You know you are arriving somewhere extraordinary when you turn down the country lane and get a first glimpse of the magnificent views across rolling countryside down to the sea! Superlatives are not enough to portray this magical barn conversion set within utterly idyllic, private gardens in an Area of Outstanding Beauty.

Songbirds is most definitely a place to say goodbye to the hectic world and escape in total privacy surrounded by an oasis of nature. Painstakingly restored this barn is sat within the secluded grounds of a sixteenth century farmhouse and although off the beaten track every modern luxury has been thought of. Think hand built kitchens, luxury bathrooms, oversized sofas and sumptuous beds. Open up the doors from the large living spaces to the terraces and look out on your own little paradise where there is even an area to play petanque to while away the afternoons. We can't talk about Songbirds without mentioning the gorgeous beaches and coves stretching all along the breath-taking coastline in this stunning part of Cornwall so take your pick. If feeling energetic leave the car behind and take a winding stroll straight from your doorstep through woodlands and fields and end up at Millook Haven a firm favourite with the local surfers. Songbirds complete with a fire pit, barbeque and Pizza oven is the perfect place to unwind after a day on the beach cooking up a feast as the sun comes down on this little piece of heaven. The owners have even created a vegetable plot for guests where you are free to take your pick in season. At the bottom of the garden a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning coffee is the decked terrace overlooking the large pond where you can take in the morning chorus. Don't forget your camera and binoculars either as Songbirds is a real haven for wildlife lovers with red deer, otters and stoats as well as numerous bird species regularly visiting the area.
