As storms on Friday night brought 60mph winds and high tides, many areas of West Cornwall were affected. The Aspects Wharf office in St Ives managed to avoid the worst of the weather but others, such as the Lifeboat Inn weren’t so fortunate. As high tide reached it’s peak, tidal storm surges flooded St Ives promenade, with reports of wheelie bins floating in the harbour!
Three days on, tides are still high but the worst of the weather appears to be over. The below photo was taken by Sarah Bond from Aspects Holidays at 9:30am this morning.
