We loved our stay here. The cottage is beautiful, clean, extremely well equipped and in a great location to explore Cornwall. We will definitely book again. Lovely touch on arrival of tea and biscuits :)

August 2022

We had a lovely stay at Ebrenn Cottage. The cottage was well equipped, clean and tidy. Also the beds are very comfortable. The pub next door was disappointing but doesn't affect the cottage. We would definitely recommend.

Holidays in Truro

The capital of Cornwall, Truro is a bustling city lined with shops and restaurants. The city is also home to the Hall for Cornwall, a fantastic venue for music and theatre, as well as a cinema and the beautiful Truro Cathedral.  Although a busy city, holiday cottages in Truro are perfectly situated for getting to all of the major towns, villages and attractions in Cornwall.

Based right in the centre of Cornwall you are in a perfect location to explore both coasts of Cornwall, with Falmouth and Megavissey on the south coast and Newquay and Padstow on the north. If you venture down to the far west, you’re still only a 30-40 minute drive away to explore the cobbled streets of St Ives and the famous St Michael’s Mount.

Did you know...

The city of Truro began as an Iron Age settlement?

A hive of activity

The city is a hive of activity, with live music performances taking place regularly in Lemon Quay and the surrounding parks and gardens. Visit on a Wednesday or Saturday and enjoy the local farmer’s market in the centre of town, promoting a range of local Cornish goods. Truro’s City of Lights is a fantastic annual event and we recommend visiting in November when hundreds of paper lantern creations parade through streets lined with spectators.

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities you could ask for. Excellent location for all the attractions and day outs. We had a lovely stay and will be back.

Loved everything about our holiday. We will most certainly be back. Thank you so much

Perfect cottage. Great pub next door. Ideal location for travelling around the area.

Great cosy cottage. Bedsvso comfy which is so important when your on holiday.

An ideal base for visiting the many attractions in Cornwall. The accommodation feels like a true 'home from home' with a high standard of comfort, decor, furnishings and fittings. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.

Perfect cottage in the perfect location. Everywhere within a 20-40 minute drive. Loved it and would recommend to anyone

We loved our stay at Ebrenn Cottage. It’s located in a small quiet village which was perfect for us. It was amazingly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very homely feel to it. Would definitely recommend to small families/couples.

My partner and I had the best time at Ebrenn Cottage! The house is very well equipped and we had milk on the fridge!! I love how we had our own parking! I recommend staying here! Everything was pristine and very clean!

Trispen is a little known village consequently ,many people haven't heard of it so it is quiet and an excellent base for exploring Cornwall. You have some great pubs to visit or collect takeaways, The Rising Sun, 4miles away. The Plume of Feathers at Mitchell,6miles away. You are within easy driving distance of all the attractions Cornwall has to offer. Have a truly great time.

We have been coming to Cornwall now for a few years, and the last two at Ebrenn, and we wished we had known about it earlier . Trispen is a wonderful "staging post" for exploring Cornwall, no matter what your interests are ,you are never more than an hour's drive from virtually all the attractions...

Wonderful cottage in a great location really comfortable and fantastic to return to after a busy day out and about. Modern and fresh but still keeps the cottage charm. Aspect holidays have been brilliant to deal with from start to finish and have been nominated as our new Cornwall holiday go to company!

Clean equipment all available. Modern. Outside noise annoying beds uncomfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you had found the road to be noisy during your time here, and the mattresses uncomfortable. Whilst this property is on the main road through Trispen; it is a quiet village that usually does not have a large volume of traffic passing through it, so this is not something that we have ever experienced or had feedback on before. We will monitor this for now and if it is needed, we will look to add something to the description, but hopefully, it was a bit of a one off. We will also monitor the feedback regarding the mattresses as it can be very difficult to find a mattress that will suit everyone and it is not something that has been raised here before. It was disappointing to read that they were not to your preference though and thank you for letting us know. Tanya, Customer Services

We loved our stay here. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage very modern and clean. In a very good location for exploring Cornwall. Pity the local pub is currently shut down.

Absolutely loved our weeks stay at this cottage. Set in a great location for travelling and driving to see all parts of Cornwall. The cottage had everything we needed and more and the cleanliness was 5 star. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Centrally placed for easy access to anywhere in the County, and if the weather turns somewhat inclement there are plenty of games and videos to keep people amused. And we must not forget the excellent shop across the road.

Lovely Cottage and Great Location

A gem of a cottage Very convenient for both North & South coasts. Local convenience store was very handy. Shame the local pub has closed

Wonderful cottage, in an ideal location. Modern and well equipped and comfortable. Very easy to find by road, even if you've never been to Cornwall before. The fact it was dog friendly too made it an excellent holiday.

We had a lovely week’s holiday in Ebrenn Cottage. Beautifully clean, simply decorated and well equipped.Excellent location, near to A39/A30 yet quiet. Village store great for essentials. Cream tea on arrival much appreciated, thank you

We were extremely pleased with the location and facilities provided, which exceeded our expectations. We were the first to rent this property and there were teething problems with the internet but they did not detract from our overall satisfaction. It should be noted that the pub next door has been closed since February, with no indication of when if ever it will re-open, which was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the width of the gateway into the drive was too narrow for my medium saloon car but of course I was able to park it on the road next to the house (there is a wooden telegraph pole which makes access narrower than the gate width).

It's great to hear just how much you enjoyed this lovely property and thanks for your understanding and patience with the Wi-Fi. Thank you also for your helpful comments about the gate entrance to the drive; we will add a note to the website to help make it clearer that it may be a bit tight for some vehicles and the option of parking on the road outside the house. We hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back here again in the future. Tanya, Customer services
