It has flourished as a port for over 400 years and today is a charming town with many attractions including the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Falmouth has earned its place on the culinary map, from elegant fine dining to relaxed beach cafés and riverside pubs, many serving locally caught fish and seafood.

A hub of activity

Holidays in Falmouth enjoy the ideal holiday base to explore the area from, with many opportunities for ‘car free’ days out, enjoying transport links from Falmouth by bus, rail and water. Visitors can take pleasure boat cruises around the Fal estuary or up the beautiful Helford River.
