We've had a lovely week in Grebe cottage. It's in a fabulous position to get around the local area. The bus route and trains are really good and plentiful to leave the car at the cottage so no worry of parking. We walked the coast path into St Ives which was ideal on the doorstep. The cottage itself is so cosy and quiet (we slept in the front bedroom with the beds made into a king size) and very comfy. A downstairs toilet was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again. Coming to Cornwall every year this is our second stay through Aspects holidays and they are an excellent company to deal with, the best we have experienced!

We loved our stay at Grebe Cottage. It’s a clean, comfortable, well-equipped and modern property that had plenty of space for a family of four with two small children. It was a perfect location as a base to explore Cornwall.

It was especially useful to have a dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board provided. Plus there was every utensil and implement imaginable provided in the kitchen which made cooking meals very easy!

The residential area is lovely and quiet, and it was very useful having a parking space right next to the house.

We would definitely stay here again.

A clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage in Lelant Saltings. Great location for exploring Cornwall. Private parking space right outside the property. Very short walk to Lelant Saltings Railway Station should you fancy a train ride to St Ives. There are a number of pubs/bistros nearby for a meal/drink. Coastal path walk to St Ives is enjoyable with lovely views on the way. I would highly recommend Aspects Holidays and this cottage!

We really enjoyed our time at Grebe Cottage we loved the property - it has a lovely garden and it had great parking too. It was very quiet, comfortable and well equipped and we really liked the location - we usually stay in Carbis Bay in an apartment so this was something different for us - we usually have a sea view too but actually didn't miss it. We took our bikes with us and it was great having a side entrance into the garden for them.

The location is really good as it is very easy to get a bus into St Ives or the open top bus. Lelant train station is a very pleasant, quiet walk and only 15 minutes away - it is a request stop so you need to let the driver or the conductor know so that they let you off the train - not all trains stop there, so check the timetable - it is marked with an X when they will stop on request.

There are at least five places to eat out within walking distance and a big Asda in Hayle.

So, would we stay again - absolutely - we have already booked for next year.

Lovely cottage, real home from home

Beautiful cottage with parking right outside, made an ideal base for visiting lots of places around Cornwall. Loved the new patio table and chairs which we used as the weather was beautiful. Have stayed there 3 times and would definitely book again.

Lovely cottage with a cute garden and conservatory in a great location on the outskirts of St Ives. I walked into St Ives along the most beautiful coastal path with stunning views all the way, it took me about one and a half hours but I did keep stopping to take photos. It’s great if you want a quieter spot and not in the middle of town.

Grebe Cottage was exactly as described on the website and provided us with a week in a clean, well equipped conveniently located house. We would have no hesitation recommending this property and Aspect Holidays to our friends.

A delightful cottage, in a quiet location yet within easy reach of lively St Ives and with good road access to other parts of Cornwall. Good selection of shops within a short drive and several places to eat within easy walking distance. We particularly appreciated the excellent bus service from two nearby bus stops!

A well presented and maintained cottage in a convenient location

Waking up in the morning in the front bedroom and seeing the light steaming through the inadequate blinds and seeing the water stains in them and then coming down into the Kitchen to make a cup of tea and looking out through the kitchen window and seeing all the peeling white paint on the top of the patio railings was not really our ideal start to the day. Sadly, it is not a property we would want to return to as it feels very tired and in need of repainting, redecoration and some of the now well used pieces of furniture are ready for replacement.

Lovely cottage; warm and comfortable. Pretty back garden view of the stream running into the estuary and welcomed by the squirrel and a variety of birds, although we did not see the kingfisher that had been spotted by a previous visitor. Great that there was a downstairs toilet, made life easier for the less mobile guest. A couple of good places to eat within walking distance, but close enough to Hayle to call in a supermarket or pick up a takeaway. Very convenient for getting out onto the main roads for access to St Ives, Penzance etc. Would be very happy to book there again!

We stayed in Grebe Cottage, Lelant. What a beautiful property. Home from home. Fabulous location for our stay and only minutes in the car to the beach. Two pubs within 5 minutes walking distance. Excellent just excellent I would actually love to live there! Thank you Aspect Holidays

Lovely cottage in a great location with a nice garden, plenty of room for 2, 3 or 4 people. Parking right outside was a bonus. A good base away from all the busy places so easy to get around.

Grebe Cottage in Lelant lived up to all expectations; extremely comfortable, nicely presented, well-equipped, and superbly located. Above all, though, Aspects Holidays themselves provided exemplary service. They answered queries long after a “normal” working day had ceased (up to 8 pm, I believe), and were extremely adept at handling problems. When we alerted them, for instance, to a faulty window blind on night one of our arrival, their maintenance chap was on-site and attending to it by 9:00am the next morning. Very good company to deal with, and a high quality of holiday accommodation.

Loved grebe cottage , really great location for adventuring around cornwall. Really felt at home, kids loved it too, they called it their "beach house" and can't wait to go back.

Grebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay, beautifully clean and well equipped. The garden is lovely and private and perfect for sitting out morning and evening for meals. The accommodation was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lelant is a great location, close to St Ives but without all the bustle. Would certainly be happy to return!

The cottage is a lovely home from home, ideally located for getting out and about. It has everything you could think of including a beautiful garden. We also really appreciated the added touches such as the welcome pack and washing up essentials. This is our first time booking with Aspects and we were really impressed with the property and service.

An excellent cottage in a wonderful location. We are walking the South West Coast Path and the location of the cottage could not have been better.

Lovely accommodation in a handy location. Great for two couples or family. Five minutes walk to the railway stn - so easy to travel into St Ives (and cheaper than parking). Watermill Pub nearest and easy to walk to with good food.

I wish I owned it myself.
