Seascape is a very comfortable and spacious dormer bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac.It is well equipped with kitchen utensils for self catering (which we tend to do most of the time). Comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space makes it like home from home. The location is great as it is far enough away from St Ives to get peace and quiet but close enough to catch the train in or enjoy the walk along the coastal path. However it is a challenging walk to both station and coastal path so you need to like walking and to be fit and mobile. This was our second stay at Seascape and we have booked to stay again next April .

Great location 5min walk to the beach. Well equipped house for a family. Tesco only a few minutes away in the car.

There was milk/tea/coffee and a pack of cornish biscuits in the kitchen when we arrived. The house was in an excellent location, it was very well presented and sparkling clean. We would certainly book there again.

We had a lovely holiday, excellent house with nice garden and views, plenty of space for large family. Great location to walk to the beach and St Ives. Would definitely love to return.

Seascape is perfectly placed for a holiday on Carbis Bay or to catch the train to Porthminster Beach and St Ives. The views from the windows at the front of the house are spectacular. The house is spacious, well-equipped and accommodated our family of three generations easily, without us 'falling out' or tripping over each other. Tesco is nearby for shopping and there is a handy Costcutter within walking distance.
We knew the hill would be a challenge, so that is something to bear in mind if you don't have a willing chauffeur who is prepared to toil up the hill and bring the car down. Parking at Carbis Bay Beach is now £20 a day and parking is limited.

We were lucky with the weather, which always helps, but we would both recommend and happily come again.

Super comfortable and spacious property - well appointed and including 2 car spaces. Just a 10 minute walk to Carbis train station and beach which is fine unless you have mobility problems. Recommend this property.

Seascape is located just below the Lelant - St Ives road, above Carbis Bay. It features double bedroom, landing, and adjacent shower in the dormer roof space, double, twin, and single bedrooms with shared bath/shower at ground level, alongside kitchen/diner and lounge. Everywhere is well provisioned, only the kitchen struggling slightly if preparing a big meal (Christmas Dinner, for example).

The lawns front and back are great for the kids to mess around on.

The walk down to the beach and back is delightful and really good exercise. Tesco's is a brief walk away too, so you don't have to go by car.

Open the vertical blinds and you have truly fabulous views across St Ives Bay to Hayle beach and Godrevy lighthouse.

If we didn't have a trip overseas planned for next Christmas, I suspect we'd be back here.

A comfortable and spacious dormer bungalow set in a cul de sac. So quiet which suits us but situated in a perfect location for using public transport if necessary. Comfortable beds and sofas and lovely and clean. All the amenities you need if you intend to self cater and an ideal place with families with young or older children. We enjoyed our morning coffee or our evening glass of wine sitting looking at the sea view. There is no doubt we will be booking next year and hope the A30 works will be less problematic and

Lovely property despite the steep location . A great holiday with everything you needed

We had a wonderful week in carbis bay. The location of seascape is excellent and meant we could walk to the beach each day. The property was perfect for our family, it was roomy, light and cool. It was also very quiet which is helpful for getting young kids to bed. We would definitely book again!

A Lovely holiday home for all the family in a great area. Although, some people with mobility issues may struggle with the steps to the front and back of the property and the steep hill to and from the beach, it is near to a few shops, bars & restaurants and easy access to St Ives and other areas by Bus, Train, Car & walking the coastal path.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thanks for your feedback. Accessibility for those with any mobility issues is always something important to consider, especially with St Ives and Carbis Bay being notoriously hilly and many of the more traditional properties having very quirky layouts and steeper, narrower steps. The steps inside and outside of this property are not excessively steep, when compared to many of the properties around here, but if this is something that is an important consideration, please do not hesitate to contact the team to discuss it before booking. We are always happy to help. Tanya, Customer Services

Lovely lovely property! The views and location are amazing! Lots of amenities in the house like toys for the children. The house is spacious and there is plenty of room for a large family. The parking space was a huge bonus! The overall cleanliness wasn’t up to standard however there were plenty of cleaning products which we used. I would recommend bringing your own travel cot if required though as the one at the property was stored in the garage area, and when packing it away, we noticed that the duvet and sheet we used in it was mouldy, which it wasn’t before it was put in the travel cot.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We were so sorry if the cleanliness was not up to the usual standards. The owner now has a new housekeeper in place, and the cot is now stored inside. That isn't an issue that has been raised to us before, but to be on the safe side, it has been removed from the garage. Thanks for letting us know, and we are glad that you enjoyed this property and your time here. Tanya, Customer Services

This property nestles in the heart of Carbis Bay, a short walk up from the beach. Most of the accommodation is on the ground floor - well furnished lounge; well equipped kitchen; double, twin, and single bedrooms; bathroom and toilet. Upstairs is a double bedroom; a leisure area with TV and PS/4; and shower room.

