Hayle
Be awe-inspired by Godrevy Lighthouse sat majestically on an island at the far end of the beach where you will often spot curious seals people watching. The Towans is an ideal holiday location for all ages and is a great spot for dog-walking, water and beach sports and you will often find rock climbers practising their moves on the large boulders near Godrevy. In Hayle town you will find a range of shops and bars, a convenience store, charming local pubs and a ‘famous’ ice-cream parlour. The King George V Memorial Walk can be found in the centre of Hayle and is a lovely, level walk, planted with a wonderful selection of unique trees which creates a leafy canopy around the edge of Copperhouse Pool, a large tidal water now a site of special scientific interest. Being just a short drive to harbour and beach towns of St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole, Porthleven and Marazion, a self-catering holiday in Hayle promises a holiday to remember.
