Absolutely perfect, quality, cleanliness, location

Perfect location less than a minute walk from the harbour! The cottage had everything you need and more. Modern kitchen, small paved courtyard garden. Parking right outside cottage for 1 car.

Would highly recommend this property. Spotlessly clean on arrival, easy parking just outside. Good level of equipment and comfort. Perfect for our winter break as it is close to all amenities and a lovely log burner for the cold evenings. Some good high tides , good food and drink. Perfect .

We had a lovely week in Chy Kensa. The property was immaculately clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was so lovely to be literally a minute's stroll to the harbour for shops, pubs, restaurants and a nice holiday vibe. Thank you for a great holiday!

The property is located very close to the harbour and was well presented. On our arrival the property was immaculately clean and there was a lovely cream tea waiting in the fridge. The garden area is a small yard but perfectly adequate for our needs and that was to sit in the early evening sun with a Gin and reading our books. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again.

Lovely spacious holiday cottage in great location just off main harbour road. Great for two people and two dogs. Only issue we had was assessing our parking space in front of cottage was tricky because locals were parking on the double yellow lines at end of the road near cottage, making it very difficult to turn and reverse up into parking space outside cottage. You had to reverse into space because road was a dead end with no turning. Very nice cream tea on arrival in fridge, would most probably stay again even though the parking was a bit of an awkward issue sometimes! Loved Porthleven.

Yet another fabulous stay in this lovely cottage! Everything you need is there! Such a short walk to the harbour which is where all shops and restaurants are located! Could have done with longer there as it takes me awhile to relax! Looking forward to booking again for next year!! ??

We had a wonderful holiday at Chy Kensa. Perfect property in a perfect location and the weather was fabulous. Just a 2 min stroll to the harbour with lovely eateries. Would recommend the fish & chips just a stone's throw from the property. Property was very clean and comfortable and the cream tea was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend Chy Kensa and we will definitely return.

We have been staying at Chy Kensa for many years. Our Cornish home away from home. Cottage is immaculate & has everything you need. Is in an excellent location for the harbour & exploring Porthleven. Allocated car park space & lovely patio to enjoy the afternoon sun. Welcome cream tea is a lovely thought after a long journey & Chy Kensa is a first class property all round.

Another fabulous stay at Chy Kensa. The house is spotless as always and new bathroom and our door garden furniture are a massive bonus. Very centrally located in Porthleven for all the wonderful restaurants and private parking is brilliant to have.

A lovely comfortable and stylish cottage in a good location near to the harbour and shops. Modern and clean interior. Nice outdoor seating area. Great to have parking right outside the property. Would happily return.

Our 2nd time at this lovely cottage since October last year! Love the improvements from the last time we came (new bathroom, front door, sofas, electric radiators)! Such a great location and very close to the harbour! Also very well equipped and comfortable! Will be booking Chy Kensa very soon for our holiday next year! Can’t wait ??

Chy Kensa is so close to the harbour and has parking. It is beautifully decorated, all fresh, spacious and clean. The lounge/dining room is exceptionally large with a lovely wooden floor. The kitchen looks new and is very well equipped with quality kitchen ware.Everything you need is right there. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathroom is lovely. There is a gorgeous sun trap on the back with lovely outdoor furniture. We didn't use the log burner, but it looked amazing for those chilly weeks. We fell in love with Porthleven many years ago and would definitely recommend this cottage to appreciate the wonders of this gorgeous destination.

Porthleven is a beautiful, unspoilt town, with lots of bars and restaurants and fantastic coastal walks. Chy Kensa was just a few steps from the harbour and very well equipped. But beware if you have back problems as the beds are very hard and we had to leave early as my husbands back hurt so much. Was a shame because we loved the area and the cottage.

Have stayed at Chy Kensa for many years. Cottage is in a fantastic location minutes from Porthleven harbour. Excellent facilities, very clean & a new bathroom since our last stay. Very handy parking outside. Dog friendly so we enjoyed many walks on the beach & cliff path. Very good selection of take aways near by. You cannot beat Porthleven for food & views. Lovely stay.

Chy Kensa is in a perfect position within a short walk of the harbour, shops , restaurants and pubs . Cottage is immaculately clean and well appointed and much more spacious than I imagined . Sofas in living room are comfy leather and there’s a large dining area . Kitchen and bathroom modern and attractive and there’s a comfortable seating are at the back which gets afternoon sun. The only negative for us was the mattress in main bedroom which was lumpy and uncomfortable. Apart from that the property is perfect .

We’ve just returned from our third stay in Chy Kensa, it’s had a bit of work done since our last stay in 2018 and we enjoyed using the new kitchen and bathroom, comfy sitting room furniture and log burner. The cottage is extremely well equipped, great location, the only thing that would improve it is a sea view! The TV/remote control was a bit of a challenge but I think that’s a reflection on our age. The log burner, when I got it going, was wonderful and I’ve come home wishing we had one. It’s a dog friendly cottage, Robbie our black lab had a wonderful time. We’ll be back again in the future.
