Second time staying here and as fantastic as the first time very clean and comfortable

Extremely comfortable and convenient apartment. Our second stay, and already booked another. Aspects are, as ever, the best agency to deal with.

Really well maintained flat with high quality finishes, furnishing and fittings throughout. The kitchen is particularly well equipped. The view to the left is over the estuary; the view to the right is over Jewson's yard.

We have stayed at Paddles often and always find it extremely comfortable. The ideal location for looking around Cornwall and a plus having the shops nearby without feeling closed in. The view is lovely . Very relaxing, even on a damp day.

Loved our stay at Paddles. Great location, very clean and with everything you could need for a fantastic holiday.

Excellent property ticks all the boxes for a comfortable holiday.Have stayed several times and will definitely be back .

Paddles is in a great location with fantastic views and amazing sunsets over Lelant. The apartment is well equipped and extremely comfortable, my boys particularly love playing the Cornish Monopoly that is in Paddles when we visit.

Paddles is a lovely apartment with plenty of room for 4 people. It is well kitted out with everything you need. The view over the nature reserve is lovely. The only down side we found was that it is a long walk to the beach so with little ones you would have to use a car. But the beach is lovely when you get there. The plantation opposite has lots of walking routes and the coastal path right outside is a bonus. Its a lovely walk to St Ives and you can easily get a bus back.

we loved this apartment, it is so well laid out, well equipped and beautifully decorated in an ideal location which is central for town centre and walks yet so peaceful and tranquil in the evenings when you can sit out and watch the sun go down. This is our 2nd stay at paddles and will probably be going for a 3rd.

We loved Paddles. It's a beautiful, comfortable, very stylish apartment with an amazing view and wonderful sunsets. The view of Jewsons to the right wasn't really a problem as the view to the left is spectacular. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with every implement you can think of, which made self catering so much easier (although the addition of a coffee machine would be good). Very well placed for beaches and access to other resorts. It's easy to see why people return to Paddles and hopefully we will too.

Excellent fully equiped high quality clean, warm and welcoming accommodation.
Location suits car or public transport travel to other areas locally or across Cornwall. One allocated car parking space and unsure where a second car would park locally if required. Only minor suprise was the lack of bird life using the Hayle Estuary and Carnsew Pool SSSI during April. Would return at any opportunity!!

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are so pleased that you had such a lovely stay at Paddles, though it's a shame to hear that the local birds were not as active in the estuary as you would have thought! Watching the wildlife is certainly a great way of spending the day, whatever the weather. As you have mentioned, Paddles has one allocated parking spot, but for those who have two cars, there are a few long-stay car parks in and around Hayle, where you can park your car and then walk to the property. We very much hope we can welcome you back to Paddles soon. Katy, Customer Services.

Nicely decorated apartment. Very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Also things like beach chairs and windbreaker available to use. Unfortunately it was massively let down by cleanliness issues. We had to move the king-size bed to try and find the source of an allergy in that room. We were shocked to find a thick carpet of dust and bits of rubbish including ear plugs and even a receipt dating from 2yrs before. After having to prove the extent of the problem by emailing photos to the Aspects team they did send a housekeeper around that day and she spent a good hour cleaning the bedroom. We were also refunded a small percentage of our holiday cost. Unfortunately as cleanliness is my number one priority when staying anywhere this incident took the shine off of our holiday.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are sorry that you experienced some cleanliness issues during your stay at Pebbles, and that were some areas not up to the usual high standards. This is never what we want guests to experience, but we thank you for your patience and understanding while we arranged for a housekeeper to return to rectify the areas of concern. We completely understand just how important cleanliness is while staying in a property, and although we would much rather you not have to experience these disappointments in the first place, we appreciate you getting in touch to let us know as soon as possible so we could get it sorted straight away and your holiday could get back on track. Katy, Customer Services.

We have stayed at Paddles now 3 times. It is a first floor apartment with a very large balcony with beautiful views overlooking the bird sanctuary and Hayle beach. It is a 3 minute walk to Asda and a 5 mi Ute walk to Hayle village. Many gorgeous pubs within walking distance and approx 20 minute walk to Hayle beach and 2 hours to St Ives along the coastal path. Lukas beach bar is a must for meals especially Sunday lunch and breakfast. Paddles is immaculately clean with every appliance and kitchen utensil you would ever need. Will definitely be booking Paddles again.

Another enjoyable stay at Paddles. Looking forward to returning in September. This apartment truly is a home from home. Nice walks towards the Hayle Estuary from the door and those wonderful views to St Ives Bay from the double bedroom and lounge.

Lovely apartment and nicely situated

Paddles is a comfortable, cosy apartment with great views. It is really handy for the shops too. It is our 3rd visit to this apartment and it feels like home fro home. It has a super comfy bed and the kitchen is very well equipped. On one our days out we came across the Dog and Rabbit cafe in St Just which was very welcoming and served excellent lunches. Well worth a visit.

