Based right in the centre of Cornwall you are in a perfect location to explore both coasts of Cornwall, with Falmouth and Megavissey on the south coast and Newquay and Padstow on the north. If you venture down to the far west, you’re still only a 30-40 minute drive away to explore the cobbled streets of St Ives and the famous St Michael’s Mount.
The city is a hive of activity, with live music performances taking place regularly in Lemon Quay and the surrounding parks and gardens. Visit on a Wednesday or Saturday and enjoy the local farmer’s market in the centre of town, promoting a range of local Cornish goods. Truro’s City of Lights is a fantastic annual event and we recommend visiting in November when hundreds of paper lantern creations parade through streets lined with spectators.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you had found the road to be noisy during your time here, and the mattresses uncomfortable. Whilst this property is on the main road through Trispen; it is a quiet village that usually does not have a large volume of traffic passing through it, so this is not something that we have ever experienced or had feedback on before. We will monitor this for now and if it is needed, we will look to add something to the description, but hopefully, it was a bit of a one off. We will also monitor the feedback regarding the mattresses as it can be very difficult to find a mattress that will suit everyone and it is not something that has been raised here before. It was disappointing to read that they were not to your preference though and thank you for letting us know. Tanya, Customer Services
We loved our stay here. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage very modern and clean. In a very good location for exploring Cornwall. Pity the local pub is currently shut down.
Mrs Humphries Aug 2019
Absolutely loved our weeks stay at this cottage. Set in a great location for travelling and driving to see all parts of Cornwall. The cottage had everything we needed and more and the cleanliness was 5 star. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Mrs Morris Jul 2019
Centrally placed for easy access to anywhere in the County, and if the weather turns somewhat inclement there are plenty of games and videos to keep people amused. And we must not forget the excellent shop across the road.

A gem of a cottage Very convenient for both North & South coasts. Local convenience store was very handy. Shame the local pub has closed
Mr Clifford Sep 2018
Wonderful cottage, in an ideal location. Modern and well equipped and comfortable. Very easy to find by road, even if you've never been to Cornwall before. The fact it was dog friendly too made it an excellent holiday.
Mr Price Aug 2018
We had a lovely week’s holiday in Ebrenn Cottage. Beautifully clean, simply decorated and well equipped.Excellent location, near to A39/A30 yet quiet. Village store great for essentials. Cream tea on arrival much appreciated, thank you
Miss Skillett Aug 2018
We were extremely pleased with the location and facilities provided, which exceeded our expectations. We were the first to rent this property and there were teething problems with the internet but they did not detract from our overall satisfaction. It should be noted that the pub next door has been closed since February, with no indication of when if ever it will re-open, which was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the width of the gateway into the drive was too narrow for my medium saloon car but of course I was able to park it on the road next to the house (there is a wooden telegraph pole which makes access narrower than the gate width).

It's great to hear just how much you enjoyed this lovely property and thanks for your understanding and patience with the Wi-Fi. Thank you also for your helpful comments about the gate entrance to the drive; we will add a note to the website to help make it clearer that it may be a bit tight for some vehicles and the option of parking on the road outside the house. We hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back here again in the future. Tanya, Customer services
