Holidays in Falmouth

Holidays in Falmouth are made for lazy beach days, relaxed wanderings down cobbled streets, and easy access to some of Cornwall’s most fascinating historical buildings – not to mention a coastline that can easily be confused with the Med.

Situated on the coast, Falmouth benefits from four beautiful beaches, with many more nearby, including the much-loved Blue Flag beach, Gyllyngvase. The vibrant seaside town is also home to a selection of tropical gardens and a plethora of attractions to keep you entertained throughout your stay.

During your holiday in Falmouth, why not leave the car behind and experience some ‘car-free’ days out, enjoying transport links from the town by bus, rail, and even by boat! Visitors can take pleasure cruises around the Fal estuary or along the beautiful Helford River. Take the ferry to Flushing or St Mawes and experience the beautiful scenery along the way – it really is the only way to travel.

Home to the third deepest natural harbour in the world, it will be of little surprise that you can also enjoy many different water-based activities from Falmouth including sailing, sea safaris, and watersports – it really is a boater’s paradise!

Falmouth also benefits from a jam-packed events roster including music and food festivals as well as a week-long, town-wide celebration of all things Falmouth.

If you’re bringing the pooch with you, you’ll find lots of dog-friendly outings around Falmouth, as well as some fantastic eateries that welcome dogs and their well-behaved owners.

Did you know...

Pendennis Castle was built by Henry VIII to protect the Carrick Roads from invasion!

Beaches in Falmouth

If a Cornish stay isn’t complete without a beach day or two, Falmouth is a must-visit with its four beautiful beaches and stunning surrounding coastline.

Gyllyngvase beach – Perhaps Falmouth’s most popular beach, Gylly beach is home to everything you could want from a hazy day in the sand. Consistently flat waters provide the perfect conditions for SUPs while a café and restaurant on the beach offer beachgoers the chance to refresh and refuel without leaving the white gold sands behind.

Castle beach – Just down from Pendennis point you’ll find the aptly named Castle beach, which offers young and intrepid adventurers plenty of rockpools to explore, along with an underwater paradise for keen snorkelers.

Swanpool beach – More a cove than a beach, Swanpool mixes an idyllic setting with action-packed watersports for a fun-filled beach day whatever your beachy interests. There’s also a great little beachside café for those all-important ice creams.

Maenporth beach – Just on the edge of Falmouth lies another of South Cornwall’s most serene beaches. Flat waters, golden sand, and an award-winning restaurant all add up to an unmissable day amidst sand, sun, and sea in Falmouth.

Things to do in Falmouth

Whether you’re a water baby at heart or a seeker of culture and cuisine, there are plenty of things to add to your holiday itinerary when visiting Falmouth.

Art Galleries

Falmouth is home to an eclectic mix of art galleries, all featuring a wide variety of local and national work. Home to one of the leading art collections in Cornwall, Falmouth Art Gallery is the place to go for a rolling look at Cornish art through the ages or you can head to Beside the Wave for more contemporary exhibitions.

Shopping

After a shopping trip in Falmouth, you’ll want all highstreets to be lined with cobbles and decorated with colourful bunting – it really does set the scene for a vibrant day out! Falmouth’s shops themselves vary from big names like FatFace and Ann’s Cottage to more niche shops from intriguing antiques to everything Cornwall – perfect for your holiday memento. Oh, and if you have a sweet tooth, you’re going to want to check out Roly’s Fudge Pantry – it’s to die for!

History

A holiday in Falmouth wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum – two of the town’s top cultural attractions. Both dive into the history of Falmouth and Cornwall with a definite nautical theme, with Pendennis Castle looking more at defence and the museum exploring the wider culture of life by the sea.

Boat Trips

When you get bored of hard ground beneath your feet, set sail up the Fal estuary or along to the Helford river on one of Falmouth’s many fantastic boat trips that vary from party boats to sea safaris to meals on keels (sorry, boat puns are a mandatory here).

Watersports

With South Cornwall’s microclimate and plenty of sheltered bays, the waters around Falmouth are known for being consistently calm, which makes them perfect for mastering your favourite sea-based activity. Try your hand at everything from kayaking to SUPing, swimming to sailing as you swap dry land for the thrill of the Cornish waters.

Walks

River walks, coastal strolls and countryside ambles… there’s no limit to what your feet can discover with the many breath-taking walks in and around Falmouth. Take to the South West Coast Path for unbeatable coastal views (and plenty of opportunities for a cheeky dip in the sea) or take your walk riverside for an idyllic escape to nature. Falmouth’s also home to an impressive collection of gardens, each with their own intriguing collection of paths to explore.

