Choose a holiday in Carbis Bay and you’ll be spoilt by endless views and a sweeping coastline. Spend your days relaxing on the beach, or walk the coastal path into St Ives. Located between Hayle and St Ives, you’ll be spoilt for places to visit, from endless golden beaches, to Cornish cafes and family attractions.

Top tip

Carbis Bay beach

A holiday in Carbis Bay means you’ll have one of the most beautiful beaches just a short walk away from your holiday cottage. With crystal-clear turquoise waters, enjoy swimming and other watersports, with kayaks and paddleboards available to hire from the watersports centre at the beach. You’ll also be in close proximity to the golden sandy beaches at Lelant and Hayle and the popular beaches in St Ives; you could try a different beach every day of the week!

Walks in Carbis Bay

For nature lovers, the Steeple Woods Nature Reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife and plants. Relax and explore the forty acre space which overlooks St Ives.

For the more adventurous soul, the St Michael’s Way is a 12.5 mile trek starting at nearby Lelant, and finishing up at the stunning St Michael’s Mount in Marazion. If the walk back doesn’t seem too appealing, you can always ride the open-top bus all the way back!

This was our third year running staying at the property. Despite the week not being brilliant wether wise we had a good time again in such a lovely location.

Lovely flat beautiful view very clean and the flowers are a nice touch

Very comfortable apartment in an ideal location. This was our second stay there and will certainly consider booking again during 2022.

Pleasant apartment, great location, all i needed for my stay.

Apartment as lovely as ever easy access to St Ives can't wait to come again in the spring

Loved this apartment. Had everything we needed. Lovely flat with great views from inside and on the balcony. Great location. So handy for the train into St Ives. Can't wait to return to Cornwall and would definitely book this again. The welcome pack was a nice touch and the fresh flowers were really lovely.

A lovely, excellently located accommodation within 5 minutes of the beach using the path at the side of the accommodation.

Would happily stay there again. The extra support of the Aspects Customer services team to have some special items (wanted some champagne & strawberries) available on arrival was exemplary.

Great Apartment for a base the views are fantastic.

Lovely stay, perfect location for train or walk to St Ives. Looking forward to the next stay!

Such a beautiful apartment with a lovely balcony where you can sit and listen to the sound of the sea. The apartment was very clean, spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for either a day on Carbis Bay beach which is only 5 mins walk or catch the train into st Ives but there’s also a well used coastal path if you want to walk. I can’t wait to return one day .

Great apartment, met all our needs and along with the weather (10th - 17th October 2020) gave my wife and myself a wonderful week away.

The apartment is in a very convenient spot for the beach and train station, with a good cut-through, and is spacious with lovely sea views, although we couldn’t make use of the balcony due to the weather conditions. The cleanliness was of an extremely high standard, and both bathrooms newly decorated.
Getting to St Ives by train or the coastal path was easy, and there were many good eateries, including The Rajpoot, The Bier Huis (for Sunday lunch) and La Casita in Carbis Bay. My only reservation about the property is that I found the mattress very firm, and the settees uncomfortable, but that is just personal preference, and didn’t spoil my stay. We had a lovely week.

Lovely apartment, excellent views, everything we needed was there. Hopefully we will return

Flat very comfortable beautiful view hope to go back next year .

Lovely apartment with brilliant sea views.

This is a lovely apartment, well furnished with modern bathrooms. The location is superb especially so close to the railway line (easy acces to St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole) but the beach at Carbis Bay is so delightful there is not much reason to go anywhere else - especially if the weather is as nice as it was for us.

Lovely apartment with views over Carbis Bay and within a couple of minutes walk of the St Ives-St Erth (Penzance) train line. Highly recommended

Excellent apartment felt like home would highly recommend

Lovely place to stay, our second time here. Peace and quiet here yet within half an hours stroll from St Ives. The train station is less than a 5 minute walk if you want to take it easy £2 return fare, no tying to find a parking space in St Ives. We find Aspect holidays staff very friendly and happy to help, would certainly use them again.

We had a wonderful stay relaxing from the moment we stepped inside the apartment. Parking was great as was location. It was a 30 mins walk on the coastal path and 4 mins on the train £1 each way . The apartment is spacious and very well appointed. Carbis Bay beach is amazing. Family friendly with a wii and games books etc. Fresh flowers and shortbread biscuits were a nice touch Look forward to our next visit.

Lovely apartment, very spacious, great views. Highly recommend a stay here.

This is the third time at the riviera apartments. Twice at number 5 both times brilliant .Hoping to make it again next year ??
