Lovely accommodation, very comfortable, fully equipped, home from home, Great location close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Overall a very comfortable stay. Put this against other properties at the same time( peak season in August ), it has to be magnificent value.

Lovely accommodation, everything you need, great welcome pack, near to town and amenities.

We arrived for a week's break end of October 2022 after reading the reviews and it didn't disappoint. Light, bright and clean, ideal for 2 people, not too big or too small with a large comfortable bed. Lovely decor which made it feel very homely. The main shops are a 10 - 15 min walk in one direction and the lake is about 5 mins in the opposite direction. We walked to Watergate over the cliff and came back along the beach over some rocks to Porth, the tide was right out, the sun was shining, just wonderful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The place was spotless clean and had everything we needed. Great location, quiet but close to town and beaches. We didn't have a car but we found everything within walking distance and rarely had to use a taxi. Would definitely stay at The Old Workshop again.

BRILLIANT THATS ALL I CAN SAY.

We have just returned from a week at the Old workshop cottage in Newquay. Had a thoroughly good holiday and loved the accommodation provided, clean, comfortable, peaceful and quiet. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. There are some steps down from the road to the cottage but no more than a flight of stairs at home. Comes with dedicated parking space which is brilliant. We had fresh flowers and wine, milk and tea and coffee as a welcome gift - fabulous surprise. Everything was put into place to make us feel welcome. There was even umbrellas to use, which we loved the little extras provided. Close to main road links if you want to travel around Cornwall which we did. It's a 10-15 minute walk to town and main attractions in Newquay up a slight hill, and then down again. Worth the effort when you get there. Would definitely recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed. If we return to Cornwall we will stay at the old workshop cottage again.

The apartment is lovingly furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday in a cozy atmosphere. The location is perfect. The city center can be reached after a short walk over the hill. We felt very welcome and at home.

What a fabulous little bolt hole, clean,comfortable, nicely decorated in a quiet residential area. We loved it.

It's close to town, to the beaches, harbour and the coastal path and is also a great base to explore other places from.

A welcoming and gratefully received bottle of wine and the lovely addition of fresh flowers were appreciated.

Great accommodation everything you need for a self catering break and local to town. Parking space included. Owners lovely. Less mobile may struggle with the steps.

The old Workshop is an absolutely wonderful place to spend a week's holiday. It is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean very quiet and comfortable. From the moment we walked in to see fresh flowers and lots of other thoughtful little bits we felt at home. It is perfectly placed to explore the beauty of Cornwall, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Lovely property which is furnished to an extremely high standard. Extremely clean and well looked after. Bed is extremely comfortable and you can get excellent night’s sleep.

Good location to access Newquay except the walk up a hill and then down a hill into town. However walk only takes 5-10 mins.

We have stayed at the Old Workshop before and have booked for next year ! We thoroughly enjoy staying here. The owners are really lovely , friendly and are very helpful when needed . Perfect location close to the zoo , a boating lake and all amenities . The accommodation is cosy and well proportioned for two people with on-site parking . I could not fault the cleanliness at all which was very reassuring during the current situation we are all in.

Great location, not far from the town centre. Good price. Strong distasteful smell at the property. Owner had gone into the cottage to clean on our last day 2 hour before the checkout time when we were still hoping to go back into the cottage before leaving at 10am. When we wanted to nip back in the cottage just before 9am to use the toilet she didn’t really want to let us in - even though we had paid for the property until 10am that day.

The Old Workshop (Newquay) was very clean and had all the things we needed for a short stay (kitchen well equipped, Smart TV with Netflix etc, very comfortable bed). It was a good location with a short walk (but with quite a hill) into the town, and very quiet at night.

We originally booked an apartment in a communal block but needed somewhere self contained for the first two days due to Covid restrictions so we amended and booked the Old Worrkshop for the first two days. It was immaculate, couldn't fault it in any way whatsoever. Very comfortable apartment and very clean.

