Probably our most popular location, Porthmeor Beach has it all. With great surf, good food and the famous Tate gallery, Porthmeor is the ideal location for all. Learn to surf with a registered instructor or just take to the waves if you’re already a pro.
The Tate is a must; something everyone should visit at least once, or simply relax and enjoy the view from one of our many beach front apartments. Most of the town and all it has to offer is on a level walk from Porthmeor, making it many of our guests first choice of location. Many Porthmeor properties offer parking and most have superb beach views and balconies.
The Olympic Torch will travel from Greece to Lands End on the 21st May and will be carried across the UK by 8,000 Torchbearers. The Torch will pass through many Cornish towns and villages including Penzance, Newlyn, Helston, Falmouth and Truro.