Princess Pavilion

This fantastic theatre complex offers a year-round program of live music, entertainment and theatrical performances. Set in the stunning Gyllyngdune Gardens, you can pop along to take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy a drink and some food in the Garden Room Café. Find out more about the pavilion and what’s on here >

Dining Out

Falmouth is quickly becoming one of Cornwall’s ultimate foodie hotspots thanks to a veritable smorgasbord of top eateries and superb pubs and bars, many with incredible sea views and welcoming dogs. Mexican, Texan, African, Cornish, Caribbean, and vegan, it doesn’t matter what kind of cuisine you fancy, Falmouth’s got it all!

Dog-friendly Falmouth

While the four main beaches in Falmouth all operate under seasonal restrictions (dogs aren’t allowed on the beaches 1st May – 30th September, 10am – 6pm), there are plenty of pup-friendly places for you and the dog to get your beach fix near Falmouth.

Dog-friendly beaches

Polgwidden Cove – Accessed through the beautiful Trebah gardens, Polgwidden is a lovely shingle cove that’s dog-friendly throughout the year. If you don’t fancy walking, you can always rent a boat and sail there as many of the boat hires in Falmouth welcome salty sea dogs!

Sunny Cove – Perhaps the closest dog-friendly beach to Falmouth, Sunny Cove provides a perfectly sheltered place for a dog nap in the sand. It’s situated between Swanpool and Maenporth just off the coast path, making it a great destination for a dog walk. It is worth noting that the cove is popular with naturists so swimming costumes are optional!

Dog-friendly pubs and restaurants

Stable Pizza – Combining pizza, cider, and harbour views, Stable in Falmouth is a popular haunt for good reason. Dogs are welcome on the ground floor as well as outside so the whole family can enjoy a meal out together.

Five Degrees West – A pub that specialises in pizza and pints, Five Degrees is always a firm favourite with those who want to dine with their pup in tow. Pop in for a quiet drink or a slap-up meal, the choice is yours!

The Boathouse – Claiming the title of ‘pub with the best sea view in Falmouth’, The Boathouse has been welcoming guests for over 300 years, which is perhaps how they’ve perfected their easy-going offering. The menu might change with the season (and the chef’s fancy), but the friendly, dog-welcoming vibes remain the same.

What's on in Falmouth

The town has a rich tradition of hosting a year-round programme of events, from sailing regattas to live music and an abundance of food and drink festivals. You don’t have to wait for specific seasons either, as Falmouth enjoys plenty of markets and live music throughout the year.

Falmouth Spring Festival

Are you ready to paint the town yellow? Every year, the Falmouth Spring Festival celebrates the start of this blooming wonderful season with a line-up of fantastic events and a tradition that sees the town’s window displays reflect the daffodils that decorate the fields around.

Falmouth Food Festival

Filling Falmouth with tempting treats from a variety of local vendors and producers, Falmouth Food Festival is the place to be for an epic feed. Spend the day filling your bags (and bellies) with the very best grub Cornwall has to offer, while sipping Cornish ales and listening to superb musicians - it's a true feast for the senses!

International Sea Shanty Festival

This internationally popular music event brings all the foot-stomping fun of sea shanties to Falmouth as thousands of people descend to share in a festival that would make any pirate proud.

Falmouth Week

Falmouth Week isn’t just a sailing regatta, it’s a ten-day-long, town-wide celebration that features every entertainment imaginable including unmissable live music, maritime marvels, and aerial displays. Lots of the town’s shops and organisations join in, adding their fun-filled activities to the jam-packed roster.

Falmouth Oyster Festival

Bringing live music, fresh food, and a bevy of activities to the streets of Falmouth, this festival has become a tradition we just can’t do without. Celebrity chefs provide demos so you can recreate your favourite dishes at home while plenty of food and drink stalls provide you with everything you need for a true Cornish feast.

Falmouth Book Festival

You’ll want to pull your nose out of your favourite book for this one as much-loved authors, poets, and storytellers flock to Falmouth for a literary celebration like no other. Expect to find a fantastic line-up of events that cater to all tastes and ages as well as brilliant workshops to entertain and inspire.

Excellent location in central Falmouth. Fabulous close up views out to Falmouth harbour and estuary. Very quiet. Well equipped kitchen. Free Parking is close by and secure. Beautiful cottage with fantastic views.

