches likes the unique art work, lovely snuggle blankets and beautiful furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to cook a delicious duck for our Christmas dinner. Thank you so much for decorating the property in Christmas decorations- what a lovely surprise and made it feel like a home from home. Overall an amazing little cottage for a lovely relaxing stay...simply open the door and roll on down to the sea and The Sloop!

Bakehouse Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was in a great location close to the harbour and town, just a few minutes walk. It was close to the car park and the beaches. The cottage was beautifully decorated with a nautical theme.
