Godrevy Heights
Carbis Bay

£678 - £1995 per week
Book

Godrevy Heights is a stunning dormer bungalow with parking, sea views and a huge garden, on the owner's beautiful working farm. The property is set in an idyllic location, just a ten minute walk down the track to the main road in Carbis Bay. Although in a rural setting, you can relax and enjoy the fabulous sea views over to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond.

French doors lead to the sizeable garden where children and pets will love the considerable amount of space that they have to play in, while there's still enough to find your own little spot to sunbathe and read your favourite book. The renovation has comfort in mind and the master bedroom is a show stopper, along with the snug room for cosy winter film viewing. Godrevy Heights has so much to offer throughout the seasons. Perfect for families, walkers and great for wedding goers that may be in the County, plenty to see and do in the local area and then topping it off with the incredible countryside - Godrevy Heights ticks too many boxes to list.

Such a beautiful relaxing property with all your comfort and requirements met very spacious and clean. This was our second year spent at the property always sad when we have to leave

We had a wonderful week at Godrevy Heights. It is a well equipped, spacious and comfortable property which is light and airy inside. We loved the spectacular views over St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. The garden is a lovely enclosed space which is safe for children and dogs. Everything you need for a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing holiday.

This is our go to Aspects holiday cottage. We have booked it three times this year. For our family, the location, comfort, views and peace and quiet, alongside the animals and nature surrounding the house make it magical. The owners are unobtrusive, but on hand for any problems and a delight to deal with.

Second time at property and rebooked for next year lovely accommodation

Amazing cottage, fabulous views and very relaxing and scenic truly feel likes a Cornish holiday. Beautiful cottage, will definitely stay again in the future :)

A beautifully appointed cottage in an ideal location with far reaching views. Away from the bustle of the coast but everything is still close by. It’s on a working farm and we enjoyed watching the Devon cattle. The owners are very friendly but not intrusive. We had a lovely week and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.

Godrevy Heights is our family's go to holiday house to book for a restful and tranquil holiday. We love the peaceful location and amazing views. We keep coming back year after year. It is a little piece of heaven away from the crowds, but close enough to all the best dog and surf beaches. If you enjoy walking, there are many enjoyable walks right from your front door, including walking to St Ives, Carbis Bay beach and Porthkidney beach.

Great house, bigger than it appears in the photos...the kids loved the snug and their own space. The property is located perfectly to explore south cornwall without having to spend ages in the car. Great house would stay again and probably will

Location and view fabulous. Peaceful only the cows mooing and birds singing. Good enclosed garden for children and dogs. Parking for 2 cars. Nice holiday property

Godrevy heights is everything you expect . Ideal location if you don’t want to be in the busy town . Beautiful views . Great if you have dogs .

Amazing property with amazing views. Lovely location property was really well equipped and clean. Furnishings were beautiful as was the whole property. We had a great holiday with glorious weather. Have already booked for next year

The photos you see show exactly what the Godrevy is like. Modern design throughout, it is a stunning property away from all the hustle and bustle but handy to drive anywhere you need within a 5 - 10min time scale. Everything you can ever need in a self catering house has been carefully thought about making it a real home from home. The views are incredible looking across Carbis bay and the surrounding countryside. There is a large garden to play for children or pups which is all enclosed and safe. We absolutely loved this break and will certainly be going back with our family including the dog who was made to feel most welcome.

We come back time and time again to this gorgeous property. The location is stunning and perfect for the walkers, runners and surfers in the family, as great beaches and locations on your doorstep.

Love the cows and wildlife too. We love bird watching and it has been a joy to watch the swallows, buzzards and owls too in the evening.

The peace and quiet so calming. We made the most of the hot weather by using the new veranda everyday and late into the evening, such a great addition to the garden.

A very comfortable property with excellent views, a large garden and attractive patio area. A good variety of dog walks from the house and plenty of places to visit and excellent sandy or surfing beaches nearby.

Our second visit to this wonderful property and looking forward to a third! You could not wish for a better self catering cottage. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and the views well I could look at them all day everyday and never tire of them. Perfectly located for visiting West Cornwall, the peace and quiet makes it a perfect haven. Can’t fault Godrevy Heights, it’s perfect!

We loved our stay at Godrevy Heights and are already thinking about when we can go back. The facilities were excellent, location was fantastic and peaceful but close to everything you need. We've stayed in quite a few places in Cornwall now and I can honestly say that this property was by far the best. The farm and the views were beautiful across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. Booking and arrival was simple and efficient. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The log burner was a real treat on the chilly evenings. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Godrevy Heights and Aspects Holidays to anybody.

Lovely home well equipped lovely owner could not have wished for a better place to stay it was like home from home

Can't wait to return ??

Our third visit to this wonderfully comfortable and well equipped house. We love the location, views and total relaxing environment of Godrevy Heights, and we are always so sad to go home. Have already booked for next year! Just to also note, we have been so impressed with extra measures the owners and all the local shops, restaurants and the council etc, have put in place to ensure safety for all since the pandemic. Well done Cornwall, we felt safe and well cared for.

Godrevy Heights is a beautiful place to stay. It has everything you could possibly want. The owners are very friendly, the views are stunning and the house itself is perfect. Bliss !!!!

Lovely cosy and very comfortable cottage. Fantastic views from every window, lovely big garden for the dog and lots of peace and quiet. Lovely!

