Love Bonny Banks this was our 3 rd visit and will certainly be back . Love the home from home comfortable feeling and found the property and position really relaxing.

This charming house has a superb location as well as very comfy beds and sofas! Plenty of towels and a wealth of local leaflets. Loved all of the artwork and the very eclectic selection of books. The beach is perfect for a puppy with dodgy recall as it’s completely escape proof, even with some wet weather we still had a perfect week away.

This place is truly stunning from the drive down the private lane way to the views from the front of Bonny Bank …… breathtaking! Our 5th time here at Xmas and we could not think of a better place to leave all the hard work worries of the year behind and enjoy what this beautiful part of the country can give you. You dream of living like this, and it can happen for a short space of time by spending some time in the fabulous part of Cornwall in Bonny Bank.

As ever the Aspect Holidays team are always on hand if you need them, but the place is left they way you would expect for a breath-taking time here …. Well done guys!

We had a fantastic week at Bonny bank, a really lovely and comfortable house. Luckily the weather held out too! The outside terrace is stunning, plenty of space for a few to enjoy. We were lucky to see dolphin at Praa sands, it is popular with surfers when conditions are right, so the reserved parking is ideal. We all wished we were staying for another week! Great walking from the house and swimming in less than 5 minutes walk. Prussia cove and especially Piskies cove at low tide is amazing for a swim, as is Kynance cove. Fantastic stay, lots of great memories and we would all love to return and highly recommend, despite the long drive! The Houghton family, Liverpool.

Our third stay at Bonny Bank. Family time in a lovely location and enjoyed beach walks and local destinations, particularly Trengwainton and further afield to the Eden Project. Caerhays is also another lovely visit at this time of year for magnolias.

Fabulous rustic house . It has the most amazing Sea views and fabulous gardens. Not good for people with mobility problems as quite steep with steps that are un even. Loved it??

This was our first visit to Bonny Bank and we will certainly return. What a wonderful house, full of charm and history. It has been a home from home which was much-needed, topped with the fabulous views, lovely gardens and interior.

We visited as a family of 5 to celebrate a 20th wedding anniversary, not having had a family holiday in over 10 years. Whilst family holidays can be hectic, we found it was so easy to relax, take in the fresh sea air and listen to the waves roll up the beautiful Praa Sands beach. We were fortunate enough to be joined by seals when taking a dip in the sea and even managed to spot a whale one evening.

We tried out many of the recommendations referred to in the guest book, all were excellent. We walked the coastal paths in both directions which were challenging but worth it for the views and scenery – stunning.

Wonderful property and well equipped. Bonny Bank has a lovely welcoming feel to to it and is in a prime position.

We had an excellent weekend , perfect for 5 adults and a greyhound. The house was amazing - a stunning aspect with lovely old private garden. It was a fairly cold and wet February weekend, we felt nice and cosy. TV and Wifi were excellent for an older property.

This was a unique holiday home, we loved the way the owners have provided everything you might need in 2022 and kept the essence of the period (1920s?) the house was built.

The description about the steps up was accurate, we managed fine but anyone with mobility issues should be aware.

We would love to return to Bonny Bank one day!

View was amazing, and cosy sitting room a delight to spend time in. Great location for the surfers amongst us and the rambler’s for fantastic walks.

We were so fortunate to stay at Bonny Bank for 10 days at the beginning of November 2021. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It’s location is fabulous, a very short walk to the beautiful Praa Sands beach and a great base from which to explore a lovely part of the country. Can’t wait to return, we still have many places we want to visit, though once you arrive at Bonny Bank it is difficult to leave! The Bourne’s and the Hitchcock’s

Brilliant views but difficult access steps to house

We very much enjoyed another stay at Bonny Bank!

A cosy cottage in a wonderful, quiet location with proximity to the beach and coastal walks. Even though the weather was not great we were able to enjoy the views of the sea from almost every window. The large amount of uneven steps were a challenge, especially in the rain, when making several trips up and down with luggage. A delightful afternoon tea awaited our arrival.

