A warm and cosy cottage in an excellent location

We loved Woodbine Cottage: very central; well equipped; comfortable and cosy. Steep stairs were fine for us, but maybe not for everyone. My sister and I were very happy there for a week, finding lots to do. The bus service is efficient, and Stones Taxis were good to deal with, so if we visited again we wouldn't hire a car for a whole week. We used the Harbour carpark, at £12 per 24 hours. You can park overnight in Duke Street car park in the village (free from 4pm - 9am) and Duke Street Cafe makes a delicious breakfast, but many people know this trick, so available spaces are like finding hen's teeth (we did it once!) Sandy Lane car park, at £20 per week from the Harbourmaster's Office, seemed a bit of a schlep to get to and fro. There are trains from Penzance to St Erth/St Erth to St Ives, so it would have been easy to get to St Ives without taking the car. Parking in St Ives is awful, but walking or taking the bus to Penzance is easy!

Woodbine cottage is a gorgeous location in the heart of Newlyn. It’s a cosy cottage that still feels spacious. It has everything you need and feels like a home away from home.

Woodbine cottage is little gem on a cobbled lane .it is spacious and very nicely decorated with everything you would need . Highly recommend staying here we didn’t want to leave !

Cottage well located to explore newlyn by foot beware lots of cobbles under foot. Parking in harbour although £12.00 24 hours works out quite pricey. Comfortable furnishings and heating for cosy autumn evenings. Basic tv channels which can be challenging if youngsters in the party.

Woodbine Cottage was the perfect stay for our week in Cornwall. It felt homely and cosy and had everything we needed. The location is perfect - either for driving to nearby places or walking (Penzance, Marazion, Mousehole, Lamorna etc) Would definitely stay again. We also used the long stay carpark the other side of the Harbour (near the Red Lion pub) and it was ideal for a week!

I spent a lovely four days at Woodbine Cottage visiting family nearby and it was great to have my ‘own place’ to use for cups of tea stops with them. The cottage is located in a gorgeous, tucked away row of cottages and so peaceful. Comfortable furnishings, plenty of kitchen equipment and a fab shower too! Highly recommended and would return again and again in the future.

Lovely cottage, very well kitted out, the kids loved the beanbag chairs! Had everything we needed and was beautifully presented. Great location, couple of minutes walk to all amenities in Newlyn, pubs, chip shop, shops, cinema etc and easy access via bus, train and car to lots of fab locations in this area of Cornwall. Only downside was lack of parking which was a bit of a pain, but we worked around it. Recommend using the Tolcarne Inn carpark, as Harbour car parking machine didn't always work and no app payment options. Overall we had a great stay in this beautiful little cottage.

Lovely holiday at Woodbine Cottage, which is a cosy and comfortable property. Found Newlyn to be a charming place, especially good for easy walking to Mousehole, Lamorna, Marazion & Penzance

A lovely cottage to stay in and explore Newlyn. Loved the space and found it very comfortable and easy to holiday in.

Situated in a quiet location for a town. Great place for a walking holiday or to explore West Cornwall by car, bus or train. Furnished well and comfortable. The fact that the car parking is not next to the cottage was my only concern when booking but turned out not to be an inconvenience and we gained by having a more peaceful night's sleep. We loved the Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar too.

Very much enjoyed our autumn week in this well equipped and interesting property. As always the service from Aspect was excellent.

Lovely fisherman cottage in the heart of Newlyn. We had a great weeks holiday at the cottage. Would recommend.

Woodbine Cottage is a old fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Newlyn. It’s in a fantastic position on a quiet cobbled road yet within a minutes walk of the local shops, pub and restaurants. Duke Street cafe (a 2 min walk from cottage) is fantastic for breakfast, coffee & cake and the Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar is a must! The parking permit provided is a real bonus and we had no problems parking in the harbour car park a short walk from the cottage. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous and well though out with a lovely dining table and access to the rear door. The coffee & Cornish biscuits on arrival was a lovely touch. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable weeks stay and I would recommend it to others.

Lovely little cottage in a great location. Very good value for money. Arrival instructions were perfect and parking provided was only minutes away. Would definitely stay again.
