Cottage is great for those wanting to get out and about in this part of Cornwall …parking is a little walk away but safe. Great for dogs less than 10 minutes over fields to coast path and beach

Thank you for your lovely feedback following your stay at Pebbles. Like you say, the property is in a great location for exploring everything Lelant, Carbis Bay and the wider area has to offer, whether you are wanting to explore the sandy beaches or the cosy local pub. The parking space for the property is located just a couple of minutes away, tucked away down the next road, but we hope you agree that it is a great advantage having a designated space in an area with little parking available. Great cottage

We loved our holiday at Pebbles. Such a beautiful cottage in a great location. Lovely welcome basket and the scones were delicious so thank you to the owners. The cottage has every thing you need and more! Thanks again Aspects for another wonderful holiday we are already looking where to stay next year!

Great little cottage, very clean, in a lovely village. Great walks in area, bus stops on doorstep with very regular service which runs just about everywhere which saves on the high parking costs and the nightmare of finding parking in places like St Ives. The train station is down at the bottom of the village which is a lovely walk, or short drive to get to. The only problem there could be is the parking, which is for one car only, no where for any other cars to park anywhere near and its a bit awkward on arrival and departure for packing and unpacking with the property being on the main road and parking being around the block, so if you are not fit and able or have lots of luggage it could prove a little trouble. Otherwise a fantastic area and location and few minutes bus ride or drive to carbis bay, St Ives or a beautiful walk, or train ride away. Also extremely good location for visiting many other places too. Would stay again definately.

We are glad that you enjoyed this lovely property. The location really is fantastic for exploring the area, so we are glad that you agreed, and it sounds like you certainly made the most of it. Sadly, a lot of the old Cornish villages were not designed with today's traffic in mind and there are many properties without parking at all, so we hope that you found the fact that there was a space with this property, a useful facility. There are often spaces that can be found on nearby residential roads, but this will involve a walk and is not guaranteed, so it is advisable to stick to the one car. We have many customers who will get a train here, with the convenience of the station nearby, and this takes away the stress of parking completely. Please feel free to speak to the team for any advice on things like this if you are ever returning to the area. Tanya, Customer Services

Pebbles is an excellent holiday venue, serving all my needs and providing many extras. I love the cottage and garden, and make full use of the bus services. Many thanks to the owners.

Has a wonderful stay in Pebbles. Was a great base to travel to Lands End, St Ives, Penzance and Falmouth. We found it cosy and had everything we needed. Even though we had awful weather, we made the best of it and there's so many nice places to eat in Cornwall!

Spent a fortnight at Pebbles it is a lovely property with everything you could ever need, it is very comfortable and tastefully decorated the stairs are very steep but we knew this having stayed in similar cottages before . The garden is great asset and was well used although it could do with tidying up.Parking is behind the property five to ten minutes walk away and is a bonus. Bus stops virtually outside the property and run regularly, there is also the train straight down station hill check times for Lelant or you can drive to St Earth and get the day rover to St Ives run every half hour get on and off as much as you want lovely views out to Hayle Estuary, Hayle is also one of our favourite places with plenty of shops pubs and amenities if you enjoy a good long walk as we do make sure you explore it all.

We have just spent a week at Pebbles, 4 adults and a dog. The cottage was even better than expected. Really appreciated the welcome pack of goodies after a very long journey. The garden was a sun trap, lovely and secluded. We really enjoyed the extra touches of having the 2 sets of patio table and chairs located at the front and rear of the garden, including a deckchair, seat cushions, Parasol and outdoor blankets for the evening. The cottage was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with everything you need. The parking space was also a bonus, there is a lay-by with parking spaces for an extra car but these are on a first come basis and fill up quickly, make sure you park fully in the white lines or you will get a parking ticket, as we witnessed. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay at pebbles in Lelant, cottage was beautiful and very clean and tidy, plentiful amounts of towels, bedding, utensils and outdoor furniture, Aspects were a very professional company to deal with, and would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Great location for easy access to public transport links. Located on a very busy road so traffic noise can be an issue during the night/early mornings. Road outside is very narrow which can be difficult with dogs/ children. Cottage very well equipped in all areas. Could do with a refresh on the decor - paint peeling off the walls/ stains on the wall. The Badger inn is amazing - food is great and staff very friendly.

