This was the second time staying at tranquility and we still love it. Dana drops by on your arrival to check how your journey was which is nice. The road up to tranquility is a little rough but more the worth it. Will be stopping again in the future.

We arrived at Tranquility and were greeted by the owner who was lovely and lives next door.

On entering the property we found a lovely welcome pack which included some scones with cream and Jam, Cornish biscuits and some Cornish Scrumpy along with milk in the fridge.

The accommodation is very well furnished and maintained and from its position above Carbis Bay has some excellent views.

It was very well equipped throughout and the log burner and hot tub were welcome additions after a hard day out exploring.

We would definitely recommend this property and will be staying again ourselves soon.

I read in a previous review that the pictures don't do it justice, this is so true. The interior design & features were beautiful. The sunsets & sun rises were breathtaking with a countryside feel. The hot tub was amazing! We thoroughly relaxed & felt at home at Tranquility

Tranquility really is the ideal place for couples to kick back relax and unwind. The owners of the property have gone way beyond the usual standard for an holiday let in every department. We stayed there for a week in early September and made great use of the hot tub and sun deck in the afternoons after some beautiful morning walks around the area. The interior has a wonderful relaxing vibe with a comfortable lounge area that has a large super comfy sofa and large screen TV and patio doors that open straight out onto the decking area. The kitchen dinner area is fabulous and very well equipped the sky light windows are a brilliant touch. The attention to detail also carries on to bedroom and on suite where the furniture bedding and fittings are all of a great standard. We are already missing being there and have decided to book a return visit.

Tranquillity exceeded all mine and my Husbands Expectations! We stayed here for 5 days for our honeymoon as we are huge fans of Cornwall and its beautiful coasts. The pictures of this place do not do it justice!! Location of the property was surprisingly easy to find and super private. Walking distance from Carbis Bay and local Tesco. The property is furnished/presented to an amazing standard and every facility you could think of. The addition of the hot tub made the place feel even more luxurious. We loved everything about our stay and can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for having us and making us feel so welcome! We will 100% be back and be booking to stay again in future.

Tranquility was absolutely amazing. I have been coming to cornwall for 25 years and this cottage is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. Clean, well equipped and perfect location, close to Carbis Bay and St Ives. The hosts were so welcoming and were on hand if we needed anything. It was my partners 40th birthday during our stay and we was provided with a card and a bottle of Prosecco by the hosts. It had a homely feel and lots of space for the 2 of us. After a long day exploring Cornwall we enjoyed the hot tub with a couple of drinks. Thank you for a lovely week, we did not want to leave and are already looking to book again for next year. Highly recommend!

Excellent standard of accommodation, spotlessly clean throughout and with everything you could wish for to make for an enjoyable break. The hot tub was particularly enjoyable after a long day out. Dana and Simon the owners are on hand close by to give advice on days out in the area if required. Though close to the very busy tourist areas of Carbis Bay and St Ives Tranquility is in a very beautiful and peaceful setting for a relaxing break.

Fabulous setting, wonderful facilities, extremely clean and well maintained. The owners were super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the hot-tub! Wonderful second stay for us at Tranquility. Great location for exploring St Ives and surrounding area. Close to South West Coastal Path. The owner Dana is nearby and very welcoming. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The property is very well equipped and furnished to an exceptional standard. Lovely hot tub and decked area. Cosy and warm in November. The approach is an unmade road and very narrow but fine if you take it slowly. The views at the top make it worthwhile.

Tranquility is a spotlessly clean and beautiful Cottage with everything you could need and more. The owners were there to greet us on our arrival and went through everything in the cottage, including telling us about the area and different walks to go on. They have 2 goats too called Zennor and Dillon who would greet you in a morning wanting some fuss or food.... It was my partners birthday whilst we were there. The owner let Aspect Holidays know and they surprised him with a bottle of Prosecco as a gift which was a lovely gesture. Tranquility has been one of the best properties weve stayed in and we shall definately be returning in the future.

Tranquility is a very special place to stay we had a fantastic 2 weeks. Dana and Simon could not do enough to help make your stay if you needed them. Would not hesitate to recommend you wont be disappointed. Thankyou so much.

