Just to echo all the other reviews, the facilities, the location, the decor, the welcome basket, everything ticked all the boxes and more. So much so that within 2 mins of our starting our holiday we had already been online to see when we could book this again. five stars in all categories!!!

West Holm was the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever stayed in and the location was excellent

Lovely bungalow in a quiet location

Thank you for a lovely holiday at West Holm. The bungalow was clean and well equipped with everything we needed and more, and the welcome box of goodies was much appreciated. Wet weather prevented us from enjoying the garden much, but the house was a great base to relax in after day trips exploring the coast. Stunning beach and sunsets just a short walk away. We didn't want to leave!

We’ve had a wonderful second stay at West Holm. The property was just as good as last year with everything we could wish for. The location is perfect, evening walks to watch the sunset are a particular family favourite!

Fantastic location just a short walk from Widemouth Bay. West Holm is one of those places you never want to leave, with its stunning garden and airy living space. Highly recommended.

The reviews for this property were good, that is why we booked it. Don't want to jeapordise future bookings for the owner just because it didn't live up to our expectations.

Amazing property in an incredible location. The best we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was so thoughtful. Everything has been carefully considered to make a perfect holiday; all the equipment we could ever need, beautiful furnishings and unknown extras such as Spotify through the Sonos sound system and Prime and Netflix on the TV. The garden was lovely and the shed is an Aladdin’s Cave! Body boards, beach equipment and garden games were all a huge bonus. Will definitely recommend and would love to return here. Thank you.

West Holm is a very nice property, although we did have a problem with dirty floors on arrival which we cleaned and then reported when the agency was open.

Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and lots of books/dvds maps etc to use. The property is in a good location very quiet and a few minutes walk to the beach Conservatory was a nice place to sit and read looking out over the garden. Very nice place to stay we enjoyed our week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at West Holm. This was our first holiday in two years! We had booked West Holm in September 2020 but cancelled because of Covid. Aspect Holidays were so helpful and we got almost a full refund. It was worth the wait. The bungalow is in a quiet location even though there are neighbours all around. It is extremely well equipped with many appliances better than ours at home! The king size bed was comfortable too. Overall very nicely done.

Lovely property nice and clean. Great location short walk to beach and costal path. Very well equipped kitchen cooked a few meals in the cottage and found everything we needed. The outside storage was great too with all the beach equipment, the boys tried to bodyboard and loved it. The Welcome box was a nice touch after a long journey would definitely recommend this property.

A week at West Holm was just what was needed. The bungalow is in a quiet location, just a few minutes from the beach and SW Coastal path. It is extremely well-equipped with a very nice welcome box of goodies on arrival. Spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, the bungalow also has a range of DVDs and games (indoor and garden) available if needed. The TV is FreeSat enabled and comes with a basic Netflix and Amazon Prime facility. Wi-Fi proved to be reliable and efficient. A pack of local maps (including up to date Ordnance Survey Landranger and Explorer editions) was really helpful. Someone came, whilst we are out, to cut the grass and clear fallen palm leaves. The property manual contains tips and suggestions on what to see, visit, where to eat etc. Our weather wasn't perfect during our week, but good enough for what we wanted to do - headland walks from Widemouth Bay, Bude, Duckpool and Boscastle, plus walks along the Bude Canal and at Tamar Lakes. All in all, a great place to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Had a wonderful 5 night stay here as soon as the lockdown restrictions were lifted. Every thing was spotlessly clean and had a wonderful fresh smell which is so nice to arrive in. This place is in an absolutely perfect position, with the Ocean peeping over the hillside at the end of the lane and stunning scenery only minutes from the door. The place itself is modern bright and fresh and full of pretty décor that gave you that holiday feel! The kitchen was a lovely and garden was a perfect sun trap! Visited Bude, Boscastle and Tintagel and had ice creams at the beach every day. Lovely welcome basket as well and card from owner which was very thoughtful and appreciated and set the tone for a brilliant holiday. This was exactly what we needed after the long hard winter lockdown. Even the teenager approved and we know how hard they are to please! We didn't want to leave and we will definitely be back! Thanks to Aspects and the owners for giving us this uplifting holiday that was so much needed!

This is a lovely Bungalow in a prefect location. We have stayed there a few times and just love it.

We stayed at West Holm for a week in September and had a relaxing and enjoyable break. The house is a very short walk from the beach at Widemouth Bay and a 5 mile drive into Bude for the beach, shops and restaurants. West Holm is a fantastic house which can be enjoyed in all weathers. We had very hot days where we used the garden; and wet, windy days where we were cosy and enjoyed being indoors. On a good day try the walk into Bude along the coastal path and then back again along the canal and across fields - 7 miles but a fine walk with plenty of places to stop and eat and drink.

We had a wonderful stay at West Holm with the property exceeding all of our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We had a wonderful week at West Holm, in a great location minutes from the sea, beautifully decorated, very well laid out and kitted out with everything you could possibly need.

We had a brilliant week - should have stayed two. The house is just right for a couple or family. There were four of us two adults and two teenagers, they put up with sharing for a week. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable especially the beds. Locally the beach is literally a few mins from your door. There is the beach cafe and beach bar in easy walking distance and also a small fresh fish shop which also has basic provisions - bread, milk etc. Just 5-10 mins walk. Bude is about 10mins drive down the coast road and has everything you need shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways. In these testing times it was great to get away enjoy the beach and fresh air, eat some good food and just relax in a safe and clean environment. Thank you.

We've stayed in a different cottages in Cornwall but this one is really the best. Absolutely loved everything in there. Such a modern and cosy place to stay. Enjoyed having dinner in the garden, so peaceful and relaxing, loved the floor covering bathroom and shower. Amazing! Kids loved to be in there room, beds are comfortable. A big thank you and we'll be back.

A very well equipped and comfortable house with everything one could wish for. Enjoyed sitting out in the peaceful garden and watching the wild life fly by. Also enjoyed strolls and walks along the beach and cliffs at Widemouth Bay and Bude.

West Holm was clean and bright. Very well equipped everything you could need and more and of a good quality, even down to the garden furniture. Lovely touch of welcone basket. Easy walking distance of the beach. Best cottage we have stayed in and would not hesitate to come back and would recommend to friends and family.

Very relaxing and plenty of places to visit in the area or just walk along its many trails for breathtaking views and scenery.

Great accommodation - well proportioned, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Everything worked, including the wi-fi (which is of critical importance to my two sons... .). The location was really good, quiet but very close to the beach and a great cafe. The garden and the large conservatory were lovely, the latter was great when the weather wasn't good. Difficult to find fault in anything.