Lovely place. Great location. Amazing view. We had a lovely holiday. Would recommend a stay here.

Nice place to stay with great river views.

Excellent location and views. We had a wonderful time in falmouth with our two dogs. Falmouth people are so friendly and there is so much to do in the area.

Lovely shops, restaurants, pubs which are all dog friendly.

Beautiful scenery all around you and such clear blue seas.

One week was not enough.

Sea View Cottage is a lovely cottage and has a view to die for, I have been there twice it just the entrance to the property that lets it down.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are sorry about the entrance. The team and the owner try to do what they can with the shared access area, but sadly with it being communal and not the sole responsibility of the property owner, there is only so much that can be done. We hope that this does not detract from everything that you enjoy so much about the interior, and that those stunning views more than make up for any disappointment with the external access area. Tanya, Customer Services

We had a great stay at sea view cottage with our three children. They loved being so close into Falmouth and the view was incredible. We even saw a seal in the water one evening! We will definitely come back again.

Lovely property with unbelievably stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing January break in Sea View Cottage, which is well maintained and really can't be faulted in any way.

We would book this property again as it was very comfortable and well located.

Lovely cottage in an excellent place looking onto the harbour central to falmouth highstreet

We had a lovely weeks holiday at the cottage we took our friend from America with us he was very impressed. The views from the window over the estuary were brilliant so relaxing watching the boats and wild life, will definitely go again

6 Sea View Cottages really is a pearl. Having that view each day was like striking gold. There is so much to see and do in Falmouth that the golf hatchback, in its amply sized car park space, stayed put all week. Art galleries, independent shops, Stones Bakery produces delicious bread, pottery painting and so much more … , fabulous, just fabulous.

The view from all 3 floors was fantastic. We were lucky with fine weather all days but we had chosen this place as the view would have been great in less clement weather.

The entrance to the property is via an alleyway noted for its overflowing rubbish bins, very off putting but worth it once the cottage is reached.

Very close to town centre so everything was to hand.

Our small car was a Hyundai i10 so the car parking was no problem but our second car with the luggage box on the roof rack would not have fitted into the doorway never mind trying to park in the limited space.

We would definitely book again.

Excellently located property in the centre of Falmouth with fantastic views of the estuary. Great selection of shops, bars and restaurants just 2 minutes from the property.

Beautiful cottage with an amazing location, spent many an hour watching the seagulls and boats go by out of the window. Lovely furnishings and very well equipped for your stay. Will definitely return and recommend Aspects Holidays. Thank you for a lovely holiday

Amazing views and proximity to Prince of Wales Ferry pier. Parked car in parking space and left it there for the whole week. Purchased a six day Fal Mussel Card for ferry, buses and train. Given excellent location and dog friendly cottage, would certainly make a return visit.

Superb cottage with lovely views, and very quiet location but only minutes from the pier. Parking space is a real bonus.

Lovely cottage with great views and central location

A stunning location, great parking, warm and cosy cottage for our January break. Some housekeeping issues on arrival but Aspect Holidays responded quickly.

Sea View Cottage is in an amazing location for views and easy access to jetty and town. It’s interior is tired but at the same time comfy. The access is not so good with no parking allowed to unload which could be even more difficult if it was raining.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

It really is all about the views and location here. Those views are just stunning! The décor and access will not suit everyone, but we hope that it was as you expected from the photos and website description. For advice on best places for unloading if you were ever to stay at this property again, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the team here. We have a very knowledgeable, locally based team and if there is any information that we can share that will make your experience and arrival to the property less stressful, we would love to help. Tanya, Customer Services

Absolutely love this house and view. Had everything we needed. Ideal location but secluded so is quiet and peaceful. Would recommend if you want the hustle and bustle of Falmouth but also peace.

Amazing views .but found out you was not allowed to sit at the back of property where the amazing views are Which was very strange .only seating was out the front which was dark and overgrown it says this in discription but needs to be worded a lot better .property was fine and spacious. Apart from the above we had a amazing time but as for not sitting out the back we will not be returning.

We were blessed with good weather. The cottage had everything we needed. It was very comfortable. The views from all floors are unrivalled. The location is convenient for the town and exploring further afield. The town is lively but the cottage was quiet. Aspects holidays is one of the best holiday cottage companies we have used in the last 20 years. Nic In the local office which is at the top of the path to the street was extremely helpful and good humoured when we had a query. Recommend this cottage and company 110%. Thanks.