Thank you for your feedback, we are so pleased you enjoyed your time at Pebbles. As the property is located on the main road into St Ives, we do try to make this clear in the website description as we always want to be as open and honest with guests. The property is on a fairly busy, though also quite 'slow' section of road, and we would want customers to be aware of this before booking, as it may not be what everyone wants. However, being on this road makes it ideal for easily getting out to explore all the amazing places around this area of Cornwall. The volume of traffic does vary greatly at different times of the year though, so out of peak weeks, you will generally hear a lot less of the passing traffic. Thanks for letting us know about the paintwork. We will make sure that we pass on that feedback to the property owners. Tanya, Customer Services

Pebbles is a beautiful little cottage, very well equipped and a perfect location for exploring around St Ives & the local area. It's especially handy if you don't have a car, as it's right near the bus stop which is served by multiple buses, all of which we found out, are covered by a bus pass which is only £20 for 7 days, and can be used all across Cornwall, it's great! The pavement outside is very narrow though, so you do have to take care as it is a busy road. I highly recommend it as a place to stay if you want easy access to the hustle & bustle of St Ives, but be able to escape to the quiet.

A fabulous, very comfortable home with outdoor space, and excellent access to public transport. Loved it!

Lovely homely cottage, perfect for family of 4 - good size, has a great enclosed private garden Although on main road, traffic noise not a problem. Location is excellent - 5 mins from train station and less than 15 mins to beach. Dedicated parking space a bonus and only 3 mins walk from cottage Would definitely stay again

Pebbles is a lovely cottage in an ideal location for either walking into St Ives along coastal path approx 1hr or handy train station nearby for less than 10 mins ride. Kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of bed linen and towels. Lovely private garden with comfortable furniture, washing line a bonus. Lovely shower. Great pub Badger Inn 5 mins less than 5 mins walk away. Dog friendly Porthkidney beach is less than 20 mins walk away and is beautiful. Very clean and cosy cottage that felt spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, although it is worth noting there isn’t a wardrobe in the twin bedroom but plenty of drawer space. The road is very busy and noisy at times but as this is stated in description was not really a problem. Parking space is a street behind which is not really ideal but better than nothing. Aspect holidays were very quick to assist with a problem we had whilst on holiday and so we would definitely book with them again. Overall a great stay in a stunning part of Cornwall. We would happily return.

Thank you very much for your review. We were absolutely delighted to see all the things you liked about the property, and it was great to see that you found its location to be so great. That section of the coast is a lovely route into St Ives; one of my personal favourites. Whilst you do hear some road noise, we were glad that you agreed that the huge advantage of being located where it is, is having such easy access to so many amazing places around there, both by car and by foot; and whilst the parking for the property is not directly outside, many do not have this facility at all, so we hope that you still found it useful. The owners were keen to have something in place for their guests, that was as convenient as possible. We are very grateful that you contacted us during your stay about the issue you experienced, so that we had the opportunity to do everything possible to help resolve this for you at the time, and ensure that you were able to enjoy your holiday and this property to the fullest. Thanks again for your lovely comments, we really do look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Ben, Customer Services.

Pebbles is a well equipped cottage and an excellent base for a Cornish holiday . Porthkidney beach amazing as usual and within walking distance . Aspects very good company to deal with we felt nothing too much trouble even getting a refund for our dog who sadly we couldn’t bring

Great location close to bus stops. 10 mins to st ives £3.70 return.Great beach within 20 min walk. Great pub nearby and several eateries within 30 min walk . Great shower, property is well equipped with a decent garden space. Parking space is a 5 min walk, but you can unload on the pavement a few yards away first.

Brilliant for exploring the beautiful West Cornwall area, with great access to beaches and public transport links to St Ives if you don't wish to take your car. The cottage was clean and well equipped, with everything you'd need for a comfortable holiday. The main road does run just past the gate, but the traffic noise didn't disturb us, we just had to take extra care walking to the train station and pub (great food!).