This is our third visit and everything was as we expected from our previous visits. The premises was spotlessly clean and the decor and furnishings were comfortable and in perfect working order. Everything that you thought you might need during your stay had already been addressed. The owners are extremely particular about this property and rightly so, nothing appears left to chance. They are there to meet you on arrival and are on hand close by during your stay, should you need any help. The hot tub is welcoming and private and our two new friends Zennor and Denzil and our old friend Tacoda are always on hand to greet you when you return from your daily travels. Simply Perfect!

Stayed at Tranquility a few times now and it never disappoints. Nice peaceful and private setting but not too far from amenities. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the place is spotless and well maintained. Great parking too which is always a bonus. Ideal base from which you can explore the area. St Ives is just a short bus ride if the walk gets too much. The local bus service is reliable and very cheap. Some kind of weekly price cap has been introduced. We took our bikes and rode some fantastic routes. Hard pressed to find any better views. We plan to book for next year as we have not seen anywhere else with the same appeal.

You will not be disappointed with your stay at Tranquility. It was the most amazing holiday we've had. It was actually for our mini honeymoon. We received such a warm welcome from the owners and received some lovely welcome treats. The accommodation is absolutely stunning, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect for us. We explored the area but after a busy day it was nice to head back to the accommodation which is in a lovely quiet location. It's definitely a holiday we won't forget, thank you!

We had our honeymoon at Tranquility, and just like every other review here, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Dana was very friendly and gave some great suggestions of places to eat and visit.

The house is quite remote which we loved, it means you can visit St. Ives and all the surrounding areas but still get back to a nice quiet retreat and relax in the evening. It also has stunning views as it's right at the top of the hill.

The pictures in the listing don't really do it justice, it's light and airy, spacious and very well maintained. At the same time with the curtains drawn and the fire lit it's very cosy. Absolutely perfect.

Tranquility is the perfect place to stay. We just loved the location, it was super clean and comfy, the little touches were above and beyond, the hot tub was so luxurious and our host was so nice, the kitchen was probably my dream kitchen, the shower was huge, we were provided with slippers and bath robes, there was outdoor lighting so you could put that on in the evening, the couch was huge as was the tv, we loved it so much we have immediately booked again, I didn't want to leave......

We went to Tranquillity for our honeymoon, it was absolutely perfect! Dana and Simon was so attentive to detail by making it so personal to us. It was spacious, clean and real relaxing atmosphere perfect for a romantic getaway. They told us some places to go see which were amazing to see. They were so helpful in anything we asked. The hot tub was a treat on the cold evenings. Storm Dudley and storm Eunice meant we stayed in on the Friday which was lovely watching the storms through the patio doors! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Stayed during the New Year holiday and had the most lovely time. Weather not great but the hot tub was so lovely after a good days walking. Everything about Tranquility is just perfect. We had a great week in Tranquility. The property is of the highest standard and is kept spotless and immaculate by the hosts Dana and Simon who live next door and are available for any queries or advice if required. The hot tub was a real treat on the cold evenings and it was great to visit the local area and finish our Christmas shopping in the quiet season without the crowds. We had an amazing weekend at Tranquility! The accommodation lived up to expectation and more, it was perfect, and so well equipped! The owner was really friendly and welcoming! But gave us plenty of space during our stay. The location was perfect, we felt out of it but near enough to Carbis Bay and the beautiful St Ives that we walked to from our accommodation. There were lots of little touches that made it special… a personalised welcome sign, crackers/chutney/cheese and ciders for our arrival….. it was great! Highly recommend!

Classy, clean and comfortable.

We can't wait to stay again.It was the best equipped and furnished holiday cottage we have stayed in.It was cleaned to the very highest standard it looked brand new.The host was very friendly explaining everything we needed to know about the cottage and the hot tub. It was such a nice surprise to find a bottle of wine and scones with a tub of clotted cream and a jar of strawberry jam as a welcome gift.

We discovered tranquity by chance online and were captivated by the photos and it seemed it was just what we were looking for to start our honwymoon. We were not disappointed. We were met by the host on arrival who explained everything, the rest of the week went by in a flash and before we knew it it was time to leave. We both cannot remember having such a relaxing, chilled and quiet time together, the location is superb and we cannot wait to book to return.