Both ground and first floors command excellent views over St Ives Bay to Hayle beach and Godrevy lighthouse.

Furnishing and equipment are of a very high standard. The only items from which the property would benefit would be a tumble drier and a heated towel rail in the upstairs shower room.

We'll definitely consider returning - in high or low season.

Wow! What an amazing property. Fantastic location with sea views overlooking Carbis Bay which we never tired of seeing. Very spacious inside with everything you need to enjoy a perfect break. Carbis Bay train station is only a 5 minute walk away so you can be in St Ives within 10 minutes which we did most evenings. Aspect Holidays make the arrival seamless and simple. Will definitely be returning.

A lovely well equipped house in a great area , Steep hills around so not great if hard of walking. Just the weather needed and we were lucky in September, lovely and hot.

We had a lovely stay at Seascape, the property is very spacious and there was plenty of room for all the family. Although it is simply furnished, the furniture and fittings are good quality. We especially enjoyed the large lounge with sea views, the well-appointed kitchen diner, and the built-in BBQ in the garden! We would love to revisit again!

Beautiful part of Cornwall, this bungalow is in an ideal location with wonderful views of the bay

very well equipped with everything you need and more for a self catering holiday. the outside area was lovely and spacious, very private and even had a stone built barbeque which we used more than once.

we stayed with our elderly parents so it was easy on one level, but the top floor extension has a bedroom & shower room and a even little room with a sofa including everything you should need if you have a baby or children - ( TV, games, highchair, safety gate and toys)

we had a great week at this property and wouldn't hesitate to go back

Loved the location. A 5 min walk down to the gorgeous carbis bay beach. Lovely walk to St Ives along the coastal path or a 3 min train ride to St Ives too. Was really suprised how spacious the property was. It was lovely and clean and was well equipped with everything we need. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay, would definitely recommend the property but also aspects holidays too. Thank you so much.

A couple of minor issues but overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay would recommend

A lovely property which we used for a great week away. The house has a lovely garden, and has everything required to make it an easy week. Nice comfy beds, sofas and the kitchen was great with plenty of storage and equipment. The only thing I could say is that the bedrooms could do with some curtains to make it a bit easier to stay asleep in the summer months. There were a few toys, books etc for kids as well which can help save some of the packing for young families.

The house is in a brilliant location. The hill is steep, however it did get easier as the week went on. Tesco is just down the road if needed, and Becks Fish and Chip shop is a winner.

Lovely detached well furnished property with amazing views, parking and lovely garden, great sun trap! The upstairs bedroom may be better suited to older children/smaller teenagers because of head height in places and stairs. Although the view may be wasted on them... Plenty of space for extended family and choice of TV’s for different age groups. Everything you need for a lovely holiday in a beautiful area, with bars, restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. The beautiful beach is nearby, parking is restricted, the return walk is not easy!

Lovely house, nicely presented with good equipment and lots of creature comforts. A local and largish Tesco less than a mile away for everyday basics.

Not a lot in Carbis bay itself by way of good eating pubs or restaurants but it’s an excellent base to travel further afield providing you have a car. You get far more property/value for money by staying the mile and half outside St Ives and using the little local train which is a short, but VERY steep-hill walk away (be warned :)!! The train journey cost £1 each way and takes 3 minutes and is an absolute darling of a journey.

Didn’t try the fish and chips down the road as there was always a massive queue.

All in all a lovely break and we will definitely return

Lovely spacious property close to beach and surrounding areas with enclosed rear garden ideal for a family.

A fabulous, very comfortable and exceptionally clean property in a wonderful location, just an eight minute walk from the beautiful Carbis Bay beach. Really quiet location with great sea views from most windows. Everything is within walking distance; great coffee, ice cream and food served on the beach and water sports hire also available, tasty fish and chip take away just a ten minute walk away and Tescos on your doorstep. The twenty minute walk to St Ives along the coastal path is also lovely. We had a great week in Seascape and would love to return to this property.

The property exceeded our expectations. It is very spacious and immaculately presented with everything you could possibly need. The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing sea views from the front and a lovely large back garden

Seascape is such a great location - we often walked to the beach at Carbis Bay or walked to the station and took the train into St. Ives. And the local Tesco was nice and close for picking up groceries and essentials for our stay. This home was loved by the children and adults alike. We would happily return for a future holiday here!