We had an excellent week at Sea View Cottage. The location was superb and we never got tired of the views!!! The cottage is a little dated/tired and could do with a little TLC, but on the whole the location was brilliant and we had a smashing time! Beds were comfortable! Having the parking space was a great help! We really enjoyed our stay in Falmouth and will definitely be coming back! Thank you.

Loved our stay at sea view cottage. Located in a quiet corner and sea view location was amazing. After a challenging year we spent lots of time just sitting gazing out over the harbour wall and would definitely return .

Sea View Cottage easily had the best location of any holiday property I’ve ever been to, especially if you want to experience Falmouth in the evenings. The view was fantastic especially to wake up to in a morning. As a young group of 6 all in our 20s we had an excellent time with plenty to do in the local area, and plenty more to do if we came again. Only one small issue was the car parking, there is only one allocated car parking space in the car park so be advised if you’re planning on bringing more than one vehicle.

Second visit here , we love this cottage. View is fantastic, watching the boats & the ferries going in & out even in bad weather is a pleasure.Saw a couple of "super yachts" coming in. 2 minutes walk to the pier & boat trips, great trip to St Mawes & then over to the Roseland.Lots of nice individual shops in Falmouth & near to gardens to visit.Small sitting out area could do with a gate, we take a stair gate & fix it across the gap.Lots of hot water & comfortable beds . 2 bedrooms have the harbour view, you can lie in bed & see the sea !! .Great to have an allocated parking space. We will be back.

We stayed at Sea View Cottage a couple of weeks ago and overall enjoyed our stay. Spectacular views from the lounge over the harbour and very central for exploring Falmouth. The parking space was a big bonus, very tight space but a welcome perk. Warm and cosy cottage, however could do with a major update, a bit old fashioned, however besides this it was clean with everything you may need for a comfortable stay.

Perfect location. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are glad that you liked the brilliant location of Sea View Cottage; the views are just stunning from there! The suitability for those with limited mobility or young children is definitely something to consider with the property being set over 3 floors and the parking located away from the property. We try to make this as clear as we can within the description online, so we do hope that this was what you had expected and that the property worked well for all of you. Tanya, Customer Services

We had a great week at Seaview. The location could not have been any better and being able to swim right from the harbour wall was an absolute bonus. Husband enjoyed being able to fish in front of the house. Next door neighbour was happy that we sat in front of the house and was very friendly (we asked if it was OK) but when his wife arrived she was the opposite and said we shouldn’t be sat there - this needs clarifying. Chairs were placed in front of the window so we assumed OK.

All rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and had great showers.

The one parking space was useful but it is still tricky to take luggage to the cottage and back at the end of the week. I would recommend not taking groceries and buying from the local shops where it was easy to get everything we needed.

Would definitely recommend- super cottage.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are sorry if there was any confusion over this. Unfortunately, you can't use that outside area to the back of the property, with the sea view. We try to make it as clear as possible within our website description that the outside seating area is at the front of the property and does not have a sea view, and there had been a sign outside the back of the property (sea view side) to state that this area could not be used for sitting out. We will check to make sure that this is still there and hopefully avoid any future confusion. Whilst you cannot sit and enjoy those views from outside, you do still get to benefit from amazing views from the dining area and both of the double bedrooms, and with the added benefit of the balcony in the top floor bedroom, you still get to sit out and enjoy the lovely view and fresh air from there. It was great to read how much you enjoyed your time here; it certainly sounds like Sea View Cottage was the perfect place for you. Hopefully, we will see you back here again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

This place is fantastic. Stayed early July 2020. The location is perfect being 5 min walk from ferry, town centre and local food shops like Tesco Metro. I had not realised until we arrived that house is detached, and it is in a quiet spot down an alley just off the High street. It is roomy and beds are comfy and with good showers. Although the decor is somewhat dated who cares when all rooms have such a great view? We really liked Falmouth itself but is easy to drive or ferry farther afield. Despite its central location the house benefits from allocated parking in a small multi storey car park a few minutes away which is great. As per the note in the property description the parking space demands good manoeuvring as it is at the end of row. We took the smaller of our 2 cars and I would suggest that if you have car as large as a bmw 5 series you would get it in the space as long as the adjacent and opposite spaces are tidily parked. Highly recommended and we will return!

