This is our 4th stay at Messina and certainly won’t be the last ! It’s our special place to come and stay when we want to get away from it all. As soon as you walk through the door it’s like it’s giving you a big hug , it doesn’t matter what the weather is doing outside this place will always make you feel warm and cosy . An amazing find and we will be back again soon ! Thanks Mike and Orange for always making us feel so welcome .

October 2023

Our family hadn't had a holiday for the last four years since lock down meant our last Cornish trip had to be cancelled. Since then, prices have rocketed in our preferred location of Porthminster and become unpalatable. So, we wanted somewhere modern, well equipped and reasonably priced for what you get - location became secondary (can travel in to Porthminster, or use as a base to explore other places). Having almost given up the search, I happened across Villa Messina which caught my eye as it looked like the sort of property I could happily live in, let alone holiday in! Thankfully, the property met all our expectations and can't fault it. Spacious for a family of four, airy, modern and we felt had a good location. Should you wish to travel in to St Ives, it's about a 20/25 minute drive,10 minutes or so to St. Michael's Mount, or 3 or 4 minutes to Perranuthnoe beach. We all agreed we would happily return to Villa Messina, and hope to be met at the garden gate by the owner's dog to play throw the stick again :)

We had a fabulous week at villa messina and is very much a home from home.

Very relaxed atmosphere, great little touches from the owners such as the cream tea on arrival, some arrival bits of shopping like milk, bread, coffee pods for the coffee machine, butter etc. Beach towels in case we needed to use them, although we did bring our own, still a nice thought. Lovely garden where our kids threw sticks for Troy and Mya (owners dogs). Jessica is missing them already! Nice little welcome card from Mike and Orange, who were very nice people to chat to.

All in all a fantastic place to explore Cornwall or just to relax in on a rainy day!

Can't praise the place high enough. Thank you very much!

Absolutely beautiful villa , in a beautiful area of Cornwall . The beds were so comfortable. Everything you need has been thought of to make your stay like home to home . We arrived to homemade scones , jam and clotted cream . The garden is absolutely stunning . We can’t wait to book again . Our first time with Aspects holidays and we give them 10/10 .

Absolutely wonderful, the best holiday rental we have stayed in. Hosts Orange and Mike went above and beyond a real.pleasure to meet them. Accommodation excellent and we arrived without a car (unexpected!) But with a bus stop at the end of the road we were able to travel around as planned and without concerns about parking and navigating the one-way tricky roads into villages, every cloud etc, etc! Would certainty stay again with or without car!

High quality property that has been put together with great thought and style. Mike and Orange are great hosts and on hand to help out if needed. Would not hesitate to recommend.

This is our 3rd visit to Villa Messina and what is there not to like ! From the lovely goodies that are waiting for you on arrival to the great recommendations for eating out. Nothing is to much trouble and the owners are close by if you want a chat or ideas for things to do. Beautifully decorated and furnished with everything done to such a high standard .with the added bonus of sea views and a peaceful location . Great location, with fabulous walks and so many lovely restaurants close by . Looking forward to our visit Thank you Orange and Mike for making us so welcome as always .

Lovely villa, with warm and welcoming hosts. The cream tea was an enjoyable treat!

Having made our first visit to Villa Messina in October 2021 for a week, we quickly booked again for this year! Our return visit, this time for two weeks, was every bit as good as we’d remembered. It’s an exceptional property, so well-equipped and extremely comfortable. All the extra, thoughtful touches by the owners were very much appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Villa Messina … just as long as there’s always space for us to return!

Beautifully appointed villa in a delightful location on the south coast of Cornwall; ideally placed to tour the far corner embracing Saint Ives Falmouth lands end et cetera. friendly and engaging owners on site who made sure that we were comfortable and recommended places to visit and eat. Many happy memories made??

Villa Messina is a wonderful property in a fantastic quite location well positioned for visiting fabulous beaches and beautiful walks.

Villa exactly as described. Great location. Friendly hosts. 10/10.

Property exceeded expectations. Everything we needed and more. Great view from property and very quiet. Great hosts who live next door, nothing too much trouble. Will return

Villa messina is a beautiful well appointed property which had us both relaxed from the moment we walked in. Mike and Orange are the most wonderful hosts who are always on hand to answer any questions. Lovely south facing garden with very comfortable sun loungers, providing the perfect opportunity to relax and eat Al fresco. The bed was extremely comfortable providing the best nights sleep, perfect to start your morning either chilling on the rainy days or explore the local surroundings from the beaches and quaint village walks or drives on the sunny ones. We would recommend visiting the jubilee swimming pool to try out the Geothermal baths such a lovely experience.
Thank you Aspect’s we will book again and make our return.

A beautiful villa, well placed and with a view of the sea on the horizon. The biggest bed, well equipped for every eventuality and perfect relaxation. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Exceptional property finished to a high specification with beautiful furniture and art work. Lovely views across the garden from the sunny courtyard to the sea beyond. Ideal location close to lots of lovely beaches.

We took the opportunity this time for a day trip to The Isles of Scilly and this property is also nicely located for either the heliport, ferry or airport.

Mike and Orange are excellent hosts, and everything about our stay was superb.

Villa Messina is amazing! The property itself is exceptionally well appointed. Anything you could possibly want to make your stay feel like home-from-home is there. We really enjoyed our week there and were blessed with wonderful weather too, making our long awaited family holiday and birthday celebration very special. Sush! Don’t tell everyone about this fantastic gem!!

Villa Messina is a wonderful little gem for families, a short drive to two amazing beaches and a central location to visit the numerous towns and villages along the coast. The Villa itself is perfect - clean, comfortable and spacious with great views of the owner's garden and the sea beyond. Aspects and the owners provided a very warm welcome with an array of essentials and beautiful finishing touches. We cannot wait to return!

Amazing property, modern and clean, every amenity- good location with close access to beaches and local coffee shop, pubs and fish and chip shop and supermarket!- Lovely outside space- will come again!

Amazing service, Amazing accommodation!!