We love paddles. The location is perfect as we get the train everywhere. It is a lovely, modern apartment and we look forward to visiting for many years to come. We love the views out of the windows. The beaches at Hayle are stunning so all in all a perfect holiday destination for us

Paddles is one of the most comfortable well equipped delightful apartments that I have ever stayed in on holiday. The view from the lounge window is lovely and it is great to see the geese chattering away flying in formation overhead. I travel by public transport so for me it is perfect to have the train station a stones throw away, good bus services and the Asda round the corner couldn’t be more convenient. Good walks along the sandy beach when the tide is out. I like Hayle because it is flat and quiet. Great holiday.

Lovely apartment, great views, lots of wildlife around , and very close to a large supermarket. Another good point is that it is very close to good transport links.

Lovely apartment, very good location with everything on doorstep and well positioned to get to places. Nice view of estuary, although I enjoyed our view more last year in St Ives as it was more picturesque, but this apartment was a fraction of the price and easier to get to takeaways and shops. So great value for money. Would recommend Sanders Fish & chips and had a nice meal in Salt Kitchen, both 5 min walk.

Comfortable, good location flat. Many new cafes and restaurants in hayle. Lots of lovely things to see and do if you want to.

Paddles is a great apartment, close to amenities and the beach. The apartment had been cleaned to a high standard and we were phoned by Aspect's to say that we could go in earlier as the cleaner had finished, which was nice to know. Asda is only a few minutes walk away and open quite late. If you want to visit St Ives I would highly recommend the scenic train, catch it at St Erth park and ride station. Hayle is a good base if you wish to visit St Michaels Mount or the Minack Theatre. The balcony furniture is nice to sit on and everything you can think of is provided.

A gem of an apartment. Clean, well decorated and supplied in a great location for the town and coast. It has parking but it is close to train and bus services (best way to visit St.Ives). Lots of local eateries and walks. Thoroughly recommended, we loved it.

This is a great place to stay, very central and close to all the amenities. Perfect for all the sites and the beach. The apartment had absolutely everything you will need and has a stunning view over the estuary especially during sunset.

We liked everything about this apartment, the cleanliness, decor, the view, the well stocked cupboards!! It really was home from home. The balcony was an added bonus, especially on a sunny evening to watch the sun go down. We have been staying in Hayle for some years now & this was definitely the best accommodation by far! Thankyou for the cream tea & milk on arrival it was a lovely touch & for sharing your beautiful home. Aspects were amazing & are on hand if you need anything, we would definitely recommend to family & friends

Paddles is a beautiful apartment with a balcony overlooking the estuary and bird sanctuary with beautiful sunsets. It is in a perfect location in Hayle with all restaurant, pubs and shops within walking distance. The amazing 3 mile stretch of beach is about a 15 minute walk. Paddles is right on the South West Coastal Path. It is immaculately clean with lovely furnishings. The kitchen has every piece of equipment needed and also a vast array of herbs and spices which were very useful. All cleaning products are supplied. We have stayed at Paddles twice and have rebooked again for next year and hoping to fit another week at Paddles in this year too. Thank you so much. Anne Judge

Paddles is a lovely apartment. One of the best places we've stayed in so far on our visits to Hayle to see family. The view from the balcony is gorgeous (ignore the building work happening at North Quay, although it's quite fascinating watching what's going on, and ignore the timber yard next door). The apartment was a great space to have the family round for dinner, although it would have been nice if the weather was less windy and warmer so that we could have sat on the balcony and watched the sunset over Lelant, the station and the church.

Our second stay at Paddles and we enjoyed it even more than last time. Yes you can hear an occasional announcement about reversing forklift in the timber yard next door but this honestly did not bother us. You can see into the yard to the right but straight ahead and to the left from double bedroom and lounge are the amazing views of the Hayle Estuary out to the sea. Walks to the RSPB reserve and beach from the door, no need to drive even for shopping or takeaways/restaurants. We have stayed in Hayle many times before but have explored on foot much more since staying at Paddles due to its location. Such a comfortable, well appointed apartment, not a single item of kitchen equipment that wasn't provided. Have already reserved two more stays for 2023.

We arrived to a warm and inviting apartment decorated for Christmas. It is our second stay in Paddles and hopefully it won't be our last. We can tell that the apartment is cared for and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. As we said last time we stayed , you won't want to leave and we didnt want to. Aspects were brilliant as always. Thankyou

Very wild and windy outside during our stay - so especially grateful for such a warm and comfortable apartment. A great base for the numerous local walks and very convenient for local shops. We would like to book again but already 2022 is all but full. Special thanks to the housekeeper - the apartment is spotless. SUE & DOUG POWELL

Great apartment with stunning views over the estuary watching the sunset

Lovely holiday in a lovely part of the world, Thank you.

A lovely apartment, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Easy walk into town and Asda superstore barely 5 minutes walk. Fantastic outlook over the towans and out to St Ives bay.

Very comfortable, clean and pleasant apartment to stay in. Only one parking space which could be a problem but the outdoor space and views are wonderful. Hayle is a great place to stay with amenities all on the doorstep.