Fantastic little property, loved how cosy the cottage was, lovely to sit in the back garden in the afternoon/evening sun, ideal location for getting to many of the beaches, loved porthkidney beach for the dog, great costal walk into St,Ives through Carbis Bay. Train was used on a few occasions great views, locals very helpful & chatty. defo come again

Pebbles cottage was absolutely charming. We had a brilliant 6night stay and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We stayed over the Christmas period and cooked a very nice Christmas lunch in the well equipped kitchen. The lounge area was cosy & comfy, and the shower was amazing! The heating was a bit hit and miss even though it was on a timer but there is a good wood burner effect fire which came in very handy. The only other thing I would say is the bed is a bit springy and lumpy but my partner slept like a log. Pebbles is a good base for exploring and there is a handy train station about a 5 minute walk away. The pub/restaurants closed on Boxing Day due to the tier system and nowhere really delivered to Lelant so just bare that in mind. Over all we had the best Christmas at pebbles and would definitely return in the summer.

Thank you for your comments. It is wonderful to hear that you had a brilliant holiday and that you had the best Christmas at Pebbles. When it comes to mattresses within a property, we know how important a great nice sleep is whilst on holiday, but these can of course be very subjective and comfort can vary amongst each guest, but we will certainly keep this monitored. We will also keep an eye on any further feedback about the heating, as this is not something that has been reported before now and we know that they owners would be keen to investigate if there is any issue with it. We very much look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Lucy, Customer Services

Lovely cosy cottage, small but equipped with everything you’ll need. Ideally situated for porth kidney beach and st Ives. Parking is a bit of an issue, we managed to park up on arrival and decided not to use the car during our stay otherwise we would have struggled to park close by. The garden is great if you have a dog with you. Great dog friendly pubs and bistros within walking distance, the badger, water mill, quay house, birdies and Becks in Carbis bay(not dog friendly but do take away)

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Unfortunately with some new houses having been built nearby, the amount of street parking has been reduced, which may mean that you need to park a little further from the property, certainly at busier times of the year, but there are always spaces down one of the nearby residential roads. And if you do decide to leave the car for the week, there is a regular bus service and of course the nearby coast path with stunning walks into Carbis Bay, St Ives and Hayle. You can always get the bus or walk to St Erth train station to be able to venture further afield too. It certainly sounds like you had a great time trying out the local pubs and restaurants; it's making me hungry just reading your review and knowing how good some of the food is in those places ?? Tanya, Customer Services

This little cottage is amazing, really cosy and in a great location, a five minute drive into the centre of St Ives or hop on the train for the scenic route. Spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with lovely furnishings. TV’s in both bedrooms as well as the lounge and a great shower and bathroom. Can’t wait to return

I loved my 3-week stay at Pebbles. A friendly neighbour, excellent public transport, a cosy but spacious cottage with valuable outside areas, & many facilities. However, to be picky, stronger lighting in the living area & better window coverings would have improved my stay even more. I'd love to visit again! Thank you.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your helpful suggestions, we will certainly pass those on to the owners of the property, for their consideration. We are glad to hear that you had a great time here; it really is a fabulous location for exploring all of the amazing places around here, and a great space to return at the end of a busy day. We hope to see you back again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

It's a decent enough cottage overall, lack of designated parking was a real problem for us, loading and unloading the van caused chaos in the street, there is possible parking 2 mins away, but not guaranteed, strange 1970s lighting downstairs needs ripping out, although there is modern spotlights?? Bathroom and kitchen were fine, bedrooms were fine, blinds were all a bit dodgy and curtain poles weren't wide enough for the windows, all maybe a bit picky but it's an honest review ,cottage was clean and we were confident that covid cleaning was done properly.