Thanks for your really helpful feedback; when you are staying in a property, you get to experience everything in a different way than we do when we visit the properties, so it really is very useful to get feedback from guests. Sea View Cottage isn't the most modern in décor but we try to show this as much as possible within the photos and it is priced accordingly. You do, as you say, get the benefit of those amazing views and a really handy location for exploring the town and other nearby areas. We are glad that you enjoyed it and we hope to see you again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

We loved the homely feel of the cottage ( it was our first trip with our rescue Westie). The views are spectacular and it had a real home from home feel to it ( in places a tad tired but to be honest if going away with a hound or for those with children I'd prefer this anyway to somewhere you are terrified of putting a cup down'. It was spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was a nice touch. You are behind / next to Stones bakery which is wonderful and over the road for crafters is Stitches and Cream ( yarn and fabric). I was I'm my element. Be aware the entrance is uneven and there are numerous steps, there is also no lighting at night other than tourch so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. There is an area at the top of the high street where you can walk the Pooch, allow 20 minutes so if you are used to your dog nipping into the garden last thing at night you will need to walk it instead. Not an issue for us but those who retire early or do not wish to venture out later in the evening may find it worrisome. Falmouth is a buzzy town with lots of independent businesses. The whole place is very dog friendly, we ate out every night and Lily was spoilt everywhere we went. We would definitely stay here again.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are so thrilled to read that yours and Lily's holiday was enjoyed at this homely cottage. It is lovely to hear that you were in your element with the surroundings and that Lily was spoilt everywhere you went - such amazing memories for you all. To get the full advantage of those amazing views, the property is tucked away a little, down an alley from the main streets of Falmouth, so it doesn't benefit from the street lighting that you would have on the main streets, and the path is a little uneven, so a torch can come in handy, and as we describe, this property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility, so that is definitely something to consider before booking. It certainly sounds like it worked perfectly for you and Lily though; we are glad you had such a fantastic time and we hope that we will get to see you all again soon. Lucy, Customer Services

It was a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location, so clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again .

We had a fabulous holiday in this accommodation. However we were very surprised to see that the decor is quite tired and old fashioned. This is not visible in the pictures online so I did feel this was clever photography.

This did not stop us enjoying the holiday. The property is very comfortable and well equipped.

Falmouth is wonderful, there is so much to do. Despite a week of rain we still had a marvellous time.

The views are heavenly. We did explore by using the ladder from the back of the property which was fine for us but not for everyone.

Hope to return to this property.

The view and location is perfect secure car parking is great but is up top of hill and could be difficult for some to unload and reload House is well equipped if a little dated in places I staying in summer be aware very little outside space.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your feedback; we are glad to hear that you enjoyed those lovely views and great location. We have now added a note on the website description to make the approximate distance of the parking from the house and the uphill walk, a little clearer. Thank you for the helpful feedback. Tanya, Customer Services

We had a great holiday being based here. Falmouth is a great town with lots going on and plenty of restaurants. The views are what sell this house and I never tired of them from both the master bedroom or downstairs in the sitting room. Having the parking space was really handy as it is very hard to parking this part of Falmouth, but note that it is a few minutes walk from the house (up the hill). The furniture and furnishings are a little tired but it is clean throughout and you soon get used to it. Be aware there is no washing machine and electric heated towel rails which would have been handy. Also, note that we were advised that we were not permitted to sit outside on the sea wall in front of the downstairs windows for some reason - which was a bit disappointment.
Aspects Holidays were exceptional in their support with a minor issue that got resolved quickly. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday and staying in the house.

Stayed on a weeks break in July 2019. Nice cottage, clean and tidy in an excellent location, lovely views of the harbour and walking reach of shops and amenities. The car park was great and I managed to park a hyundai i800 safely without any problems. The only downside was unloading and loading due to parking restrictions but other than that very good.

Recommended ????

Lovely location. The view from the dining area is marvellous. Balcony is for looking out of, rather than sitting on. Parking is fine for all but very large family vehicles - just make sure you are comfortable reversing into parking spaces.

Wonderful location, great sea views and a character property. Good internet connection .The decor and furnishings were tired and the general upkeep could be improved .A washing machine would be useful .On balance the positives outweigh the negatives and we enjoyed our stay there .Aspects were a tremendous company and were always available for help . The property is currently a 6/10 or 7/10. could ,with a little refurbishment , be easily a 9-10 out of 10 !

Thank you so much for your helpful comments. We have since been to inspect the property and discussed with the property owner, areas that would benefit upgrades. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Tanya, Customer Services

This property is in a fantastic location on the water's edge, with stunning views through the lovely, big, bay windows. It meets Aspects' very high standards and I would happily return.