A very comfortable and clean modern property. Two bathrooms are an added bonus.Very well equipped for cooking in, but also is within walking distance of cafes, pubs and restaurants for eating out. Walks from the doorstep and excellent if you like birdwatching.

Lovely holiday, thank you

Wonderful place to stay to get away from it all. Real home from home with everything provided for an enjoyable stay. The balcony has the sun on it all day which is a real bonus for al fresco eating and drinking .

Aspects holidays staff very helpful. Well-equipped and comfy apartment in great location with scenic views. Great local beaches and places to visit. Good local shops, take aways, etc. Our second visit to Paddles and we will visit again!

Paddles and Hayle is a great location for exploring this part of Cornwall. Great to have such a lovely apartment to stay in if the weather isn’t great. Would definitely stay again.

Great views and location in a very comfortable and well looked after family apartment

Paddles is a well appointed and beautifully presented apartment in a quiet block. It has glorious views across an rspb lake towards the sea with a charming view of the West Cornwall golf course and Lelant church. The town centre and an Asda superstore are within easy walking distance.

Paddles is a very comfortable, clean, well - equipped and high spec apartment. Great fast wi-fi and lots of TV channels.

Fantastic views from balcony, including sunsets over the estuary.

Great location for visiting many places in Cornwall.

Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return!

Paddles is a fantastic place to stay in Cornwall very comfortable lovely views you won’t want to come home

A great apartment with beautiful views of Hayle estuary and sunsets to die for, an ideal base for exploring Cornwall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paddles, it is fully equipped and we made good use of the balcony( we took our own sun chairs) the sunsets are amazing. Hayle is a lovely place full of character and a good base to go out and see different places. The bus services to Penzance and St Ives are brilliant if you don't want to take your car.Asda is 5 minutes away for all your supplies. The Salt Bar was our favourite place to eat but there are many others that are very good, you need to do some research to find them. We would recommend this appartment to all.

As we stayed in Penzance over the last years, we were looking for something else. The apartment Paddles in Hayle is spacious with nice views and 2 bathrooms and has a large balcony (which we could not use due to bad weather). The main bedroom has also nice views to the river and beaches behind, whereas the twin bedroom looks out to a stone wall and only has a small window that makes airing a little bit difficult. Despite the very beautiful countryside around Hayle (especially Godrevy) we were a little bit disappointed by the surroundings itself, for dinner we went to St. Ives, Penzance or cooked by ourselves. The ASDA is not far away and very suitable to grocery shopping. All in all a very comfortable and new apartment, however as far as the location is concerned, other towns offer more.

Thank you for taking the time to send in your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the nice light, airy spacious feel of Paddles, and those great views of the estuary. We try to show as clearly as possible on the website that the twin bedroom doesn't have those same great views as the master bedroom and living room, so we are sorry if you had expected views from there as well. It is a smaller window in that room, especially when compared to the sliding doors that you have for ventilating the other bedroom and the living area, but there is one side of this window that opens fully and should still provide plenty of ventilation. We will of course monitor for any further feedback though. We were really sorry to hear that you were disappointed with Hayle as an area, and such a shame that we couldn't have helped recommend some great places to eat in the town- whilst it is a smaller town when compared to the likes of St Ives and Penzance, you have 3 miles of beautiful beach to explore and there are still some really lovely restaurants in the town and a couple that are away from the main part of the town but still within walking distance. If you are ever returning to the area, please do not hesitate to get in contact so that we can help with a few suggestions. We would love the opportunity to share a few little gems with you! Thanks again for your comments. Tanya, Customer Services

Really nice and modern apartment with great views from the balcony and fantastic sunsets. Easy to get to different areas from Hayle without having to travel too far. Clean, tidy and well equipped, lovely holiday, Thankyou

Lovely flat. Very comfortable. Would love to come again.

Worth every penny a must

A very comfortable, well equiped and modern apartment with excellent views. Local facilities, places to eat and beautiful locations to visit are all within easy access.

A very well appointed, comfortable apartment, with good access to local amenities and beaches in a beautiful area of Cornwall.

This is a high spec appartment in a great location. Very spacious and well equipped. Lovely decor. Would recommend.

The apartment was one of the best we have stayed at and the views was beautiful. We will be coming back next year.

Well worth a visit to this lovely apartment. A lovely view whilst being close to local amenities. Warning ! You won't want to leave ??

What a lovely place to stay & very well equipped. Loved the daily morning walk around pool watching & listening to variety of waders. Highly recommend salts bar very short walk & dog friendly. Would definitely stay again

A fabulous dog friendly apartment with amazing views, even the Jewson yard! So close to the beaches - a short stroll along the quay. Central for driving to towns & gardens on both North & South coast. Lots of eateries nearby, our favourite is The Old Quayhouse at Lelant saltings. Dog walks straight from the front door, around Carnsew Pool & straight across the road in grounds of the old foundry.

Excellent property. Well equipped and fantastic views. Easy to visit other places and lovely walks.

An exceptionally well appointed apartment. A great base for exploring the region with easy access and parking.