Property in lovely location to explore west Cornwall. The beach was about 15minutes walk, lovely for walking the dog. Unfortunately the house was not very clean on arrival, especially with COVID-19 around I expected better. The mattress was uncomfortable and old. Parking was difficult at times, with limited spaces near by. Facility’s in the kitchen were good.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are so sorry to hear that you had felt the cleaning standards were not what you would have expected on arrival. We would always expect everything to be 100% both during this pandemic or in more 'usual' times, and had we been aware of any issues we would have contacted the housekeeper and requested that they return to address any areas of concern immediately. At this stage it is impossible for us to investigate and rectify anything, but we have passed on the feedback to the housekeeper, so thank you for bringing this to our attention. The mattress can be quite a subjective thing and it can be quite difficult to find a mattress that will suit everyone, so we will monitor future feedback on this and of course, check it on our next inspection. Thanks for your helpful comments, and we hope that you had a great time here, making the most of the amazing convenient location for exploring this beautiful part of the country. Tanya, Customer Services

Another very enjoyable holiday at Pebbles. The property is ideal for those with pets, having such a large garden. It is very clean and well maintained, and the nearby parking is very helpful.

Pebbles is the ideal place to stay. It has everything you need for your comfort.

Lovely cosy cottage, excellent location for bus and train to st ives and the dog friendly beach. I will definitely book again

This cottage is very comfortable and clean. It is very accessible to lots of beaches. A very enjoyable stay.

Lovely comfortable house in a great area. Have booked again.

The Pebbles Cottage is a perfect getaway. The location offers a tranquil setting, only a ten minute walk to the beach and five minutes to the local dog friendly pub incase you don't fancy cooking. Local transport links are ample, bus stop directly opposite and the train station only a ten / fifteen minute walk away.

The Cottage comes equipped with all items you would ever need for an enjoyable stay, they really have thought of everything, from bucket and spades, board games, XBox, Netflix, selection of books and relaxing chairs out in the garden. The kitchen has all the utensils you will ever need to cook up a storm, although I can't recommend enough popping to the local pub for some food.

The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean, the cottage as a whole offers a truly relaxing time, shut the door and switch off to the world or step outside to a perfect location that offers the peace and quiet of sleepy Lelant combined with being close to all major attractions. We will certainly be heading back and can't recommend highly enough. Aspects Holidays Team are wonderful and communication was clear from the start.

Lovely modern well maintained spacious cottage, with a fantastic garden area for sitting outside. Brilliant location for travelling to St Ives or Penzance and only 5 minutes walk from the local pub, which sells some really good food.

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location.

Beautiful cottage with everything you could need , lovely long back garden , washer / dryer a godsend , lots of books games etc , tv in both bedrooms , Netflix on big tv in lounge , excellent for kids on a rainy day , lovely pub with good food at the bottom of the road , beautiful beach, snd dog friendly everywhere

We had a lovely stay at Pebbles. The beds were very comfy and the living/dining room is a good size. The garden was perfect for our dog and a real bonus as other properties we have stayed in before haven't had a garden. Path in front of the cottage is quite narrow but once we got down to the Badger Inn the roads are much quieter. Great for catching the train into St Ives, which we did twice.

A great cottage if you don't want to be in the centre of St Ives. We loved the location as we had excellent beaches nearby in Hayle & great restaurants in Hayle & Lelant. Good access into St Ives on the train

Cottage was lovely, simple and well presented. Back garden brilliant, what a clever idea, and stunning garden room with amazing sofas, although, weather not good enough to enjoy it fully. Please pass my thanks onto the owners for letting me bring both our dogs. 100% dog friendly, front and rear secure enclosed gardens

This is a very comfortable, quaint little cottage. We have felt very at home and cosy. We love the public transport links to St Ives, and the local pub is great and child and dog friendly. We would definitely recommend it.

Cosy cottage, very well placed and the garden is brilliant if you have dog's. The local pub The Badger is dog friendly too and the service, range of drinks and food is super.

Pebbles is a lovely cottage, well located to access the area of West Cornwall, however, it is located on the main road into St Ives, but the traffic did not affect our stay. There are lovely local walks from the cottage to the vast sandy dog friendly Pothekidney beach.

Lovely clean cottage, facilities excellent, handy for walks around the village and Porthkidney Sands and easy to get into St Ives

Excellent dog-friendly accommodation. Perfect location and friendly neighbours.

Lovely cottage in an ideal location for the Coast path and nearby dog friendly beach. Excellent transport links with bus and rail stations very close by although the walk to St Ives was so wonderful we decided to walk back too! several times! Comfortable, well equipped we had a lovely week and will certainly be back.