Could not have asked for a better location. Amazing views of the bay and Godrevy lighthouse. Easy to get to St Ives and the surrounding area. Very dog friendly, plenty of garden to run around. House was fantastically clean and well equipped, just fabulous. The owners were very friendly and left us cake, flowers and eggs. We loved it! Would definitely make a return visit.

Godrevy heights is everything you expect and more . Owners were lovely leaving us with fresh eggs homemade heather cake . Can’t wait to go back next year .

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are amazing, and the cottage is really spacious. The whole kitchen/dining/living area is very roomy with the 2 armchairs in the bay windows giving plenty of seating space for everyone. We’re a tall family and some places can feel quite cramped but this one was perfect! The eggs from the farm were the best. Bit of a steep climb back from the beach but that’s the only downside.

Godrevy Heights is a fabulous property, fully stocked with everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. Lovely touch with the fresh scone, milk and eggs upon arrival. Lots of space. Our kids loved it.

Our only issues were the cows as the fencing does not have mesh so our small dogs were not secure or safe and could get under the fencing both to the cows and the lane leading up to the house. The other is the 2 ish mile road leading to the property. This is a tiny one car road (lane) and can barely fit a car down. It is not only narrow but with lots of bends and very few stop points. We had a brand new large vehicle and we were anxious every time we took it out. Once on the main roads it was fine but it did spoil elements of the holiday as you are so remote that you need to use your car to get to even a shop. For this reason we would not stay again which is a shame as the house is amazing.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your really helpful comments and we are sorry to hear that while you loved this property, there were a couple of things that would prevent you staying again. Being on a working farm, you do have some friendly cows for neighbours, which for many can really add to the holiday memories, but is certainly something to consider if you are bringing a dog. The property is fenced but not fully enclosed, so we ask within the property information on the website, to supervise dogs at all times, but upon reading your comments, we agree that this could be clearer so that guests who are bringing a dog have more information to decide on its suitability given who you have for 'neighbours'. The road leading to the farm is a typical Cornish country road; it is a fully tarmacked, single track road with passing places, which fits cattle lorries and tractors down, so is wide enough for larger vehicles, but if you are not used to these types of roads and the need to sometimes negotiate some reversing to allow for oncoming traffic, it can feel a little daunting. It is something that you soon get used to and we hope that many will agree is completely worth the drive for the opportunity to stay in this lovely property in a beautiful rural location, with those lovely distant sea views. Tanya, Customer Services

We love this beautiful, cosy house and it’s peaceful location. We booked it twice this year and have already booked twice again for 2020!

The owners are a delight, the location in an area we adore. It is so thoughtfully equipped, has amazing views, comfortable beds and lots of great walks on your doorstep.

Cannot recommend this house or Aspects holidays enough.

Godrevy Heights is a beautiful home in a stunning location. The owners are extremely welcoming and have thought of everything to make your holiday a home from home and relaxing.

Wow, what a wonderful property, you couldn’t ask for anything more. The views are spectacular and the property is a gem. Spotlessly clean and so well looked after it is amazing. You just won’t want to leave, we didn’t!!

Godrevy Heights is a beautiful well equipped, extremely clean home from home cottage, with great attention to detail, everything you need and more, and we really appreciated the eggs, bread, milk and flowers when we arrived from the thoughtful owners.

The position of the cottage is ideal for touring around West Cornwall but also situated away from it all down country lanes with lovely countryside or sea views, extremely peaceful and quiet, such a great place to recharge the batteries, and a lovely big garden and plenty of parking. Highly recommended. Just perfect!

Godrevy Heights was a wonderful, cosy, well equipped house with the most amazing panoramic views.

The owners were so warm and friendly on arrival with cake, fresh farm eggs and flowers.

We loved this house so much. This particular spot in Cornwall is our favourite and to have found a house with those views and with everything you could possibly need for an amazing stay, was a real bonus.

Wonderful view from the kitchen. We really enjoyed watching the sunrise while having a breakfast.

Wonderful location & property, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday would recommend to family & friends

Highly recommend this lovely bungalow. It is very well equipped and the furnishings are good quality. The beds are wonderful and we all slept like logs. The views are stunning and it is close to all the major beaches and tourist spots. Just a note the walk back from the beach is very steep. We had a wonderful holiday.

Great place to stay

This is a fantastic cottage, with everything you would need, stunning views somewhere to really relax, enjoyed every minute.

Fantastic views, fantastic property, attention to detail and very local to all places.

A perfect holiday location with wonderful sea views Only 5 min by car to the stunning Carbis Bay and a short drive into St Ives The property was spotlessly clean and exceeded our expectations Aspect holidays are a pleasure to deal with and we have already booked for th same 2 weeks next year

Wonderful location with very good quality accommodation Perfect for walks, or just lazing around. Surrounded by a farm with views to the coast.

The property which has been recently refurbished to a high standard is in a quiet location with lovely views and met our family needs perfectly.

A very well appointed comfortable modern holiday home with great views and a lovely owner!

This house is just amazing! Great location for a little hideaway but not too far to the busy areas of Carbis Bay and St Ives.

Great for the dogs with the surrounding land and utility area for them to dry off whilst you relax in the open plan living kitchen and dining area, which is very inviting and comfortable with log burner and all the appliances you need.

Perfect stay in a prefect house!! 5*