Best view ever, we watched the big liners come & go & all the smaller boats from the sitting room window. Huge comfortable bed & good sized bedroom with harbour view. Good showers with lots of hot water.Only a couple of minutes walk to the pier & all the boat trips.Great situation close to shops & cafes. There is no gate to the little courtyard, we had a stair gate so fixed it there to stop dogs wandering off. Having our own parking was really good ,didnt have to worry about finding a space to park when we had been out.

As a Cornish family, living away, we want to feel as if we are "coming home" when we book in Cornwall. It is very important to us.

Once again, Aspects Holidays have delivered the perfect blend of beautiful home, quality location and warm welcome.

Everyone we encountered from Aspects is friendly, helpful and efficient. They always have the customer's experience in mind, and nothing is too much trouble.

Our recent stay in Falmouth was a joy in a cosy, comfortable house in the centre of town with breath-taking views. We cannot wait to return! Thankyou :)

The cottage was lovely, the views are breathtaking and how lovely to wake up to them in the morning, would highly recommended it and definitely be booking again

Amazing location and warm and comfortable. Views were superb, very peaceful and yet you’re right in the town centre. Falmouth is a great place to stay - vibrant town and brilliant walking to be had. Would highly recommend!

This is the second time we have rented this property. Location central, fantastic views and allows dogs. Property is cosy and highly recommended.

The location was excellent, easy reach of the town center and facilities

View was stunning

Fantastic view, great location.

WE LOVED THE HOUSE AND ITS POSITION AND THE VIEWS WERE BEAUTIFUL. WE WERE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE GOOD WEATHER FOR THE WHOLE OF OUR STAY. THANKYOU FROM PETE,JANE,SUE GRINTER AND CALLY WILLIAMS

We found the cottage very comfortable. Had all the equipment we needed, Lovely views, Beds really comfortable. Shower was lovely. Will be booking again.

This cottage does not meet the standard we expected from the pictures on the website in respect of equipment, furniture or facilities. This cottage does not represent value for money. Compared to other cottages I have stayed in it is way overpriced.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are really sorry to hear that this property did not meet all of your expectations. We really do take guests comments very seriously and would always want to ensure that your expectations are met, if not exceeded. This property had met all required standards on the last inspection, and we felt that it had been priced accordingly, taking into account many factors such as the fantastic convenient location, stunning views, availability of parking etc. But a lot can change in a short space of time, so we will of course check on your comments, as we do not want anyone else to feel disappointed. We have already spoken to the housekeeper to check on the amount of crockery, and check the wardrobe handles. We have also asked that a note is added to the dish with the fob in it for the parking, so as to advise that the fob should be kept on you at all times. We try to make that clear on the arrival information, but we hope that this will help avoid any future confusion. We will monitor your comments about the neighbours that kept parking motorbikes in the alley way; it's not something that has been highlighted to us before, so we are hoping that it was a bit of a one-off. Thank you for making us aware. We hope that despite your disappointment, you still enjoyed your time in Falmouth and thank you again for letting us know your thoughts. Tanya, Customer Services

Lovely homely cottage centrally located, with excellent views.

A cottage with a fabulous view, a lovely family feel & a gigantic bed & powerful hot showers. We loved our stay here.

Sea View Cottage is a beautiful and quirky house in a fantastic location. It is right in the middle of town but tucked away so very quiet. The views are amazing from the majority of the windows. Given the location of the cottage, provision of a parking space is a real bonus. Inside the cottage is warm and comfortable. Everything was provided including a welcome pack of tea, milk etc. Very comfortable beds and good bathrooms. We can't wait to return.

This was our second stay at the cottage. It's a gorgeous place with stunning views. We'll be back. ??

This cottage is in a great location with fantastic views from the lounge and bedrooms. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the harbour is holiday bliss! So close to all the attractions of the town but still lovely and peaceful. Very warm and cosy so would make an ideal winter stay.

fabulous views over the water, always something interesting to see. very comfortable and good location for all amenities.

Great location. Great holiday.

Thank you for the nice stay in the Cottage in Falmouth, it was lovely. We would like to visit another time again.

Views were magnificent and the view from both bedrooms in the morning when the sun rises could not be bettered. We left the window open at night to hear the sea lapping at the harbour wall and so peaceful. We would love to return in the Summer.

It's fab with stunning views. We'll be back next year.

A lovely cosy cottage in a fab location. Hidden away from the high street with beautiful views over the water. Parking a bit snug but manageable.
