With the upcoming Coronation, we’ve been thinking about where a new King might like to celebrate on holiday. With seclusion and luxury in mind, we’ve selected five of our properties that would suit anyone looking for somewhere extra special; perfect for a totally relaxing holiday!
Songbirds
Tucked away down a private track through rolling fields, Songbirds, from our Unique and Boutique range of properties, is truly secluded with total privacy. However, every element of luxury has been thought about in this beautifully restored barn conversion. With a modern and spacious interior; a garden and terrace with pizza oven, fire pit and BBQ; expansive countryside and sea views, you really couldn’t wish for more. We think the Royals would particularly enjoy the pétanque court too! Songbirds sleeps six, has ample parking and welcomes dogs.
5 Tehidy Terrace
Enjoy a few days of pure indulgence at 5 Tehidy Terrace a sumptuous, grade two listed, town house, located in a beautiful part of Falmouth. Sink into the luxurious sofas after a day exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall. Enjoy a fabulous nights sleep in the luxurious beds, with a last peep at the boats on the river as you close the curtains. This property sleeps 6 and is perfect for the whole family or for a romantic getaway for two.
Cove Cottage
Get away from it all at Cove Cottage, located in two acres of private grounds at the edge of Cape Cornwall. With uninterrupted views across to Brison’s Rocks and the Atlantic Ocean, it would be hard not to sit and watch the sun set every evening from the terrace. With private access to the small rocky cove, you’ll be able to stroll down and enjoy the tranquil, quiet cove. Spend the evenings relaxing in front of the log burner, or enjoy the views from the garden room. Sleeping four, and with parking, this property can be enjoyed as a family, or for just the two of you.
Hillcote
Be wowed the minute you walk through the door at this opulent home for eight guests and your furry friends. Hillcote is an exquisitely presented Edwardian home that combines sumptuous living spaces, luxurious fixtures, and bespoke fittings, everything has been thought of to make for the most luxurious stay. The stunning magnolia trees give the ideal dappled shade to relax in mid-summer and beautiful flowers to enjoy in the spring. Wadebridge is an ideal base to explore North Cornwall, a short drive will take you to some of the best sandy beaches in the county.
St Breca
For something a little different, St Breca, which can be found down a single track road close to the coast near Prussia Cove, is incredibly special. The breathtaking views across the fields and sea can be enjoyed from the veranda, or the private garden. After a day exploring the coast, return to the barn, rinse away the day’s sand under the hot outside shower and enjoy the fire pit in the grounds outside. On colder evenings, relax in front of the inside open fire, under the vaulted beamed ceiling. Sleeping four and with parking, St Breca would also make a wonderful retreat for two.
