Thank you very much for making my holiday complete.

We had a fantastic week at this apartment and would definitely recommend it. We loved sitting outside on the terrace watching the seals playing in the sea. The apartment is located perfectly for a walk into St Ives or to catch the train. Hayle is a short drive away and perfect for a long walk on the beach or for surfing. Would recommend Becks Fish & Chips, The Badger Inn at Lelant and Cove Cafe on Hayle beach. Can't wait to go again!

Very comfortable apartment which has also been redecorated since my previous stay. Fantastic views and close to the station beach and SW Coast Path.

What a lovely spot, the perfect view over the bay and beyond. Easy to explore with the (very quiet) train so close by.

3 Carrack Gladden offered wonderful views, a comfortable nights sleep, a super balcony and a fantastic base for exploring the South West Coastal Path in each direction. Our time went all too quickly & the only thing to ease that End Of Holiday feeling was knowing that we will endeavour to return as soon as we are able to.

This is our second stay and we will be back again. The apartment is nicely situated with exceptional views of the bay, St Ives and Hayle beach. A 25 minute walk into St Ives or a £2 return train, train station close by, (you cannot hear the trains from apartment.) Although a short steep walk up and down, we were not disappointed with the beach. Opening the windows listening to the waves was a treat first thing in the morning.

We had a fantastic stay In beautiful Carbis bay. The apartment is ideal for a couple, well equipped & amazing views. A few tweaks & TLC is needed inside but we had a lovely holiday & would return.

We were delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time here. Those views are certainly hard to take your eyes away from! The owners usually keep everything well maintained there, but we will pass on your feedback for their consideration. Thanks for letting us know. Tanya, Customer Services

The views are outstanding and the location great being close to the beach and train station for easy access into st ives. The cleanliness was poor, very dusty. We found the sofa uncomfortable and bed/pillows too soft, i don’t like two singles pushed together a kingsize bed bed would be better and could be done with the sofa being a sofa bed! We couldn’t relax as we just couldn’t get comfortable so spent more time at our family members apartment just up the road from us which was luxurious. Not worth the money even in peak season.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you experienced some cleanliness issues during your stay, had we known we would have been more than happy to rectify these areas of concern during your stay, but thank you for letting us know now and we will certainly monitor this moving forward.

It can be difficult to find furnishings that suit all guest preferences, and it is a shame that you found the sofa and bed to be uncomfortable. In regards to the bed, it is advertised as a zip and link king bed in order to accommodate multiple sleeping arrangements - such as couples or friends. We are sorry that this wasn't too your liking but your feedback has been passed across to the owner of the property to take into consideration for future changes.

We are incredibly sad to hear that 3 Carrack Gladden wasn't the property for you, but we hope we can welcome you back to Cornwall again soon. Katy, Customer Services.

Great place to stay, short walk to beach, where u could hire sups an kayaks, train station behind apartment but never heard the trains, apartment had everything u needed. lovely coastal walk to St ives

Overall an enjoyable break. Will definitely go back to the area again at some point.

3 Carrack Gladden is a good apartment with fabulous location directly overlooking Carbis Bay beach. Excellent ground floor location. Access to Carbis railway station just a 2 minute walk over the bridge. Comfortable facilities. Would reccommend the apartment & book again in the future.

3 carrick gladden apartment is perfect in every way for a peaceful holiday in an ideal location the train station at the rear of the property is perfect for getting around with st ives only four minutes away but don’t worry you can’t hear the trains in the apartment it was our first time at Carbis bay and we loved it so much that we have booked to go back next year

Fantastic location & outdoor seating area is a bonus with fabulous views of the beach. Property does however need updating as it's tired in places, in spite of this we had a great holiday & didn't spend that much time in the apartment.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear if areas were looking a little tired. A lot can happen in a property in a short space of time, so we will check this on the next inspection and pass on any suggestions to the property owner. We are glad to hear that you had a great time here though and hopefully we will have the opportunity to welcome you back here again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Veranda at apartment brilliant views incredible

The view is fabulous. So handy for the train into st Ives. You need to be fit to go up and down to the beach but worth it when you are down there. Enjoy