We had an amazing stay at Tranquility, the cottage and the location was the perfect get away for us. The owners were so lovely too and went above and beyond in looking after us. The cottage was gorgeous and extremely comfortable and we settled in really quickly. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed watching the Olympics on the huge television. Lovey accommodation on the top of Carbis Bay and always a lovely welcome from the owner. It’s clean and extremely well equipped and is great for visiting south west Cornwall. Weather was Cornish so we appreciated having a luxurious base!

Tranquility was Just Perfect - the decor was finished to a very high standard with lovely touches from Cornwalls heritage. Dana was so lovely, telling us places to visit with very friendly advice but she also gave us privacy and space. The cottage was very spacious for two and it had all the equipment you need plus little extras of cleaning products and some local treats - thank you. It was absolutely immaculate on arrival with a welcoming message on the blackboard. We felt really at home throughout and I have to say the bed was extremely comfy. The decking area is planted with gorgeous foliage which enhances the ambience around the hot tub. The view was lovely, an ever changing vista, we certainly felt away from the hustle and bustle - extremely tranquil. Great location for visiting around the south west, we will certainly visit again.

Fantastic property in a gorgeous and TRANQUIL location. We absolutely adored the style of the property and the hot tub. The furnishings were high class and everything was immaculately clean. The property is a very short drive to local amenities and beach. The infamous Portcurno beach can be reached in 40 mins and is a must see! I would highly recommend tranquility to anyone!

Tranquility is as it’s named Tranquility itself !! Everything about this property is perfect. From the decor, the equipment, the Huge TV and the gorgeous hot tub!! Dana who owns the property gave us such a warm welcome, wonderful welcome Pack and a spotlessly clean property. After such a hard year with COVID this was the escape that was well needed. We can not speak highly enough about the property. The location is wonderful for those who love to walk, we loved the walks around Tranquility and along the coast path both towards St Ives and Lelant. It was also perfectly situated to drive out to other areas around this beautiful part of Cornwall. We felt so blessed to get this time at Tranquility. As always aspects did not disappoint. We very much hope to return to Tranquility in the future.

The owners were next door if needed; they gave us privacy and space, along with some delicacies and a lovely message on the blackboard. It's in an ideal location on high above Carbis Bay if you are active and enjoy walks, with stunning views. Well worth investing in a 1:25000 explorer map, although the property does provide a 1:50000 for your use. If you are less mobile, you will be using the car a lot, as Carbis Bay is very hilly. The hot tub helps with those tired legs; the owner gave us an initial briefing on how to use it correctly. On the entertainment side, an excellent smart television with good Internet if needed. Well-equipped kitchen. In all, a lovely and romantic place for any couple to stay at. Highly recommended.

We stayed at tranquility monday to friday, we couldnt have asked for a nicer place to stay. It was perfect, the cottage was excellent, spotless. We also enjoyed having the hot tub to relax in after our walks and sightseeing. Dana who owned the property was friendly and very helpful. The property has lovely views as it is set on one of the highest points in Carbis Bay. Because of this you do have to travel up an unmade road which if walking is very long and quite a trek.

Tranquility was a beautiful property with everything that you would need and the added bonus of a hot tub! The kitchen was not lacking in the things you need, there was a coffee machine and the property also has a smart TV so netflix etc can be accessed. The host was helpful, friendly and welcoming (we were even greeted with a little selection of local treats). Beds and sofas were extremely comfortable which makes all the difference to a stay away from home. I would love to stay again and highly recommend the property to anyone who need a bit of ‘tranquility’.

What a wonderful find! We visited during the last week of July and were not disappointed. Dana - the host - was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. She honestly couldn’t have done more to accommodate us. The property itself it absolutely stunning. So well maintained with everything you’d ever need inside. The resident goats, Hector and Hester, were a pleasant surprise too who we enjoyed seeing each morning in their paddock! Will definitely try to book to stay again.