We absolutely recommend Bonnybanks, Praa Sands, location wise it is absolutely the best just a short walk to the beach, good luck with the Rayburn cooker, it can be mastered tho in time.

Great experience all round, from booking to the stay. ?? we had to leave but hope to return.

A stunning place to stay,with amazing views. If you are lucky to have nice weather, the outside seating has even more amazing views. Local stores stock homemade Cornish pies which are delicious. If you get nice weather, this is the best place to stay if you like 'al fresco' living.

Bonny Bank is a magical place. Cute house, very cosy, beautiful garden and the most amazing view on the sea. Having this beautiful beach a few steps away from the house felt really special. We also appreciated finding scones and a bottle of Prosecco at our arrival, this was a nice little extra. We were already considering coming back again before leaving! Note that there is not much at walking distance in terms of groceries or restaurants but this is also why the place is so quiet and refreshing.

Bonny Bank is well and correctly described by Aspects, although the information folders need updating. The location and views are truly stunning and the chalet bungalow is well equipped and comfortable. The garden is also a delight, with colour even in September. There is also good parking for 2 cars, but do note what Aspects say about the 28 steps – some of them are steep and there is no hand rail. The approach road is also narrow, partly because the foliage is overgrown. Being on the coastal footpath and a very short distance from the lightly used end of Praa Sands beach are other great benefits and the agents were attentive to the queries we raised with them.

For local eateries about 10 minutes away on the main road we recommend the Lion and Lamb at Ashton (dog friendly if you ring first) and the Queens Arms at Breage. KC’s Fish & Chips at Rosudgeon are great – you need to book a slot by phone after 3pm. For a Sunday roast go to the Victoria Inn at Perranuthoe.

We had a lovely holiday and recommend the property.

This was a truly special cottage. The views from the patio and almost every room in the house were as spectacular as they look in the photos. The cottage was built in the 1920’s as one of the first holiday cottages in Praa Sands and it retains much of its original charm and character and yet has been modernised and decorated so tastefully and cozily.

The garden was also a really lovely space, with its slightly quirky design, and even in early September it was filled with lots of colour and interest. It was a beautiful place just to sit and be calm.

The beach is literally a 5 minute walk from the house and is a great place for playing, walking, swimming, paddle boarding and the occasional surfing. In our week we only had two days of waves suitable for body boarding, and even those were a little puny, but bodyboarding in the sun in an empty sea is always enjoyable! The warm outdoor shower, wooden shelter next to the shower and drying frame over the Rayburn makes this cottage perfectly set up for enjoying the sea!

And as if that isn’t enough there are stunning coastal walks in both directions, with the coastal path running along the tiny road at the bottom of the garden path.

We had a wonderful time here and were incredibly lucky with the weather, but this cottage would be wonderful whatever the weather. There are so many interesting places to explore within a short drive . On our one wet day we went to St. Ives and had the best burgers we’ve ever eaten in ‘The Hub’ on the harbour side!

This is a beautiful, quiet cottage in stunning surroundings and comes with our highest recommendations - and our young people really appreciated the excellent WiFi too!

Without doubt, the best rental we have ever stayed in. What's not to like about a very well appointed property that is clean, cosy and is accompanied by the most amazing views.

It is located in a quiet area and you can be on the beach in under 5 minutes, which even in school holidays never seems to get stupidly busy.

The nearby village of Porthleven (a short drive away) is handily placed, where you can get pretty much everything you will need to eat/drink.

This was our second visit to Bonny Bank and I have no doubt that we will visit again soon.

Fabulous place for walks, sea and surf. Spectacular sunsets.

We all slept like babies to the sound of the sea. Bonny Bank is comfy and full of character. Highly recommended.

We were upgraded to this holiday home when our actual booking in Newlyn became unavailable. Bonny Bank is without doubt the most wonderful cottage that we have stayed in, in over thirty years of visiting Cornwall. A homely and beautifully appointed and equipped house in the most stunning of beachside Cornish locations. If only we could affoird to stay here regularly ...!

I think the ground floor bedroom bed should be changed around to have the benefit of sea views and sky