Excellent apartment with amazing views. Everything you need and more in the apartment. Just check if the building work at the property in front is complete. We had loud building machinery, angle grinders. dust everywhere, lots of delivery lorries and work vans. Unable to enjoy sitting outside in the lovely weather.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are pleased to confirm that this work was completed in July 2022. We are so sorry that this had been going on during your time there. It had been very intermittent work, so very difficult to predict and know if there would ever be anything taking place there. We are glad that you still enjoyed your time here and we hope that we may be able to welcome you back one day, when you can fully enjoy everything that this property has to offer. Tanya, Customer Services

excellent location but poor cleanliness of the apartment.

Fantastic sea view and apartment. 1 minute walk to train station. Definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend 3 Carrick Gladden and we are booking it again for next year. It is brilliant for art students tired Office workers and stresses melt away.

Nice flat with terrace, overlooking the beach and with excellent views across the estuary. A few minutes walk to Carbis Bay rail station

Our third stay at this apartment, and we have already booked again for September 2022! Fab views and convenient for the train station.

Great apartment with outstanding location, excellent views, close to the beach and adjacent to the railway station.

We enjoyed our week here - a fantastic base for exploring Carbis Bay, St Ives and wider Cornwall. The apartment had everything we needed, and being on the ground floor was nice. The patio doors onto the outside area were lovely in the evenings, and having somewhere to sit and watch the ocean was great. The train line is opposite the apartment but you cannot hear any noise inside. You can’t go wrong with £1 per person into St Ives!

Well-situated apartment; handy for the train station. Amenities close by - Tesco, chemist, cafe.

Ideally situated for the beach and coastal path. The Rail Station is next door but don't be put off as the noise is extremely limited and it allows for easy, cheap access to St.Ives.

Excellent location for a stay at Carbis Bay. Train to Penzance and St Ives frequent and good value for money.View over the bay hard to beat !!

A tired and dated apartment offering basic accommodation, however it's views of the bay are lovely.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your review. The views over Carbis Bay beach are incredible from 3 Carrack Gladden; we are glad you enjoyed them. We are sorry to read though, that you felt the apartment was tired and dated. Throughout our portfolio, we do our very best to offer a variety of properties that will suit everyone's needs and budgets. Along with this, we also include as many photos as we can to the website so that guests are aware of what to expect when arriving. The properties should however always be well maintained, so we do hope that everything was as you had expected from the photos provided. We will however check everything on our next inspection and pass on any suggestions that we have, including guests' feedback, to the property owners, for their consideration. Thank you for taking the time to send in your comments and we hope that we will see you back in Cornwall soon. Ben, Customer Services

Excellent position with stunning views also parking was excellent at the back of the apartment will definitely be back!

Lovely apartment in excellent location. Home from home comforts. Train service into St Ives so no need for car. £2 return excellent value. Lovely walks both ways.

Amazing view, comfortable bed, can be noisy from apartment above, could do with upgrading in the kitchen cutlery/crockery department.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your helpful comments. We just wanted to try and reassure you as much as possible, that the kind of noise that you experienced is not the norm. We understand that a carpet was being fitted upstairs, causing some noise for 1 day that was above what would be expected from being in an apartment. The housekeeper has also been in touch to inform us that she was chatting with the property owner about your comments on the kitchen cutlery and crockery so that any necessary replacements could be organised. Thanks again and we're glad that you otherwise enjoyed your time here. Tanya, Customer Services

A great little place to stop close to everything you need.

Our second visit to this apartment and have already booked again for next year. Lovely view across Carbis Bay. Well equipped and quiet.

