Moonbeams is a wonderful property, very spacious and well laid out. The views are truly spectacular. The position in Carbis Bay is ideal with good bus connections from the main road to St Ives and beyond.

Wonderful holiday. Spacious house . Comfortable beds. Lovely view. Close to beach and shop . Off road parking.

This is our third stay at Moonbeams. Fantastic house in a beautiful setting and easily accommodates 10 people. We had a lovely holiday and look forward to staying again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Moonbeams. We were 2 families & had so much space for the adults & children. We will definitely return. A truly memorable holiday.

This is a lovely big, well-equipped house which had plenty of space for our three generations. The boys of all ages enjoyed the games room. It is in a great location with fantastic views and has a short but steep walk down to the lovely Carbis Bay beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Moonbeams, the location is outstanding, with quite a steep walk down to the beach.Great location for our wedding at Carbis bay hotel, St Ives is just a walk away on the costal path.Just remember it is self catering so you will need everything, but the local Tesco is just at the top of the road. It is dog friendly but not dog secure as it is not gated .But saying that we would stay at this property again(9 adults & 1 dog).

Aspects Holidays provided us with excellent service. They were flexible and understanding when our booking had to be postponed for 18 months, honoured the agreed price and couldn’t have been more helpful. We had an emergency on the morning of the family wedding with no hot water and 8 people needing showers but through using the help line we had a plumber at the property within 30 minutes. We would not hesitate to use Aspects again. Thank you everyone.

Positive points: The property is a lovely size and spacious for 10 people/2 families. The drive is very steep so beware when driving in to save the bottom of your car. The views from the balcony are stunning you can see Carbis bay, Hayle and on towards Godrevy Beach. Walking down to Carbis bay is about 15 minutes but does take a little bit longer coming back as it is quite steep coming back and a few stops were needed but it does keep you fit. Becks local fish & chips shop we would all recommend.

Negative points: No oven gloves, I had to buy some, cleaning could have perhaps been a bit more thorough but I am sure this will be addressed. Dishwasher quite small for 10 people so extra washes were needed throughout the day. A washing line would be good.

Overall we all had an enjoyable stay and came back feeling refreshed.

Thank you for your review, we are glad that you found that this property worked well for your party. Those views are great, aren't they? We were sorry to hear that the oven gloves had been forgotten. Some housekeepers provide oven towels rather than oven gloves and these can sometimes be assumed to be a tea towel, but had we known that you did not have these, we would have sent some oven gloves over straight away and addressed any areas of cleanliness that you felt could be better. We would always expect the cleaning to be carried out to a very high standard, so please rest assured that this has been followed up with the housekeeper. Thank you for your other suggestions, which have been passed on to the owner. Thanks again for your comments and we hope to see you again. Tanya, Customer Services

Moonbeams is a beautiful house, in a perfect location with fabulous views. The photos on the website don’t do justice to the size of the property which is very spacious. Family or friends can spread out in the various areas. The house is clean and very well equipped with everything you would need, it even has cocktail making equipment. In the kitchen there are plentiful place settings, so if you forget to switch on the dishwasher the night before, you don’t need to wash up before breakfast. We made use of both balconies but sadly the weather wasn’t really hot enough to make use of the large beanbags for outside.

There is a very pleasant walk into St Ives along the coastal path. There are steps to get over the railway bridge though which would be an issue for wheelchairs or prams. Alternatively there is the train, which costs £1 each way and runs every half hour.

Take care around the extractor canopy over the hob. This was the only downside and we would love to return and would recommend Moonbeams and Aspects Holidays.

Our stay at moonbeams in Carbis Bay was a welcome change after the year that we all have had regarding COVID. The views and sea air was wonderful, moonbeams itself was delightful and comfortable with everything that was needed for a very pleasant stay. We will be back!

Great location and amazing views. Amenities close by for essentials and short distance from St Ives. House is very well equipped with everything you need.

If you need a spacious property with plenty of bedrooms all with they own bathrooms book moonbeams it’s great

Moonbeams is a lovely property in a fantastic location with spectacular views. Each of the 5 en suite rooms were spacious and comfortable. All of our guests for the week were impressed as soon as they walked in. The living space in this house was more than adequate for all of us. The short walk along the coastal path into St Ives, and the close proximity to top tourist spots like St Michaels Mount, Lands End and The Minack Theatre makes it an ideal base for the perfect holiday in the most beautiful part of the country.

We where a party of adults and 2 dogs, I was apprehensive at first as to whether we would be cramped, but to my pleasant surprise there was ample room for all of us and our 4 legged friends. All rooms where immaculate and exactly as described in the brochure, the kitchen in particular was exceptional with very sharp knives (a rarity) only downsize I would recommend investment in a decent can opener a very minor inconvenience. I would certainly stay here again if we visit Cornwall again with a large party, if a smaller group would certainly use Aspect Holidays for a suitable property.

Thank you for a wonderful experience

Moonbeams is an absolutely stunning property, with plenty of space for everyone, with breathtaking views over Carbis Bay from almost every room at the rear. The location is perfect and my family and I spent a wonderful week at Moonbeams!

We booked moonbeams as our Daughter was getting married at the Carbis Bay Hotel and as there was my wife and I plus grandson, my Mother, married daughter and partner, Son and wife and their two fitted are circumstances brilliantly. The place was big enough for the ten of us to move around without issues and with each bedroom having its own ensuite bathroom there were no worries at all.

Moonbeams is an amazing property. We stayed the week before Easter with extended family. There is more than enough room to have your own space if needed. The living accommodation, kitchen, outdoor space is just fabulous. The views over Carbis Bay are out of this world. Pure heaven. We were also blessed with good weather. The bedrooms are spacious each with its own bathroom. This is just a real gem of a place. Every need is catered for. The short walk to the beach is steep but didn’t deter us. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate in returning. We would definitely recommend this beautiful house. The only issue was that we did encounter plumbing issues with the loo in the 3rd floor en-suite bathroom. The issue is that there isn’t enough pressure to flush first time and I think it will continue to be a problem. Aspects dealt with our issue quickly and efficiently however I do think it may be an ongoing problem until rectified.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are glad to hear that you liked this fantastic property; those views certainly are breath-taking aren't they? To hopefully put your mind at rest, should you ever return; we have followed this up with the plumber, who has now fitted a special flush button and informed us that this should prevent an ongoing issue with it. We will of course continue to monitor this. Thanks for letting us know and for your patience while trades attended, and we hope to see you back soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Fantastic place to stay for all family, lots of space for everyone. Great TV games room for the younger members of the group. Be prepared to walk up some steep hills to get back to the house.

Having you guys on the end of an email or phone was fantastic. Your service and prompt replies were terrific. Say hi to Peter the plumber too :) Moonbeams is a magnificent house and perfectly laid out for our group; two couples, my dad and two dogs. Everyone had a sea view and space to chill. I loved how ‘at home’ we felt from the moment we walked in; everything we needed was there. It’s location was great too with plenty of dog-friendly beaches and restaurants close by. All in all we had a wonderful time.
