7 Academy Place is a light, airy, warm and super comfortable holiday cottage, just a few steps away from the shops, bars and restaurants that can be found along the cobbles of Fore Street. With plenty of options to keep all ages entertained throughout your stay, from sunny beach days on any one of the five golden, sandy beaches with clear blue waters to spend the days sunbathing, surfing and swimming, or family fun in the arcade, you certainly won't be lost for things to do. Offering space for a family of five, or that little bit extra, for couples who love a quick getaway, you will feel right at home in this cottage, and hidden away in your own secluded haven.
Within 10 minutes you can hop onto the train, taking you along the most beautiful coastal route through Carbis Bay and beyond, ideal for exploring Cornwall without having to take the car, or for the more adventurous amongst you, pull on your walking boots and take the coastal path towards Zennor, where you will be rewarded with a well deserved tipple at the end, at the famous Tinners Arms.

access to Academy Place is via a flight of external stone steps from Fore Street, WiFi, short breaks available.
Our second time in this property and another great holiday. The location is perfect for easy access to the town, and the property is surprisingly quiet given its proximity to Fore Street. Our two young daughters loved exploring all the different levels, particularly the mezzanine bedroom. We'd certainly stay here again.

Being right at the heart of the town, the location may not suit everyone. But for those who want to be able to just step out of the door and be right at the heart of Fore Street's hustle and bustle, this is a great option. Fantastic cottage in a perfect location next to the main shopping street and just a few minutes to the harbour, Portmeor beach or Tate gallery. Nevertheless really quite (seagulls might be heard, however). Very well equipped and furnished and decorated with much love and care. Three bedrooms, one of which is situated under the roof with a view to sky and sea. This one is separated from living room by stairs but not completly closed off. Perfect for family of four but would be suitable for couple with 3 or 4 children as well.

Really nice house in the centre of st ives. More spacious than we were expecting and very well equipped for cooking and eating in. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely property in heart of st ives. Well equipped and clean. Only issue for us was no dressing table and plug sockets were very limited in bedrooms for charging phones and nowhere to plug lamps in on bedside tables.

Thank you for your feedback. That sounds a little odd as all lamps had been plugged in and usable previously. It is likely they were just unplugged, with the socket perhaps hidden behind furniture, unless things have been moved around recently. We will investigate this further. 7 Academy Place is a fantastic holiday home. It is spacious, light and well-equipped. The property is in an excellent location, close to all amenities, but is still very quiet. We have visited St Ives many times and would definitely consider this property again in the future.

Fantastic holiday in 7acadermy place we as a family loved it very clean and central to everything we needed ie. Shops beach ect .very helpful staff when needed to ask them anything .we will hopefully stay in one of there properties in the near future .

This cottage has an excellent location, right off Fore Street and 3-4 minutes from the harbour beach. We bought pasties and took them back for lunch, saving money. Everything was clean and new and the place was well equipped.