Beautiful location . Views over Carbis Bay spectacular. Unfortunately there were comfort issues with the property. The bed we found had little support and was lumpy. The couch in the sitting area also did not offer good support. Aspect did however help by providing 2 mattress toppers for the duration of our stay and replaced the clapped out pillows. The bathroom area was damp and the smell lingered in the hall and was only helped by opening bedroom and sitting room windows. We also had a problem with the fridge as the door seal was not good and the freeze box desperately needed defrosted.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We were sorry to hear that you had not found the comfort of the sofa and mattress to your liking. These can be very dependent on personal preference and with only a couple of mentions of the mattress in previous feedback and no previous mention of the sofa being uncomfortable, the owner was not looking to replace either of those items at that time. We are glad to hear that the mattress toppers and new pillows helped, and we will continue to monitor for further feedback and discuss it with the owner again if we start to receive more comments on these areas. We will inform the owner of the issue that you had with the fridge so that this can be investigated and addressed if there is an issue with the seal. Thank you for letting us know. Tanya, Customer Services

Lovely views, comfortable apartment. Parking can be a problem. Patio is north facing hence usually in shade. Very steep hill down to beach. No pub close to property.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are so sorry that there was some confusion with the parking. Having been able to look fully in to your comments and the phone conversation that you had with a member of staff, it was communicated that the parking is across from the garages as opposed to park across the garages; we are so sorry if this had not come across clearly on the phone call, and in hindsight, we should have stated 'park along the wall' to make it clearer, as is stated within the printed arrival information. We just wanted to try and reassure you that parking is not ordinarily a problem here, there is only 1 permit allocated per property, and parking is monitored there. We have kept a close eye on this since then, with no further reports of a lack of parking, so we can only apologise if there had for any reason, been too many cars parking along there the week that you stayed. We do hope that you still had a great time here. Tanya, Customer Services

A lovely apartment superb views close to St Ives train very useful to travel on only £2 return and prompt service. If you do not want to be bothered by seagulls banging on the window then do not feed them.

Our stay at this Carbis Bay apartment has been most enjoyable. The fantastic view across Carbis Bay to St Ives, is wonderful, quite the best we've ever experienced.. The railway station is 4 minutes' walk away and the journey to St Ives takes 3 minutes and costs £1 each way!

We have no hesitation in recommending this property. HOWEVER, it must be stressed that this property is situated on VERY STEEP hill and in our opinion is quite unsuitable for elderly or disabled people. There is no 'evening stroll' without the car!

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed this property. There is a bit of a steep downhill walk to get down to the beach and a short but uphill walk to get to the train station which can take you into St Ives, or in the opposite direction of St Erth so that you can explore areas further afield. As with many properties in St Ives and Carbis Bay, due to their hilly nature, it is worth chatting to our team before booking, to check on suitability if you have any mobility issues or just struggle with hills. We are glad that you agreed that the views more than make up for this though and we hope to see you back here soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for next year

Great view from a warm and well equipped apartment.

Perfect retreat for couple's. Perfect location, train into St.Ives is £2.00 return and takes less than 3 minutes. Easy to get to pretty much anywhere from here.

Want to keep it a secret!.....

This is the only place we love! We would fully recommend Flat 3, Carrack Gladden for a peaceful holiday, in lovely surroundings, and such stunning views.

Excellent location for a superb beach and the train line was fantastic to get about only used my car twice. Very peaceful and relaxing holiday will definitely be going back.

Fantastic views of the bay

Outstanding panoramic views over the bay, St Ives and Hayle

Easy to find. Good parking. Excellent accommodation.

Fantastic little apartment with stunning views down to the beach. Well equipped and comfortable. There is a two minute walk down hill to the beach and about 45 minutes walk into St Ives along the coast.

as above - best view in Carbis Bay!

Ideal for a ‘Short Break’

Well equipped apartment with lovely views of bay, convenient position to travel around area by car, train or coastal path.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location, beautiful beaches and great transport connections. Will recommend and will be back!

A well equipped apartment for two, in a good location, with the most spectacular view.

We fully recommend Aspects Holidays, and the Apartment for a wonderful holiday, in a stunning apartment, and a beautiful area.

A wonderful location, fantastic views and all the home comforts.

Fabulous sea views in this delightful tastefully decorated apartment. Located within a stones throw of the beach and the station yet is lovely and quiet. We would stay here again.

Stunning views over the beach at Carbis Bay and train station just a one minute walk away for quick and easy access to St Ives. Great apartment for a couple.

Amazing view, excellent level access, an enjoyable break.

Good location, and access to surrounding area

Great location

Location & view is perfect but visitors need to be aware of noise from flat above.
