This is the oldest residential part of St Ives and is sometimes called 'the fisherman's quarter' due to the fact that many of the old cottages were specifically built for the fisherman when St Ives was a thriving fishing port.
Situated between Porthmeor Beach and the Harbour, where fisherman still make a daily catch, properties in this area are ideally situated for those guests who want to stay just a stones throw away from the hub but still within seconds of all St Ives has to offer.
The cottages, most of which still retain much of their original character and features have been updated to accommodate modern day living and offer a home from home whilst giving a true feeling of the real St Ives.