We had such a lovely time, amazing views. The cottage is beautifully decorated to a really high standard. We had really lovely welcome personalised message left for us. Which gave it that extra little touch. Along with the welcome package with local cheese ,crackers and cider. We were absolutely blown away with how amazing our week holiday at Tranquility was. Lovely property situated 'away from it all', yet close enough to everything and everywhere you'd wish to visit in south Cornwall. The owners live next door, but were very respectful of our space/privacy, and in making sure we enjoyed our stay whilst at their property. The house is beautifully decorated and supplied with everything you might need to make this stay a 'home away from home' holiday. The hot tub was an excellent way to relax and unwind after a day out exploring this lovely part of the country. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely book here again if we find ourselves in S. Cornwall.

Our first holiday where we have totally switched off from a busy year. Tranquility was certainly the right name for the cottage. Superb location and everything you could wish for topped off by a spotlessly clean accommodation even hand delivered mince pies for Christmas by the owner 10/10 just don’t want anyone else to know about it.

Tranquility is one of those rare finds where it's not only impossible to find fault, but where the attention to detail makes it the equivalent if you were flying to flying first class.The pictures on the website make it look good but in all honesty don't do it justice. A selection of Cornish products as a complimentary gift on arrival. Milk in the fridge, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine to get you started. The wood burner, set up ready to light if you want a fire. This is a one bedroom palace, at the end of a country lane with the most fantastic views. Peace and tranquility is what it is definitely all about. How can you beat an evening in the middle of winter in a hot tub watching the stars, then curled up on a comfortable settee with a glass of wine, watching a box set on the 60 inch TV. Beautiful & well equipped cottage in a lovely area of Cornwall. The owners were welcoming, friendly, available but not at all intrusive. The hot tub was a welcome treat at the end of wet & wild Cornish day’s out & the views were incredible.

I cannot recommend Aspect Holidays high enough, the level of customer service is extremely high something that most service providers seem to lack nowadays....it was an anniversary break and a card of bottle of fizz was awaiting us on arrival, a lovely touch.. The property was perfect for couples and furnished and finished to a very high standard. Owner was so friendly and helpful and welcoming to their beautiful property. Details did state drive not suitable for certain cars, and would suggest sport cars take extra care..I was concerned when arrived but once you plot a route up and down no dramas, SUV’s and normal family cars are fine....Perfect location, beautiful accommodation, value for money and great company to book with.... Hope to return next year...

Loved this property. Designed, built and furnished to a very high standard with everything you could need. Spacious, comfortable, bright and airy . With the added benefit of a hot tub and far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful and quiet as the name suggests. Loved the “neighbours” Hamish and Hector two resident goats who we shared breakfast with every day and also the owners cat Takoda. A more chatty cat you will never meet.

We can’t speak highly enough of Tranquillity and our week in the cottage. It’s cosy, modern and spotless, with views down to the bay and - our favourite bit - a hottub on the secluded sundeck. Tucked away up a winding lane, it’s close enough to the town to make it the perfect base for the whole St Ives area - and we were on foot. One morning we set out for a walk and ended doing a spectacular five-hour trek along the South West Coast Path. On rainy days, we sank into on the sofa in front of the enormous TV watching Netflix boxsets. Heavenly! What made it even more special were the lengths to which Dana and her family went to make us feel welcome - they couldn’t have done more, or been friendlier or kinder. We’ll be back!

Tranquility was by far the best property we have ever stayed in. The property was beautifully and tastefully decorated with lots of attention to detail and comfort. The hamper left on our arrival of locally sourced produce was a thoughtful bonus which was very welcome and much appreciated.

