A throughly lovely family house with beautiful views across the harbour.

This property is amazing. We have stayed in a few properties in Falmouth but this is the best by far! Don’t let the stairs put you off it’s worth it. Spacious rooms, comfy beds & fantastic views from the large balcony/patio. From the front door it’s a few steps & you are on to the high street though once in the house you wouldn’t think so - it was very quiet & peaceful. My husband commented that it’s like someone turned his ears off! A few steps in the other direction & you are at the waters edge. Perfect location. Would definitely stay again!

The property itself was lovely with that amazing view from the balcony and the rear windows. Was a bit concerned about parking but there is a carpark that is literally at the bottom of the alley where you can see your vehicle from the property, parking was £25 a week which will hopefully be reimbursed soon. The location was perfect, plenty to do straight from the doorstep, loads of shops, every type of eatery you could imagine (would recommend Pennycomequick for a delicious steak!), lots of places to visit by ferry, we did St Mawes, Flushing and Malpas (recommended Heron Inn), purchased a fal mussel card for a 3 day visitor pass (you can choose longer or shorter) but was just over £50 for the 2 of us and you can use as much as you want. Only gripe we had was that it was pretty noisy into the early hours and had to shut all the bedroom doors to the front of the property to get some sleep. Think it was probably because unbeknown to us, we'd booked on freshers week so was particularly busy in the evenings, mornings were nice and quiet though! ?? We only booked for 4 nights and normally venture out to different locations every day when we stay in Cornwall but we found we didn't need to go anywhere as there was so much to do there.

Not worth the money, have stayed in better places in Falmouth for less money. Stains on sofas. View was very nice

Had the most amazing stay at Thalassa. Excellent property, fantastic views and central. Will go back to Falmouth for sure and hopefully stay at Thalassa.

This house is amazing! The terrace is a beautiful addition and an easy way to spend an evening. The house is well equipped and perfectly located. The stairs up to the property are steep and I would bear this in mind when packing your case! We are booking to stay again!

Fantastic holiday accommodation right in the centre (high street) of Falmouth. Very clean, modern and comfortable (and warm as we visited when it was quite chilly outside). Lots of room to accommodate eight guests, fabulous balcony with views of the harbour and most windows overlook the sea too. Lots of steps to get to accommodation, but well worth it when you do (don’t let that put you off).

The house has a great atmosphere, commented on by both my daughters. The kitchen is top notch and in better weather, the decking overlooking the bay would be a fantastic place for meals and drinks (wether in Jan not so conducive to sitting out sadly). Bedrooms / beds very comfortable and bathrooms, while a little quirky, with steps up to showers / baths, were also excellent. Appreciated the 'welcome pack'.

Great location in the middle of Falmouth. Per the description, there are a number of steep steps to access the house, but for us this was no problem (Falmouth is hilly, so this goes with the territory). Excellent communication with the local Aspects office, re parking.

We stayed at Thalassa for a long weekend in October. The view from the kitchen, terrace and two of the bedrooms is amazing! We loved how convenient it was as it is right in the centre of town, although it was not at all noisy. The property does have a steep internal staircase, so bear this in mind when choosing which luggage to bring. The property itself is very well equipped, comfortable, beautifully decorated and very spacious. Although we were a group of four, a larger group would have had ample space in this deceptively large property.
Having a big outside space with such a stunning view was fantastic. We were lucky to have good weather during our visit, so we were able to sit outside at one of the two seating areas. We have all said that we would definitely stay at this lovely property again when we next return to Falmouth.

This was our second stay at Thalassa. The location is perfect, the views are perfect, we didn't want to leave.

The whole apartment is very spacious, well kitted out kitchen. Perfect for families or upto three couples.

Being located in the centre of Falmouth is great. So many places to eat and drink (as I detailed in my previous review and my opinion stands).

The accommodation was fabulous and the welcoming pack was a lovely personal touch. Such a wonderful view of Falmouth harbour from the balcony and it was great being in the centre of town.

The property was in an excellent location and well equipped. It was was also clean tidy and tastefully decorated. On the downside the stairs into the property are very steep and parking may cause an issue. I would recommend this property.

We had a lovely holiday as a group of 8. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out and not be on top of each other. The pictures were representative and everything was as we expected it to be. The location of the flat was great, very close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. There were lots of steps to the flat, however this was fine as we are all fit and healthy! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back ourselves.

Probably one of the best private balconies in Falmouth that looks over the estuary. Everything there you need and all very new. Location, excellent. Be prepared for 38 steps up to the apartment and the odd bath and shower setup.

Owner paid for the weekly car parking in local council long stay. Just park is the best way to remove any daily parking hassle.

This is a beautiful house with a stunning view and right in the centre of Falmouth. Step out of the door and right next to you there's a pasty shop, fresh crab sandwiches and 'The Wheel House' crab and oyster bar which is heaven. Be prepared to climb many stairs both to and in the property! And parking is a bit tricky if you have small children and lots of luggage.

Amazing accommodation in an amazing location.

Home away for home, but with views you'll not want to leave. Watch the ferries to and from St Mawes with breakfast, lunch and dinner. All from the brilliant terrace.

All the rooms are very spacious, so a large crowd shouldn't trip over each other that often. The living areas and and bedrooms are furnished nicely and there's lots of space to hang clothes in each bedroom. The beds are comfy too.

Church St can get a little busy at night, but Thalassa is high enough above the shops and the additional internal glazing cuts most of the noise out.

If you don't fancy cooking, check out Ming Garden, Harbour View for Fish and chips and the Chain Locker for a pint of Tribute. But if you do want to cook, there's a Tesco Express at each end of the town just 10 mins walk away and some full sized supermarkets on the way into Falmouth.

Lovely modern, spacious and comfortable property in the heart of Falmouth with excellent access to shopping, restaurants and bars. The sun deck at the back is a great outdoor space for eating outside or having sundowners whilst watching the boats on the Fal river. Both lovely Falmouth beaches within a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive.

Access to the property is via a side alleyway and several flights of stairs which may be difficult for some. Equally the underground car garage will only accommodate the smallest cars but company does offer to cover parking costs if your vehicle does not fit (info in booklet in property). espite being in the centre of town, it was quiet and little was heard even on student night!

Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend if you want to be located in a place with plenty to do around.

Lovely accommodation great size and location the view from the balcony is breathtaking would highly recommend. St mawes ferry 2 mins from the house and well worth a visit stunning little town but pre book restaurants they get busy. We are fit and healthy but if your not there are around 40 steps to the first floor from the front door. Would highly recommend this accommodation.