We enjoy spending our holidays in Cornwall, the beaches and coastal landscapes are amazing there are plenty of places to visit and wonderful walks along the coast line is enough to clear the mind. Cornwall is a great place to visit, when the weather is right you can almost imagine you are in the south of France.

Everything was in walking distance as we don’t have a car. Bus station local Ideal location for all the beaches Plenty of food places for eating out & shops for supplies We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Workshop & the owners were friendly Would recommend the apartment to friends

Great location just 15 minutes walk to the beach and town centre and it’s located in a very quiet residential street. The apartment is situated underneath a garage and at the end of a garden which I would guess belongs to the owners. It was very clean and bright with pretty much everything you could need for a weeks stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Workshop. The location is perfect for Newquay, and the property has good private parking. The property was incredibly clean and modern, which was really pleasing given that hygiene is so important at the moment. I really felt that the company had gone to trouble to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It had a great range of cooking utensils and everything else you may need if you want to stay in and cook. It has a washing line and a small courtyard which was really handy for drying our wetsuits and towels. We loved the extra touches such as the fresh flowers and wine. It is located within a 15 min walk to Great Western beach which is one of our favourites, and also many of the restaurants. If your preference is Fistral beach then the apartment is about a 40 min walk away. This is our second visit and we look forward to returning!

Cosy & quiet flat a short 10 min. walk from city center. Perfect place if you are visiting Cornwall by car. Fully equiped kitchen and even a nice bottle of wine is offered :) Don't look further, quite good price-value-ratio. Excellent for couples with or without toddler :)

This is a very comfortable apartment and in a convenient location for the town centre. The owners are friendly and helpful and provided a welcome hamper of wine, chocolate biscuits, fresh flowers, milk, tea and coffee.

Had a lovely weeks stay at this property. Short walk to Newquay,but quite location.

Could not fault the old workshop in terms of cleanliness and overall cost. The only downer was that the walk to the town centre was very steep!!!!!!! But overall a very nice holiday very nice.

The Old Wokshop was an amazing and lovely stay, the location was perfect and the apartment had homely touches throughout such as fresh flowers awaiting our arrival. We couldn’t say one bad word about our stay.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We felt very well. It is a quiet and very nice place to stay. Most beaches are accessible by foot.

This cottage was in the ideal place for town, beach food and drink excellent choice.

We had a fabulous stay at The Old Workshop - the facilities, furnishings and welcome touches were of a high quality and we would highly recommend staying there to anyone who wants a base in the center of town from which to explore. Lovely views over the hills beyond the town too!

What a lovely studio apartment. The bed was supper comfy and cosy, the lounge area , kitchen and shower room very well equipped, clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend a stay , especially as it is so near to the beaches and other attractions in Newquay.

The cottage is well equipped and very attractively decorated. It is in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from the town and beaches. The reserved parking space was also very convenient.

Not worth the money

We could not have had a better stay. The accommodation was a fantastic base was extremely clean and in a fantastic spot.we will be returning to the old workshop and will definitely use aspect holidays to book through. We go to Cornwall every year and visit different places up and down the area. we found this a fantastic place just in the middle of everywhere we wanted to see this time. But many more places to visit next year.

the old workshop is in a great location, shops bars beaches and restaurants all within walking distance, very modern, clean comfortable and very homely, everything you would expect from a holiday home an so much more, we will definitely be coming to stay again.

Choosing to stay at The Old Workshop was the best decision. The cottage is exectly as described. Perfect for two persons. Very comfortable, and fully furnished for those who would like to spend the evening to relax and cook a nice meal. Location is great, and makes it easier for those who would like to explore Cornwall, since it is practically in the middle. Area is very quite, which surely helps in having a very good sleep at night. Facilities: supermarkets, shops, restaurants are within walking distance. I fell in love with the place and immediately felt like a second home. Thanks for the amazing experience! Will definitely recommend!!