Absolutely lovely place run and maintained by the owners who live just yards away. It still feels brand new. The finish and detail is of a high standard as is the level of cleanliness. It’s obvious that Tranquility has been built with and is managed with care. The owners are nice people and it’s not intrusive them being next door. If you are the social kind and like a chat, Dana will gladly entertain you all day. Don’t worry about the pet goats, they don’t smell or make any noise. Are you fit? We walk everywhere and timed the walk from the main road up the steep track to Tranquility at 10 minutes. Carbis beach is probably the same again. We are a fit couple (40ish) who train at the gym four nights a week and often go walking and we found this a bit tough. This is not a slight on Tranquility and will only be of interest to a few but if you have a cherished blemish free, low riding car with nice alloys and low profile tyres then you will struggle with attempting this goat/ tractor track. We used a 4x4 for this holiday and gladly so. We love St Ives and Carbis bay and when we return Tranquility will be our chosen home from home. Tip if you’re interested. Don’t blindly follow sat nav post code directions like I did and end up stuck down an over grown track. Carbis bay is clearly signed on the main roads and directions with street names are included in the welcome pack. Anyone know a good detailer to fix my scratched bodywork!

On arrival at Tranquility we could not believe how special the property looked, then once inside it was even more outstanding. We had a very chilled relaxed holiday, the owners were lovely,everything you could possibly need, and all to a very high standard - would highly recommend.

Tranquillity is the perfect romantic getaway. The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning and we loved relaxing with a glass of fizz in the hot tub. The cottage is in a prime location, just a 5 minute drive to St. Ives. Dana and Simon were so friendly and helpful and it was lovely having their goats, Hamish and Hector so close by. We had a very restful stay in Tranquility, you cannot fault the property all decorated and equipped to the highest standard. Thoughtful welcome gifts and the views are gorgeous. The property is actually the highest house up in Carbis Bay with an easy walk to St Ives and Carbis Bay train station near too. The owner was very helpful too ....and the characterful goats Hamish and Hector were a bonus and of course the hotub! A wonderful location to explore the magnificent Cornish coastline too.

Fantastic week away in Tranquility. The barn has a really luxurious feel to it and location is spot on being close to coast path, beaches, St Ives etc but at the top of the hill it is also very peaceful and out of the way, so you have best of both worlds. The owner has thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay and was friendly and welcoming whilst respecting your privacy. It would say this would be a great place to come whatever the season with the hot tub, big TV, very comfortable bed, high quality equipment and powerful shower. Really could not find fault with it and will certainly consider returning in the future.

Lovely property. Very comfortable and well equipped, with some nice quirky ornaments. Owners friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Hot tub is lovely to get into after long walks. Property was always warm and cosy. We didn’t use the log burner as the weather was amazing for the whole week we stayed. We would recommend Tranquility to friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very stylish, beautifully appointed property. Set in a peaceful location off the beaten track, Tranquility boasts great views and superbly designed interiors and garden. It is very well equipped for two and the friendly owner has thought of everything to make your holiday as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Loved coming back to the hot tub, the log burner and the lovely fluffy bathrobes and slippers after a chilly autumnal day of exploring....fantastic!!! We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely little gem of a place.

Lives up to it's name - very tranquil and relaxing. Excellent touches make it feel distinctive, classy but very homely - really enjoyed going back to the house - very much more than a base!

Everything about this property was absolutely beautiful. The property is furnished to a very high standard and it is set in a lovely and peaceful location. The hot tub and wood fire were a lovely treat after a day of exploring. Would not hesitate in returning or recommending to friends/family.

Despite wet and windy weather, we still had an amazing weekend at Tranquility! The location was perfect, not overlooked and the hot tub and log burner in cold weather were just what we needed! The property has a luxurious feel to it and has everything you need, there is really no need to leave the property! The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend!

Tranquility is a real find in a fantastic, quiet secluded location high above Carbis Bay. The property is very new so all the fixtures and fittings are to a very high standard indeed. The log burner and hot tub were such a great feature of the property, as was the 65in TV and the friendly on site goats. I would not hesitate to recommend this super property.

This cottage is a delightful find, beautifully and tastefully decorated. It is hidden at the top of a hill up a slightly bumpy lane giving great views. Our hostess was kind generous and thoughtful without being intrusive. We had a great stay and would recommend this to all couples without hesitation or reservations. Great bed, shower, kitchen and lounge, huge TV, nice jacuzzi. Couldn’t find fault with anything.

We loved the property and surrounding areas. We had a really relaxing stay and enjoyed chilling out in the hot tub. The host was lovely and made us feel really welcome. We will defiantly be staying at Tranquility again and would highly recommend staying here.
